I have seen pineapples all around Blogland and stores and ads. I don't have anything new in any pineapple form, but this teeny, neglected oldie from Stampin Up has finally seen some ink (DI Fossilized Amber) and other paints and has been stamped all in a row, within my rows of stripes (again with the stripes)! The big Thank You is from Concord and 9th and I heat embossed with a Hero Arts fern green. A few seed beads finish it off.

A masculine Thank You card
Hello and thanks for stopping in!
I have a card today featuring water colour and the Winnie and Walter (Kindness with Evelin T. ) and one of the cutaways In a Word:Thanks die products. This stamp set has so many possibilities and I love the two sizes of the trees!
I first stamped in black Memento ink onto Arches cold pressed w/c card and used a combination of Zigs and Gansai Tambi w/c paints. I left the background free of any wash of colour or splatters, going for a CAS feel and cut the sentiment out of glossy black card and then layered onto a black fun foam Thanks and adhered to the front. I cut the panel down to 3 3/4" across and 5 1/2" and then layered onto a little larger black panel and then onto a PTI Tropical Teal card front. This card is headed over to the (new to me) CASMixUp challenge for June, the
Stamplorations CAS with optional colour blue and
Addicted to Stamps and More where they are open to "Anything Goes" challenge.

Memory Box classic
Memory Box has issued it's fifth challenge and it's a classic! Black and White!
here is the card that I created using the MB Heart Twig Wreath and
Fall Thank You sentiment. White heat embossing for the wreath, Memento black ink for the image and just the tiniest touches from a few Copic markers. The edges are two narrow strips of vellum from the SU holiday catalogue.
Easy Peasy! I hope to have a second cup with this challenge using only their magnificent dies...
Thanks for peeking in!

CAL Trio of Trees
Thursday again...the weeks are flying by! Have you seen the new challenge over at the Card Concept? Colours.
I decided to create a CAL card today using this little tree image that I love from PTI Boards and Beams set, Lil Inkers stitched rectangles, sentiment from SU and card front from Cosmo Cricket Nutmeg DP.
Another Easy Peasy...I just coloured the trunks with PTI Vintage Linen refill ink, stamped the trees in SU Summer Sun, Riding Hood Red and PTI Simply Chartreuse.
Thanks for taking a peek today, hugs-Chriss

Bold Beautiful Blooms Thank You
Back with another card that is suitable for two challenges...love that!
The Papertrey Ink 7th Anniversary challenge for today is to use stripes.
The CAS ology cue word this week is BOLD.
I made my stripes with some patterned PTI paper from the Beautiful Blooms
8 X 8 stack. I layered onto a black PTI card stock front and then made my flower blooms from various PTI dies. I also added a crystal clear and chartreuse button center that I recently bought at Michael's. I stamped my PTI sentiment in true black and just hand cut a little strip and added to the card. I think these colours on black are pretty bold for the CAS ology challenge...right?
That's it for tonight folks- Thanks for popping in!

Verve's Get Your Diva On!
Good morning everyone,
Today's card is one of the many Thank You cards that I need to make. It seems I never have enough on hand. I saw that Verve is having a little challenge for guest diva and I am submitting this. The "Get Your Diva On" link is here. It's not too late for you to try too!
This Verve flower from the Great Friend set was just screaming to me to take out some silk ribbon and make some French knots in the center. I have a stash of hand dyed silk ribbon in bitty lengths and used various colours for this flower. I stamped the flower on two different patterned papers from the Graphic 45 Once Upon a Springtime 8X8 paper pad, cut out and then did the French knot sewing and layered the two flower sizes with dimensional foam. Love stamping directly onto patterned papers, instant visual texture! The center panel has distressed edges and I stitched two rectangular panels together.
I layered the Verve Thank You from the Dream Big stamp set onto another Graphic 45 sheet from the same pack. The lace is some that I have in my growing stash and I just ran a length of the tape runner over the card front, pleated the lace as I was positioning it and then ran the sewing machine over it.

a DTGD plethera
Hi there! Hope you are all well and enjoying the sights from CHA..oh I wish I was there ;)
I have a card that I made and can mark off a few more DTGD challenges. The card is for
DTGD10tayloredexpressions, DTGD10melmel, DTGD10debdeb, DTGD10cindy_haffner DTGD10flowergal36 and a Flourish challenge, FTTC77 to use a pin. In my case I have used a teeny clothes pin with a ladybug attached to it. I have been hoarding these for 3 years now...so time to let a few of them fly ;)
I used this great sketch as the foundation to my card and then wanted a black/cream/red theme, so I stamped this little Lockhart geranium stamp and coloured with Copic markers. The black and cream paper is another hoarded sheet of BG LilyKate. The red patterned pieces are from DCWV Summer Dream Matstack. The tag is a MS punch and the sentiment is from the PaperTrey Ink set Tea for Two Additions.
Thanks so, so much for looking!

DTGD~Rooster Thank You
The image is a newly acquired Lockhart rooster and when I saw it, I knew I wanted to use this to paper piece with. I reached for my CosmoCricket Garden Variety 6X6 paper pad and a few scraps of CC Early Bird. I love how his little eye was stamped on the edge of a flower pint and the eyeball is the flower center. I used a couple of the oversized rectangles from Spellbinders for the panels and edged some of them with my "sketch" side of a Copic marker. The rooster's comb and dangly bit(don't know the official name of this) was also coloured with a Copic. I stamped the Thank You in Memnto Tux. black with a PTI stamp from this year's anniversary set and punched it out with a SU small oval punch. The little flowers were also punched with the trio flower SU punch and I added rhinestones to the centers. The flourish is a Sizzlets "Scribbles" die and I added rhinestones to it also.
So that is it for this card, hope I get to make another today before I leave for work this afternoon! Have a great day, and thanks for peeking in!
