TRIP KUCHING : SARAWAK CULTURAL VILLAGE

Located at the foot of Mt. Santubong about 35 km north of Kuching you will find the Sarawak Cultural Village.Sarawak Cultural Village is a great destination for families, as it offers a hands-on experience of Sarawak. If you are just on a short vacation visiting the village is a good way of getting a general overview of Sarawak's culture and traditions.

The Sarawak Cultural Village was officially opened in 1990. It was set in a tranquil setting of landscaped tropical forests and a man-made lake. This cultural village is considered a must-visit for every visitor to Kuching because it showcases the various attributes of major ethnic population in the whole state of Sarawak, namely the Malay, Chinese, Iban, Orang Ulu, Bidayuh, Melanau and Penan. While there is nothing comparable to visiting the actual dwelling sites of these tribes who thrive in either the massive delta of Rajang River, or in deep rainforests accessible only by airplanes, the showcases in this village are pretty much as close as one can get in getting to know the colourful multi-ethnic characteristics of Sarawak.

TERUBUK MASIN DARI KUCHING SARAWAK

Salam Bersiaran kembali..(macam lama dah tak update secara frequent..)

Hujung minggu lalu (8-9 Oktober 2011) aku berkesempatan menjejakkan kaki ke Bumi Kuching,Sarawak..a very short trip tapi cukup lah untuk permulaan..Plan asal nak spend masa 3 hari 2 malam,since my boss tak approved cuti because harini ada SIRIM Recertification audit ISO9001 so balik semalam juga lah..Kerja always lagi penting dari Holiday.

Overall solo trip ke Kuching best.sorang-sorang pun best..sempat lah jalan jalan ke waterfront,naik boat cruise,beli kek lapis dayang salhah,cari souvenir dan terubok masin di Pasar Satok,dan sempat spent masa dalam sarawak Cultural Village..kalau ada sehari lagi would be nice untuk try all signature dish kat Kuching..sempat makan laksa sarawak sahaja..Mee kolok tak sempat.Ok lah..there always be next time ya..

Ada masa nanti aku story pasal trip ni.Till my finger touch the keyboard again (atau dalam bahasa mudah till aku rasa rajin untuk update.)

*Malam ni Dinner sangat best..aku masak nasik putih dan Goreng Terubok Masin..memang sangat menyelerakan sampai bertambah tambah nasik.haha..jemput tengok yek..:p
