Anita Hill in Austin

On a recent Saturday morning, we attended a reception for Anita Hill at a nice home in West Austin. The man speaking is Jim Ritts, our friend who runs the Austin Theatre Alliance. She gave a talk at the Paramount Theatre the next night.

Paramount projector

This pre-digital projector was salvaged and saved at the Paramount Theatre. It used those big old film reels that you see on the floor here. You wonder how many films were shown on this thing.
