They keep such a nice yard.

The state flower.

This yard in West Austin had a nice stand of bluebonnets. These are the state flowers of Texas and you are not supposed to pick them, so I'm told. I never have, that's for sure.

Flora from the Fauna Farm

Some nice flowers were on sale at the Farmer's Market. They had been arranged with care at the Animal Farm.

Some friends sent us this sweet arrangement of plants the other day, after we invited them on a food tour. We put it by the window to get some natural light.

Red Roses for our Living Room

Some good friends sent us these roses the other day after we invited them to dinner. Brightened up the place for Valentine's Day!

We went to the Texas Book Festival's gala a few days ago and this was one of the pretty floral arrangements on display at the silent auction.

Spring on the Avenue

Flowers bloom and cacti sprout in front of the Yeti Store on Congress Avenue. That's FFP with the shopping bag and the Frost Bank Tower and then the Capitol in the distance.

The wildflowers of Texas are always inspiring. It's nice to have these pretty plants so close to us along the trail.

Spring is well underway in Austin. Saw this growing up a telephone pole in Old West Austin.

Flowers at The Four Seasons

We always love walking into the lobby at The Four Seasons and seeing what the artists who do their flowers have created.

We used to have flowers in our backyard. Now we have them along the Pfluger Pedestrian Bridge.

The big and beautiful flower arrangements at the Four Seasons Hotel are one of their trademarks. It's always nice to see the visual delights being offered in their lobby.

Loved the flowers at our table for Red Hot and Soul-- the Zach Scott Theatre fundraiser -- not long ago. Very pretty! A great crowd and nice tablemates.
