Bonamassa

Jackie saw a concert recently at ACL Moody Theater. From her message about this concert she really enjoyed:

"We love [Joe] Bonamassa’s music; enjoyed him at ACL Live almost exactly two years ago, too. This time he brought local guitar hero Eric Johnson to the stage for a couple of numbers. Attaching a shot of the two of them with the rest of Bonamassa’s band, which now includes Reese Wynans on keyboards. Wynans was formerly part of Stevie Ray Vaughan’s Double Trouble."

Ready for Music

Jackie shot this from the balcony seats at Moody Theater. She says the Mark Knopfler show was amazing in that most of the sold-out crowd were in their seats before the performance began.

Our friend Jackie went to see Mark Knopfler at ACL Live at the Moody Theater last month. She says it was an amazing band with all kinds of instruments including one in this photo that looks quite mystifying.

Noticed this plaque the other day on Lavaca Street near the Austin City Limits Moody Theater.

Willie Salutes Buffet

In May Jimmy Buffet played at ACL Live. They decked out the Willie statue with island wear for the occasion. Thanks to Jackie for this catch.

Wine Down Wednesdays

Second Street has a Wednesday event with free music on the 'porch' of the Austin City Limits Live (Moody Theater). At then end of May Jackie shot this picture of local blues singer Nakia performing.
