Warm and Cozy Holiday...

Hello!

I have a new Scenic Saturday post on the Bellarific blog today. It's the holiday season and Uptown Girl Poppy Loves Gingerbread is ready to get cozy and indulge in some sweet Christmas treats.

Uptown Girl Poppy Loves Gingerbread is a girl after my own heart, spending the Christmas season in her comfiest holiday jammies every chance that she gets. She also knows that one of the best ways to keep warm on a cold winter day is by baking lots of yummy Christmas cookies. To help create a warm and inviting place for Poppy to call home, I paired her with the retired Fireplace Backdrop decorated for the holidays using the retired Little Bits Santa's Mantle set. Between the warmth of the roaring fire and that fresh baked gingerbread cookie, Poppy is feeling quite toasty. I stamped the sentiment above the fireplace and colored a decorative frame around it so that it would become part of the room's decor. Once I had that done, I masked off Poppy, the fireplace, sign and floor so that I could airbrush a coat of color on the wall before also stamping a decorative pattern onto it, making it look like wallpaper. Now if only I could join Poppy in her cozy Christmas abode for a lazy day, I would be as happy as an elf with a candy cane.  ;)

Before I go, don't miss out on the big holiday sale that is going on now in the Stamping Bella store, 10% OFF the new release and 25% OFF of the older stamps... including Uptown Girl Poppy Loves Gingerbread

Stay crafty my friends!

Release day at Stamping Bella!

TGIF!

What better way to end the week than with the latest release from Stamping Bella? How about ending the week with a new release and a sale! That's right, now through Monday, December 8th, not only are the new release stamps 10% OFF but all the rest of the store is 25% OFF. No code is necessary as all of the discounts have already been applied.

For my card today I've paired the new Uptown Girls Sasha and Ivy with the new Mountain View Backdrop. These best friends have gone on a hike to take in the beautiful vista together and now that they have successfully arrived at the summit it's time for a celebratory selfie. The new Best Friends Sentiment set is perfect for finishing off friendship cards like this, and this particular one really hit the mark. So, have fun checking out all of the new stamps and maybe even getting a deal or two on some older stamps that you've had your eye on.  ;)

Let Love Grow...

Hi there!

The December release sneak peeks start today at Stamping Bella and over the next couple of days the rest of the team and I will be sharing cards using all of the new stamps that will be available for purchase on Friday, December 5th at noon EST.

This release is jumping ahead to Valentine and Spring celebrations and Whimsabella Trixie Bloomheart has all of the love in the world to send to a special someone this coming Valentine's Day. With her perky pigtails and dress covered in hearts, there something special about Trixie. She is holding a bouquet of heart shaped blooms which inspired me to pair her with the older Spring Backdrop full of oversized flowers. The sentiment is from the Garden Sentiment set and I like how it bridges between the love and flower themes of the card. Well, I hope you have enjoyed this first sneak peek and I will be back tomorrow with more Stamping Bella cuteness!  :)

Heartfelt Wishes...

Hey, hey!

I recently got my goodies from the Christmas Cheer release at Hello Bluebird and I couldn't wait to play with the new Santa Postage die. I really like that it includes an extra large 'stamp' for the focal point. The sweet little reindeer from the Christmas Tree Farm set was the perfect fit for that large stamp so I built the card around her, adding the trees and snowflakes as well. The small sign was borrowed from the Perfect Tree set to fill the last 'stamp'. Since Hello Bluebird doesn't have a postage stamp set, I used a handful of Postage Collage sets from Waffle Flower to add the postage and cancellation marks once the scenes were all colored in soft pinks and greens. The only strong color that I used was the red of the scarf and I used a matching ink when stamping the sentiment from the Christmas Wishes set. That, plus the addition of the red enamel hearts, creates a nice balance throughout the design of the card. :)

Thanks for stopping by!
