~It's a Bright Sunny Day~

Happy Monday, its a bright, bright , bright sunshiny day!
There's nothing like a fresh bunch of  sunflowers to brighten up a day...
They are good for the soul.
 They make my heart sing.
And brighten up a room. The Sunflower can help make you smile.
The orchid brings a sense of calm and peacefulness to a room.

The white is so pretty and sweet. My heart just goes all a flutter.

May this new week bring you sunshine and peace.

~Pretty Flowers~

Happy Monday my dear friends. What a beautiful weekend we had here in my neck of the woods, so I thought I would share with you some the lovely flowers in bloom around our home.
It was my birthday on March 7th and my parents came over for a birthday visit and brought these ever so lovely freshly cut tulips. We have a tulip farm in Modesto, and the flowers are just amazing.

When I look inside the bloomed tulip it always reminds of a kaleidoscope.

Gary knows I love orchids, he bought this lavender orchid for me for our Anniversary on February 21st. We celebrated 34 years.

And of course my white orchid, this baby just keeps blooming every year. I think she is "beautiful"

This is my little gal, she only has one bloom so far, but many more to come.

Outside the garden is showing signs of springs.

Until next time, I hope your days are full of sunshine and flowers!
Big hugs my friends ~Elizabeth~

~ New Moth Orchid Buds ~

Gary and I were so thrilled to see new buds on our Moth Orchid plant. I had moved the orchid into the tea room after the original blooms had fallen off. The light is filtered and not to strong in this room of the house. We wondered if it would even bloom again. Well it is! and we are so happy and can't wait to see the Flowers.
Remember what it looked like?, this is the original picture we posted back in Sept. of 2008 when we first purchased the orchid.
Oh, I do hope it blooms as pretty as the first time. The cluster of white flowers is just so beautiful to me.

~ New Moth Orchid Plant ~

This weekend while Gary and I were at Lowe's were spotted this beautiful "Moth Orchid". I love white flowers and plants they have such a pretty glow. We decided to try our hand at growing a Orchid plant. The attached leaflet said its a fast robust grower and easy to grow, so we shall see!. I will keep my fingers crossed.
It sure has a beautiful soft cluster of flowers. For now we have the orchid sitting on our dinning room table.
