Bila aku nak pegi jalan2 . .

Excited! Sbb weekend nie ade Matta Fair. Dalam kepala nie, dah penuh destinasi nak di recce kat Matta Fair nnt. Bersyukur sgt dipanjangkan umur dan dimurahkan rezeki utk dpt melancong. Dan terima kasih gak dekat Air Asia sbb provide flight murah dgn destinasi menarik so membolehkan aku terbang merata2, tanpa perlu bersaving bagai nak rak.

Walaupun kekadang aku ade gak love hate relationship dgn air asia, contohnye mase flight delay dr KK ke KL, pastu masa aku pre book meal lain dpt meal lain,  tp aku bersyukur tak penah ade problem yg teruk sampai kena tinggal flight and kena layan dgn rude steward/stewardess. The key is simple, follow the instructions/rules, keep yourself up to date with the announcement and be nice to everybody!

Btw, masa fikir2 destinasi pelancongan seterusnye, aku terpanggil nak blog pasal tips2 travel, so that kalo korang tak ske travel sbb korang rase renyah, maybe korang akan ubah fikiran and org yg ske travel boleh benefit drpd tips2 nie.

1. Air Asia buat sale besar2an? Camne nak dpt best bargain

- list dan pilih 2-3 destinasi pilihan korang. Buat priority

- list tarikh2 yg korang available, jgn fix sgt, set range tarikh (xtra tips: kalo ke overseas, pastikan tak bertembung dgn tarikh cuti sekolah atau long public holiday/festive holidays, kedai byk tutup n surcharge applies)

- then set range harga korang, cam kalo nak pegi ho chi minh, tiket less than RM250.

- kalo pegi beramai, consider split booking, obtain personal info siap2

- just beli tiket je dulu, add on beli kemudian (xtra tips: kalo nak beli add on, kena beli one day before terbang ye, so kalo g trip shopping, boleh consider beli luggage one day before gak, so that tak terlebih/terkurang beli. tp sbnrnye tak recommended sgt wat camnie, unless korang sgt organised n alert dgn timing segala)

2. Terbang dgn Air Asia

- masa terbaik utk smp airport utk check in n departure adelah seperti dalam invoice korang. Tp biasanya, 2 jam 30 min utk overseas, 1 jam 30 min utk local. Still depending on the crowd and waktu departure

- web check in, so kalo korang terlambat n tak perlu check in bag, boleh lari terus ke departure gate. Tp kalo smp lagi 20 minit nak tutup gate, tinggi peratusnye yang korang akan kena tinggal..

- kalo check in bag, at least 2 jam before terbang!

- ensure hand luggage korang follow the rules. x payah korang buang masa nak risau mase kena cek nnt. (remember this:  dont  worry over things that we shouldn’t be worried for at the first place!)

3. Merancang perjalanan - Nak book travel agent ke nak redah sendiri?

Travel Agent

Pros – Accomodation, transportation and food semua boleh disetelkan. Kalo follow Muslim travel trip, makanan dan waktu sembahyang kite dijaga. Sesuai utk rombongan besar, rombongan dgn org emas, orang yg xde masa and org yg kurang skit disiplin tang timing2 nie.

Cons – Lebih mahal drpd plan sendiri. Kekadang sampai double the actual cost! Kena follow timing, yg kekadang tak logic.

Redah Sendiri

Pros – Jadual bebas. Boleh melihat persekitaran dengan lebih jelas n jumpe tempat2 baru yg best tanpa sengaja. Jimat duit.

Cons – Kadar keberangkalian utk sesat adalah lebih tinggi. Kena sentiasa peka dgn sekeliling.

Bday Excursion - Ho Chi Minh

Kami pegi berempat, tp flight pagi tu, kami berdua je, sbb yg lagi dua tu, mmglaa sama tarikh, tp rupenye departure time tak sama. Kami cuba gak minta diorg naik sekali, tapi tak dapat. Mungkin sbb seat kosong yg tinggal adelah hot seat je (n aku baru tahu kalo nak tukar seat g hot seat kena tanye crew dulu). Takleh komen lebih, sbb bukan salah AA.

Immigration

Kami sampai hcm pas 2 jam perjalanan n terus pegi immigration. Xde form2 nak kena isi, bagi passport je. Q agak panjang dan seperti komen2 di travelblog yg lain, pegawai imigresen die mmg x mesra, senyum pun susah. Selesai urusan di kaunter imigresen,  aku g amik beg dulu n agak terkejut, bila tgk carousel dah x bergerak, tp lega bila nampak beg dah diturunkan ditepi belt. Mungkin sbb limited belt utk menampung byk arrival drpd international flight, so carousel x round byk kali.

Communication

Sebelum keluar dr airport, aku sempat beli local sim card dr vinaphone. Utk memudahkan komunikasi dan mengurangkan unnecessary cost. Senang je nak beli sim card, sbb salesgirl kat situ pandai cakap omputih n penyabar orgnye. Dia akan ajar skali camne nak setup, cek balance, beli data utk internet. Nie breakdown kos dalam vnd dan rm:

Kalau hp x pakai micro sim, kos dlm RM23, dgn total prepaid VND125,000. Pastu aku beli data plan 150mb yg valid utk 30 days for VND25,000. Baki VND 100,000 tu boleh buat international call for 30 minutes. Tpkan, kalo dah ade whassap, mmg tak luak sgtlaa prepaid. So kalo tak perlu nak wat international call yang kerap, beli top up VND50,000 pun dah memadai.

Transportation

Misi pencarian teksi, mmg mencabar, sbb masing2 quote harga tinggi. Kalo diorang quote usd15, silala cari yang lain, sbb mahal!. Kalo xnak pening, kuar arrival hall, belok kiri, n cari teksi vanisunh n mailinh, yg pakai meter. Tp dlm kes kami, kami decide nak tggu lagi dua org tu utk jimat kos. Skali diorg dah beli tiket for VND220,000 around RM35. Mahal gakla, tp dah spread by 4, ok laa kot.

Fyi, kalo dari hotel ke airport bila guna meter hanyalaa around vnd 150,000. 

Money Changer

Nway, kalo nak tukar duit, boleh tukar kat airport kat hcm. Sbb rate lagi bagus daripada kat kl. Diorg accept RM, but kalo ade usd, akan dpt much better rate dr kl. N mintak terus small change kat situ. Korang takyahlaa buang masa stress n bengang bila x dpt small change kat money changer Malaysia, sbb diorg tak pegang byk vnd, so agak susahlaa diorg nak bg small change.

My advice, basically kena ade sume currency, RM, USD n VND. As usual, vnd is widely accepted. Tp kekadang bila tgh nak membeli, diorg akan quote dlm rm/usd, so korang leh decide which cheaper, n bayar in that currency. But bear in mind, no cents! Most of the time, korang kena round up kan figure.

Accomodation

Penginapan selama 4d3n kat hcm adelah di white hotel.  Book hotel di agoda je. Kalo nak book hotel cari yg dkt dgn ben thanh market. Sbb bkn saje dekat dgn ben thanh market, dkt dgn night market dan juga kedai makanan halal.

Tips mase nak cari hotel online- spend skit masa baca komen2 di agoda tu. boleh dpt byk gak useful tips and perkara2 yg korang tatau pasal hotel tu. 

Berbalik pada white hotel, kami fall in love at first sight dgn hotel ni. Cantik n bersih! Ade toilet hos, tv lcd yg byk gile channel, n pc with connection. Cons adelah agak sempit n tadek kettle. Kalo x nak sempit, bayarlaa lebih skit kan? 

Sbb flight aku mlm n aku tak ske nak packing2 di tengah2 lobi hotel n airport, aku amik late check out, so kena bayar additional vnd400,000. Berbaloi sbb aku rase selesa dpt kemas, n mandi n ade tpt solat yg proper before g airport.

Halal Restaurant

Kedai makanan halal kat sini banyak gak. Buat research siap2. N kalo ade handphone dgn gps lg senang. Ade lion city, VN Halal, Serai Restauran, Restoran Hj Halim. Harga makanan agak mahal. Dlm RM20 sorang sekali makan. Kedai2 halal serves Malaysian dishes dan ade gak Vietnamese dishes, portionnye agak byk dan rasenye pun sedap.

Tours

Kalo nak mencari tours yg murah kenala pegi berjalan2 n tanye at least 3 agents, supaya boleh dpt rough idea bape rate diorg. For us, kami cek online gak n lepas dah round 3 kedai n tawar menawar, kami dpt purchase 3 tours for USD 37.50 each, lebih kurang RM115 drp An Travel. Tp sbb agak tak cukup masa utk shopping, kitorg x dpt pegi city tours. N kalo diberi pilihan, better g city tours drp g mekong. Nonetheless, ini itineraries tours yg kitorg beli tu:

Half day Chu Chi Tunnel (recommended)

- pick up dr hotel kul 7.30 pg, tp kena menapak skit ke coaster

- 1 jam ++ ke chu chi tunnel, dgn persinggahan kat handicraft shop.

- Entrance fee tak termasuk skali, kena bayar vnd90,000

- tgk dokumentari, demonstrasi laluan ke tunnel, jenis2 trap, dan alami sendiri jalan dlm tunnel sepanjang 40m yg sempit dan gelap, (I survived that!) kalo korang claustrophobic dan faint hearted, jgn masuk!

- smp ben thanh market around 3 pm.

- mungkin agak boring bg sesetengah org. Tp menarik utk korang tau sendiri betapa susahnye masa zaman perang kat Vietnam dan juga boleh menjawab pelbagai persoalan yg ade mengenai viet com.

Water Puppet (recommended) dan Saigon cruise

- pick up dr hotel by taxi . Water puppet tu mmg best! Recommended. Basically a 30 minutes show yg cite pasal kehidupan di Vietnam. Tp kalo anak2 korang jenis tak ske patung pelik2 cam dlm video kat bawah nie, takyah laa kot.

- Saigon cruise best gak sbb first time aku naik cruise atas kapal besar, sambil berlayar dgr lagu instrumental dgn angin bertiup, mmg layan. Tp to tell you the truth, view nye so so je. So better skip n spend kat tpt lain.

Mekong Delta Tours

-pick up dr hotel kul 7.30 by coaster n tukar ke bas. Frankly speaking, tak ske bas tu, maybe sbb dpt seat yg tak best n leg room yg limited.

- perjalanan pegi 3 jam, balik 4 jam. Sgt memenatkan n pening kepala duk dlm bas yg tak bape sejuk tu.

- smp di port, kami naik bot yg besar, tgk floating market. Tp bukan mcm kat Bangkok, sbb ni cater for pemborong. N tak sesak langsung. Then kami singgah tgk proses pembuatan rice paper, poprice, coconut candy.

- then, kami naik sampan ke kedai makan. Best gak pengalaman nie. almaklumlaa budak bandar. Jakun kami amik2 gamba atas sampan. Besar gak sampan tu. boleh duduk dan hayati pemandangan dgn selesa

- kalo ade masa lebih, bolehlaa join tour nie. sbbnye makan masa satu hari. N kalo ade anak kecik, tak galakkan sgt, sbb aku pun tak selesa sgt, camne plak korang dgn anak2.

Spa

Kalo penat berjalan2, sini ade byk spa. Boleh tahan murah spa2 kat sini. Mase kat sini, aku pegi spa lemongrass dua kali. Foot massage n neck, shoulder massage. Impress dgn layanan dan deco spa yg simple tp menenangkan. 

Org bandar naik sampan. Jakun kejap! 

Shopping

Kalo korang nak tempah suits, baju kurung, jubah, blaus, dress, seluar aku cadangkan buat on the first day. Supaya korang ade masa utk fittings n supaya korang tak rasa frust sbb tak dpt tempah baju sbb kesuntukan masa.

Byk tailor di sekitar ben thanh market, tp unfortunately kami tak sempat nak ask around bape rega upah. Basically diorg siap dlm masa sehari. Kalo jubah tu, boleh siap dlm 3-4 jam je. (Seriously kalo pegi skali lg mmg aku akan tempah suits n blaus)

Operating hours ben thanh market 7pg-7mlm(sharp) . lepas tu ade ben thanh night market, dr 7.15 ke 12 mlm. Benda yg korang tak patut tak cuba adelah buah2 dia. Mmg sedap dan puas makan. Ciku, tembikai, pink guava sedap gile! Satu pek at usd1, mmg kena rip off skit kot. But kalo sedap n puas makan, takyah laa berkira sgt kot. 

Ape yg best kat ben thanh market? Kain chiffon, kain cotton silk, tshirt, ready made clothes, watches, handbag, wallet and even ade jual tv series box set yg murah! Kalo korang keabisan duit, leh tukar rm/usd to vnd kat money changer dlm tu. manelah tak gile memborong kan?

Tippings, Bargaining and Others

Tippings - Nak bagi tip atau tidak? Aku baca teknik bagi tip kat sini, tp byk gak kate jgn biasakan bagi tip kat diorg, nnt diorg expect tip tu wajib. For me is simple. Kalo servis bagus, bagi je seikhlas hati, kira mcm sedekah. J

Bargaining - Kalo nak bargain kena tegar k! mintak 70% dulu, baru naik skit2 smp korang rasa berbaloi utk dibeli. Sebelum shopping, plan dgn group nak beli ape, supaya korang boleh beli byk skali, which means boleh bargain utk dptkan harga lebih murah drp biasa. Note: pusing2 dulu tanye harga.jgn beli kat stall or kedai laluan utama ramai org unless die blh bg harga plg murah. explore stall yg dlm2 skit,kekadang leh dpt harga lebih murah n choices yg lebih cantik

Hard Rock Cafe - one more thing, kalo korang ske collect tshirt hrc, jgn lupe singgah hard rock café ho chi minh. Naik teksi dlm vnd 27,000 dr ben thanh market.

Last but not least, kalo korang penggemar kopi tegar, jgn lupe borong kopi. Org kate kopi kat sini sedap. Aku no komen. Kafein kopi bikin kepala ni upside down! ;p

1d 2n Penang

Sue - Mastermind

roadtrip nie dah dirancang awal julai. tp sbb perhimpunan bersih, kami terpaksa delaykan, kerana bantahan keras dr bondaku tercinta. pas tgk jadual. tggl weekend terakhir b4 puasa je yg kami free (kami = aku + sue). tu pun aku terpakse korbankan skit sogo member's sale. tak dpt nak all out laa..heheh

tp alkisahnye, pada pagi sabtu tu, aku sempatlaa g sogo member's sale. smp around 10 am dan sungguh terkejut dgn kesesakan luar biasa kat jalan tar tu. first time aku tgk jalan tar jam seawal pukul 10 pg! maybe itu petanda rakyat mesia nie sbnrnye byk duit sbnrnye. aku pusing2 cari handbag satu, kasut satu n few shirts. dh dpt terus cek out. tak kuasa..ramai gile2 umat dlm sogo tuh! mau pengsan berasak2 dgn diorg.

Yeay!! Penang Bridge!

dr sogo kami memulakan perjalanan ke penang. ade laa 2-3 stops. isi minyak dan beli jajan. memandangkan mak long aku sibuk berpolitik, kami tk dpt nak menumpang tido kat umah die, so kami pun gamble laa terus ke batu feringghi. as expected, most of the hotel, tggl yg mahal2 saje. setakat nak tido se malam je, buat pe yg mahal2. akhirnye kitorg decide nak tido kat Lazyboy travelodge je. ala2 backpackers hostel, kat belakang happy mart. mase tu ade lagi 3 jenis bilik. RM50(bilik air luar), rm70(bilik air dlm) n rm150 (tak tgk yg nie). kami amik rm70. bilik sempoi je. toiletries kena bawa/beli sendri. tak kisahlaa..nak mandi n tido je.

Pasembur di Padang Kota Lama

pas refreshed, kami mencari mkn. lapar gile kot.1st stop, nasi kandar subaidah kat tepi jalan tokong. nie mmg port biasa makan nasi kandar. tak sesedap dulu, tp still feel lain dr makan kat kl. pas dah tak kebulur sgt dah, kami gerak ke padang kota lama utk misi pasembur. agak rugi pegi sane pas baru makan nasi kandar, sbb pas makan pasembur dan sotong kangkung, kitorg dah serender.

so, kitorg baliklaa ke pasar mlm batu feringhi. jalan2 cuci mata, ringankan purse. kami sebenarnye tercari2 satu gerai tu tp tak terjumpe.so jadiknye, terbeli benda lain. aku beli cekak bling2 dan satu lagi handbag . alkisahnye aku tanak beli handbag tu. sbb mahal! aku tanye je memula tu. pastu seller tu demo laa tuang minyak n bakar bag tu utk prove bag to leather ori. then aku cakap, takpela, then die cam sgt persistent nak jual bag tu kat aku. siap tanye bp aku leh offer. takut weh!! last2 aku cakap aku ade rm100 je. so die jual bag tu rm100 je kat aku. siap kate takan ade org jual ori leather at that price, n tunjuk buku sale die. n siap pesan len kali dtg beli kat die. sorilaa bro..aku dah blacklist ko..scaryyy..

pas abis usha2 pasar tu, kami pegi berurut kat kedai urut depan pasar tu. kirenye pengalaman pertama aku diurut. kalo urut kaki RM25 utk setengah jam. sedap gak kakak tu urut, siap borak2 wat lawak lagi. mmg relax. pastu aku tambah rm35 utk setengah jam, urut leher , shoulder n back. yg nie pun best, cume tak best bile die urut bahu, nak terjerit aku. sakit gile dua2 belah bahu. katenye urat kat situ tak betul, silap haribulan nnt tak larat nak angkat tgn. 

Jeruk Salak, Jeruk Kelubi, Jeruk Mangga

hari kedua, pas cek out, kitorg mencari nasi kandar line clear. nie 1st time aku pegi. tatau plak dekat dgn chow rasta. kali nie makan bermewah skit. bkn sengaja nak bermewah, tp harga kat situ mmg mahal skit. mmg sedap. tp aku rase nasi kandar beratur lg sedap. aku rase jelaa, sbb aku dh lame tak rase nasi kandar tu, last aku makan pun 2 tahun lepas. dpt je nasi kami yg dah lapa gile, makan dgn lajunye, tanpa berkata pape.

Cendol Pulut yg heaven..tp hell for the diabetic

last mission adelah mencari jeruk. nie mission sue. aku amik gamba je. dh borong 2-3 jenis jeruk, kami beli cendol pulut yg manisssss tp sedappp!! aku pun sempat laa tapau cucur udang kat belakang chow rasta tu (as usual sedap spt dulu). pas dh dpt ape yg dicari, kami pun berangkat pulang ke KL. bye2 penang! Nway, thanks to Sue sbb sudi ajak aku merayau2 di penang.

 

WE WalkeD SeouL - Day 2

maybe sbb kaki terkejut pas seharian berjalan, kami agak liat nak bangun n bersiap pada hari kedua. kat sini, tp berjaya gak bangun n bersiap smbl bekfas. nway, mknn ruji kami adalah roti dan megi (esp roti yg ditoast dan dispread dgn jam strawberi yg sgt sedap! tetibe rindu plak nak makan.) nak guna periuk rase was2 plak, manelah taukan kalo diorg ade masak/panaskan mknn berunsurkan b**i dlm tuh.

plan harinie adelah hanok village + changing guard ceremony + hi seoul festival. bila naik tren, mcm pelik plak tgk org cam ramai semacam, rupenye haritu public holiday - Children's Day, so subway penuh dgn family yg pegi beriadah. n kebetulan plak celebration children's day was held at the hanok village, sooo sgt meriah (+bising) laa sepanjang kami kat situ. tp tak kisahlaa as long tpt tu tak tutup for tourist like us.

fyi, hanok village nie adelah satu kawasan perkampungan zaman Joseon yg terdiri drpd 5 rumah. so diorg restored umah2 nie so that the generations zaman moden leh tau adat n cara hidup dulu. kat hanok village ade byk aktiviti yg kite boleh buat; belaja upacara minum teh, belaja tulisan hangul, try pakai hanbok (pakaian tradisional korea) and others, tp our main objective is to wear the hanbok pas bayar krw3,000 each kami pun mulala aktiviti pakai hanbok, senang je pakai hanbok nie rupenye. cantik plak tu, hehe, pas dah pakai tu mmg sakan gile laaa kami sume bergamba! bergamba ala2 dlm istana, gamba tepi tingkap laa, gamba mengadap sanggong ala2 mcm dlm Dong Yi & Dae Jang Geum, u name it laa mcm2 posing ada. (note: antara aktiviti paling best n must do in seoul)

memandangkan kitorg dah termiss royal guard changing ceremony semalam, so kami decide nak tgk ptg harini, tp kat palace lain; Deoksugung. timing kitorg just nice. pas beli tiket, jalan kejap dlm kawasan istana, the ceremony pun bermula. ske tgk the procession, colourful n ade traditional music and sumthing differentlaa kan dgn ape yg ade kat negara sendri.

once the ceremony ended, kami sambung tour istana n then gerak ke Korea Tourism(nearby Gwanghamun Station)  utk mencari tpt solat. but from there kitorg kena menapak lagi smp ke hq Korea Tourism. Rase lega dpt jumpe tpt solat yg proper, just leceh skit tang tpt amik wudu' sbb diorg kan tak pakai hos. mase kat sinilaa kitorg belaja sumthing, kalo nak amik wudu' or membuang, better gune disable punye toilet, sbb senang dekat dgn sinki (senang nak refill air dlm botol, sbb toilet kat sana tadek paip air) nway ofis tourism nie cantik gak, siap ade full scale gamba k-star (such as Rain) so sempat gakla bebudak nie berangan amik gamba ngan artis2 korea. hehe

 solat dah, recaj pun dah, so marilah ke hi seoul festival kat yeuido. sblm masuk dlm, kami igt nak lalu jalan ade pokok sakura, tp bile ditanya org kat situ, diorg kate dah tadek kot (sbb masa tu dah akhir musim bunga). so kansel plan, tp b4 masuk kami round2 cari kedai ade air panas, sbb nk mkn megi..sesambil tu tgk makanan dijual penjaja, agak terliur tgk spicy rice cake diorg, tp terus ilang selera bile tgk daging b**i yg dijual bersebelahannya. tp yg paling menusuk idung adalah kepompong ulat sutera yg digoreng utk dimakan. maybelaa halal. tp camne diorg boleh makan??

so, pas makan2 n jalan2 tgk hangang river, kami tgk laa the event. dimulakan dgn show acrobatic berani mati. mmg menggerunkan. tp pas tgk punya tgk, rase bosan plak, dan mule bertanya diri sendri, bilelaa nak abis, nape tadek org lain perform. rupe2nye itu opening ceremony je. so pas persembahan akrobatik tu abis, terus fireworks display yg sgt cantik..yg buatkan kami..wow and wah...

igtkan pastu nak cari periuk di dept store kat situ, so kami pun berjalanlaa menyusuri jalan2 yg stranger disitu. siap lalu tepi MBC (sambil berangan, alangkah bestnye kalo tetibe Eric Mun lalu kat situ), alih2 dah gelap dah kedai tu. so sudah2laa tu berjalan, bawaklaa balik hostel n tido. sbb esok kena bangun awal..sbb nak pegi EVERLAND!! yippee!

dah lame dirancang, tp sbb ongkos tiketnya mahal, kami tangguhkan dulu..smp air asia X announce their new route. so instead of paying almost RM2k for return ticket (naik MAS or Korean Air), we only have to pay RM850 for the return ticket to Air Asia X. So, why Seoul? 1. kami adalah big fan of Kdrama n Kpop 2. seoul is a beautiful city..

Flight took about 6 hrs 30 min (quite a bumpy journey we had) we reached seoul sumwhere at 9++ pm (malaysia baru kul 8++) . that nite, kitorg tido at a hostel nearby the airport. the rate for 1 nite is KRW22,000 (RM66), bahagi 4 org, around RM15++..murah kan? Btw, from the airport, ade org dr hostel tu pick up kami. memule masa dlm airport rase biasa je, once dh kuar - kesejukan! (max temp 18 celcius, min 7 celcius). nielah rupe tpt kami tido mase 1st nite at seoul:

the 2nd day, kami check out. our destination is the pencil guesthouse at hongdae (kami akan berkampung disini).kami naik mrt die incheon airport, dlm 50 minit perjalanan n smp ke stesen hong-ik univ. hostelnye senang je nk cari, tp 1st time, sah2laa kena bersesat2 dahulu. terkuar exit salah, nasib baik ade minah korea nie tolong tunjuk jalan, pencil guesthouse nie around 5-7 minutes je dr stesen.smp je kat sana kami disambut oleh staff disitu, his name is DJ, friendly n agak fluent in english (penting nie, senang nak communicate).

pas bayar remaining duit bilik (KRW 110,000 each) kami check in ke bilik. tak besar mana, tp comfy(comforter) n ade privacy! bilik airnye kena sharing, no problem, as the bathroom is clean, just a matter of queueing la..this our room:

dah check in, dah recharge energy, so kami memulakan pengembaraan di seoul. plan harinie adelah melawat istana Gyeongbokgung, nak tgk royal guard changing ceremony dan naik seoul tower. so for that kitorg decide nak naik seoul city tour bus, KRW10,000 each, bus nie jenis hop on hop off. cover around 20 tourist destination at seoul.

kat seoul, the main mode of transportation is the subway, buses and legs. (we did very extensive walking here). so mmg penting utk dptkan map subway considering ade lebih kurang 9 subway line overlapping each other! minimum fare is 1,000 won, tp kalo gune T Money (ala2 touch n go, can be purchased for 3,000 won(not refundable) at the vending machine) leh jimat 100 won. dr hongdae kami ke stesen gwanghamun, bus stop for the seoul city tour bus. pas byr tiket, kami dpt beberapa keping kupon dan juge map, bus tu gak equip with digital guide in 6 languages.

1st stop is itaewon. sini syurga makanan halal. kedai daging halal, masjid, restoran halal boleh jumpe kat sini. tujuan utama adelah nak solat jamak siap2, tp mmg jenuh gaklaa mendaki bukit ke masjid tu, pas solat kami makan tengahari, iaitu pilaf rice (KRW6,500 each), fyi that was the 1st and last meat dish kitorg makan kat seoul.(sbb mknn ruji diorg adelah nasi dan pork, so faham2 jelaa kesusahan mencari yg halal)

by the time kami abis mkn dh agak petang, so sambung perjalanan ke istana, bajet nak tgk ceremony, tp rupenye jauh gak bas tu pusing2 b4 smp palace. sah2laa kami terlepas show tu, n dpt less than 1 hr before palace tutup. mmg speed gile kitorg pusing palace, smp kena halau dgn guard disitu, sbb dah nak tutup.

wpun x cukup masa, gamba still byk gak

walaupun x puas jalan dlm palace, tp syukur dpt gak jejak kaki kat situ akhirnya. pas guard dah bising2, kami pun gerak  laa balik, tp bukan balik ke umah, kami balik ke bus stand, sbb ade satu lagi destinasi; seoul tower atau lebih dikenali sbg namsan tower. timing agak ngam2 je; sempat naik bas n tggu bas tu pusing for the last trip of the day. by the time kami smp di kaki bukit, dah gelap n SEJUK!! pas ilek2 jap kami pun daki laa naik atas, n beratur beli tiket. selain drp tower, ade teddy bear museum gak. tp x perlu kot nak masuk, simpan utk trip ke cheju island nnt. b4 naik kami round2 dulu, amik 20-30 keping gamba dulu baru naik atas. mase tu laa terjumpe pokok mangga nie. bukan mangga yg boleh dimakan, tp mangga utk kunci umah tu..hehe.. kononnye diorg kunci cinta diorg kat situ.hehe..

n last but not least, gamba di namsan tower. mmg cantik view dr sini, korang yg lovey dovey pun leh anta love letter dr sini, cute heh? anta dr peti pos tertinggi dunia.. pas abis pusing2 kami balik naik cable car, tadeklaa best mane pun, baik jalan kaki turun bawah je, sbb masa kami naik penuh, so tak dpt menikmati night view, (yours truly igtkan cable car nie naik skit2, upenye ala2 tram) dr cable car station, kitorg menapak ke nearest subway station, seb baik cuaca nye nyaman je, kalo tghari panas terik, ampunlaaa...tak rela..

10 fakta menarik tentang aku dan S E O U L

Seoul at night

1 - aku n 3 rakan2 aku dah ade confirmed tiket utk ke seoul awal bulan 5 nie
2 - tiket pegi balik + makan atas flight + skybus utk ke seoul hanyalah rm800++ saja (murahkan? thanx to Air Asia!)
3 - kami tidak bercadang menggunakan khidmat agen pelancongan sepenuhnya. kononnye nak backpacking la.
4 - pulau jeju adalah antara senarai tempat yang mesti dikunjungi dlm jadual perjalanan kami
5 - kami akan berada disana selama 8hari 6mlm. lame kan? lame kan? (bos aku tension je tgk borang cuti aku, tp kalo tak bagi cuti, aku resign 24 hours. kononnye la!)
6 - kami bercadang nak tido di hotel murah saja. yang kami dah survey lebih kurang dlm RM400 sorang utk 8hari 6malam tu.
7 - kami bajet dlm 2k++ utk perbelanjaan kami disana (penginapan + jalan2)
8 - aku baru menyimpan mulai bulan ini (semoga sempat. kalo tak sempat kad ade)
9 - aku hampir2 tak dpt pegi sbb big boss tak bagi cuti. katenye takut assignment skang tak siap lagi. skali lagi aku tekan kan. aku leh je resign kalo die berdegil (bajet staff in high demand laa nie)
10 - utk merakam detik2 di seoul, aku nak beli kamera nie.. Kodak Easyshare Max , tp tatau beli akan ade kat Malaysia. kalo korang dpt sebarang berite, bgtaulaa kome ye!

Penang Trip Day 3 & 4

Aku bangun awal pagi nie. Igt nak jejalan tepi pantai dgn Rina n Fatin. Tp diorg still diulit mimpi. So, aku jalan sorang2. Tenang bile jalan sorang2 menikmati pemandangan n angin pagi tepi pantai. Took some pictures n naik atas. Azhar pagi2 dah menghantar his in law ke jeti. Diorg nak g naik ketapi ke Taiping, sambung bercuti berduaan di sane(dah di usia emas..tp still romantic..) around 12, kami gerak ke butterfly farm. Dr umah P*etronas tu tak jauh mane pun, dlm 10km kot. Entrance fee for adult with mykad – RM10 sorang. Mahal? Tak. Berbaloi2. masuk2 je rase cam dlm fantasi..byk gile rama2. n dr mcm2 species. Selain rama2, ade scorpion pit, iguana, beetles, duck n byk section. Sbb kitorg nak cepat, agak fast forward laa berjalan2 kat situ. Nway, rina still sempat beli sedikit cenderamata kat sane.

Dari butterfly farm, kami ke nasi kandar siti subaidah (again? Nk wat camne, nie kedai terdekat kitorg dpt jumpe) harini amik lauk len skit. Takleh reveal(sbb aku mmg dh lapar tahap nak gastric dah) bertiga =rm27. Then kami menuju ke Sik@Kedah. Nak bawak fatin jumpe moyang die. (Fatin nie siap ade piut lagi). Jauh ke dalam upenye kg Azhar nie. By the time kitorg smp, tgh ujan lebat. Seronok tgk pelbagai generasi berkumpul bersama n berborak.Murah betul rezeki haritu, kami dijamu buah2an (antaranye buah unik; buah keranji. Rase berserbuk asam boi) mihun goreng yg sedap.(kitorg nie mmg betul2 jalan2 cari makan nie) dan nasi kukus ayam goreng berempah (nie nasi kukus terbaik aku penah makan..nasi die je mmg lain laa).

Kul 8 mlm kitorg gerak balik ke pulau. Sempat singgah di padang kota lama. Makan kerang bakar n air kelapa, tapau pasembur utk bfast. Shopping cenderamata kat pasar malam batu feringhi while azhar pegi berurut kaki.

Pagi terakhir, aku, Rina n Fatin g tepi pantai. Sesi main2 n amik gamba. Fatin still takut dgn air pantai. After few attempts to lure her to play beside the seaside tak bape menjadi gak, kitorg gerak g swimming pool. Dgn pelampung spongebob tu, memule si kenit nie takut2 gak. Tak lame lepas tu, die dah ok. N hepi. Aku yg mule malu2 kucing, last2 join terjun n main gelongsor air. Best!

Pas packing2 kitorg cek out. Nak g tropical spice garden. Tp ujan. Maybe next trip? Kami cari makan di tgh Bandar penang. Dah puas makan nasi. Aku mkn mee bandung n abc. Then, kami ke kamunting Taiping utk amik ayah n mak rina. Pegi ke Taiping ketika hujan, bring back memories of Mr. KA.:p. Kami berhenti kat R&R Sg Perak nak cari buah jambu, tp tadek. Smp kat Tapah, mkan malam n borong jambu utk mak. Beli pau utk my own bfast n lunch tmr. Dan..Baskin & Robbin (mint choc chip with choc sauce n peanut..sooooo yummy)..bak kate rina, alang2 dah melantak mcm2..biarlaa makan betul2..indeed..that was very sweet conclusion of our 4d 3n trip to penang.

Jalan2 Cari Makan Penang Day 2

slps bersiap2, kitorg sume pegi ke kedai tayar Michelin. Utk menukar tayar. First, diorg cek which sides of tayar yg bocor. Rupenye side tepi, thus nak tanak kenalaa tukar.Pas tawar menawar n both sides agreed with the final price, keja memasang tayar baru pun bermula. As the work progressed, diorg pun check for the rest of the tyres, n rupenye, ade satu lagi tayar yg bocor tepi. Then, this had triggered us that, maybe nie keja sumone at the g*urney drive. Teorinye, kitorg park depan umah org (tp tak block keta kuar masuk). Then, org jaga parking situ bengang sbb tak dpt nak caj kitorg tiket sbb bukan kat petak parking. So diorg pun did something kat dua2 belah tayar belah kiri (spy org len tak nampak).kalo org kat parking night market yg buat, it will take sometimes utk tayar tu pancit. Entah pape tah. Akibatnye, ayah Rina kena tukar sume tayar, which cost a lot! Yelaa, tukar tayar keta ferari kan?

Abis tukar tayar, kitorg terus ke jeti. YeY! Kitorg akan g seberang naik feri! It had been like 6 years since the last time aku naik feri.Fyi, kalo naik feri g seberang, it cost u nothing. But kalo dr seberang ke pulau, it will be RM7.70 per car. The ride took about 15-20 minutes. Too bad fatin tido. Maybe die tgh kumpul energy utk hari yg penuh aktiviti tu. But the rest of us; me, rina n azhar – sibuk bergamba n menikmati angin laut.Refreshing!

Smp je seberang perai, n kawan ayah rina dtg menjemput(her dad ade gathering) kitorg sume memulekan aktiviti mencari brunch. There, kitorg jumpe siti subaidah nasi kandar. Our first trip to nasi kandar outlet. By that time, Fatin dah terjaga n excited nak makan nasi kandar gak. I took ½ portion of nasi tomato n cari chicken breast. With fresh orange. Rina plak hepi bile jumpe telur ikan.sedap! mmg lain laa dr kl punye. Kitorg ber 4 makan – RM34++..agak murah tu..

Energy dah ade, next destination, Kampung aku@Kg Masjid Baru Sg Bakap. Sbb dah 6 tahun tak balik, aku mmg tak konfiden langsung yg aku still igt jalan. Mesti dah byk development kat situ kan? So utk hampir 30 minit kitorg sesat nak mencari tol menghala ke kl. Kesian n cuak gak aku tgk azhar. Takut die marah. Kesian sbb penatlaa drive kalo tak pasti hala tuju. But the thing is aku sendri tak dpt nak figure out as the signboard wasn’t helping at all. Alhamdulillah, berjaya gak sampai ke tol. We exit at Bkt Tambun, n then from there I was on the phone with my cousin asking for guide. Last2 smp gak. Mmg tak dpt nak describe, betapa bestnye bau kg! tp aku terkejut tgk umah arwah tok wan terbiar n penuh lalang.(I wish I could do something about this.Which I will do something when I got enough saving)

Sampai je, Mak long aku perli “takyah laa balik kg pas nie” as expected. Hehe. Happy to see them n the house too. Mak long jamu kitorg dgn cendol pulut n kuih raya(Rina seemed like enjoying the kueh raya) Aku layan cendol je. Before that kitorg sebuk cek hasil belian kat pasar malam smlm. N pastu azhar n rina bergoogle map using the celcom broadband yg laju kat situ. Mak rina sibuk berborak ngan Mak Long. Aku pulak sibuk mengejar fatin yg ligat main kat tangga.(budak tgh nak belajar berjalan laa katakan) b4 balik, aku amiklaa 2-3 keping gamba umah arwah tok wan.

Mission utama nak jumpe mak long dah setel. Misi seterusnye, g amik ayah rina kat jeti feri. So, kitorg balik ke pulau. Destinasi seterusnye – Pasar Chowrasta kat Penang Road. Kitorg nak mencari jeruk2 utk dibawa balik. Mmg byk jenis jeruk ade. My favourite – Salak madu n Asam Kelubi. Mashyuk!. So pas aku try taste aneka jeruk kat situ. Aku bungkus laa 3-4 jenis jeruk. Buah pala utk mak. Mangga utk adik. Salak n kelubi utk aku. Sumenye less than rm10. pas borong jeruk, kitorg mkn ptg kat warung tepi pasar chowrasta. Aku minum air sirap special(kelapa+sirap+telur katak+eskem soda). N mkan cucur udang yg sgtttt sedap. Lelain makan laksa (aku teringin gak nak mkn..tp memandangkan laksa adelaa agen pencernaan aku, aku terpaksa lupekan).

Sume dah kepenatan. Balik2 je terus tido. Around 10pm baru kuar mencari makan. Tp yg kuar nye; aku, rina n azhar. Kitorg cari Nasi Kandar Beratur.kalo tadek baru g padang kota lama. Tp mmg kitorg jumpe.(Betul2 tepi masjid kapitan keling) Dtg2 dah ramai beratur. Sbbnye; kedai nie terkenal, mknn sedap n hanya buka pada 10 mlm ke atas.(sorry to my personal n public trainer, terpaksa makan nasi waktu mlm) my choice-nasi separuh,ayam chicken breast, kuah rendang, timun n telur dadar n sirap limau. Slurrpp..mkn laju je.sbb sedap. Pas dah nak abis makan tu, adelaa sorang pakcik ni dtg berpantun. Memule buat bodoh je. Tp best plak pantun die.(sbb pantun die cam melibatkan kitorg skali) rina pun bglaa upah kat pakcik tu. We ended up hearing 4 rangkap pantun drpd pakcik tu b4 die dihalau.

Pas makan nasi kandar, kitorg cari polarized lens n lampu2 utk dijadikan cenderamata. Aku? Aku sibuk bergamba dgn lampu2.

Walk2 Search Food @ Penang Day 1

you know..we can only plan..but the rest..is up to Allah..well that was exactly happened to our Penang Trip..initially mawar had agreed to join the trip..but due to some last minute arrangement (which frankly had made me feel so frustrated and with a bit of anger), she had to pass the trip..(nway..i just let this go..as it was for good reason and i shud have expected this)..as she wasnt going..i was pretty sure that i wont be going too..as it was quite impossible to fit 5 of us with a car seat in a persona..but then, after discussion, rina n azhar decided it was ok to leave the car seat at home, however, we have to take turn to hold fatin..which was not a big deal at all as who doesnt love that cute adorable lil gal?

so on friday, around 12pm, rina n family fetched me..as it was eve of deepavali, the road was a bit jam packed with ppl going back to hometown and also due to minor accident..we exit at rawang toll..n had our lunch at tapah R&R..Fatin hardly fall asleep during the trip..might be she was over excited with her first trip to Penang plus not having her car seat kinda made her sleeping process a bit harder than usual..we reached penang at almost 6pm..our accomodation was at Rumah Peranginan Pe*tronas..the apartment unit was big, equipped with basic kitchen utensils..unfortunately, it was at 4th floor..though it was tough for us to walk up n down, but look at the bright side! that was the best form of exercise that we could possibly need for all the nasi kandar n delicacies that we will consumed later..

that nite, we had our dinner at gurney drive..we had char kuew teow@RM3 per plate, pasembur(a mix of various kind of fritters + cuttlefish +with sliced cucumber and sengkuang in spicy special peanut sauce)@RM20 (price varies, depending on what you pick n mix)..and sotong kangkung@RM6 per plate while fatin ate mihun sup..the food might be a bit over priced..but it still within our budget..

our next stop was the night market at batu feringhi..it was a long strech of night market at just one side of the road..what you can find at the market? cheap bag,souveniers,tshirts, and lots2 of good things..heheh..we bought few..and decided to call it a day after buying a pelampung for fatin..then the unexpected things happened..the front tyre had been punctured..luckilly there is spare tyre and two tough men to save the day..we had few speculations over how the tyre had been punctured..1st-maybe to some unknown sharp things laid over the road..2nd-someone at the parking lot did that..3rd-someone at the gurney drive did that(this was the most possible reason) . .want to know why? wait for the 2nd day journal . .

Kembara Cendol Part 2

After freshen up and prayed, I lie on the bed while browsing thru the Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows hoping that I will be slowly deprived into sleep while reading it. eventually, I was a bit worried (more to scared), as I had to sleep alone in the room where the bed was just beside the window. So, I slept with the lights on, with the yaasin book beside me and few times terjaga all the night. I only managed to fall into deep sleep after the subuh.

Woke up around 8. rina had already woke up. She was lying on the sofa while watching the astro. She told me that she had a stomach ache. As both of us had been eating the same thing since yesterday morning, and I didn’t experience any mild diarrhea or stomach pain, I assumed that this might be due to improper meal time which cause gas in the stomach. Soon, everybody had woke up, even the little one, Fatin. Fatin will wake up whenever her parents are awake (dunno whether this is good thing or other wise) azhar n kimi bought some roti canai at ridiculously cheap price but good enough to be our bfast for that morning. 1 hour later, all were dressed up and packed up ready to check out to our last destination. Before our departure, the homestay owner had captured few pictures of us to be uploaded into their blog later.

2^nd last destination, was the historical building at melaka. Frankly, I didn’t bother about what the place was called and what is was used to be before, as my main focus was to take tones of pictures. Indeed, supplied with 3 cameras (1 kodak+1 sony+1 sony dslr) I bet there were soooo many pictures! What I can recall is that, I climbed up&down lots of stairs till I gave up on my primavera wedges and changed into the comfy cheap slipper.

The day was getting hotter and Fatin started to cry once in a while with the fact that she refused to wear the cap, though there still a lot of place to jalan2, I think we had enough. We had our lunch at jonker 88 again! This time around I ate the mango ice kacang (drooling!) and nasi lemak sambal udang (just ignored this pls! ) while the rest opted for durian cendol+cendol+laksa asam+nasi lemak rendang. Finished eating around 3 p.m. and now time to go home (so sad, why good thing ended fast?)

So, overall, I’d spent: RM30 (accommodation), RM26 (seafood), RM8.70(late lunch at McD) RM69.90 (blouse) RM1.70(ice kacang), RM6.20(mango ice kacang n nasi lemak) = RM 142.50..(not incl toll and petrol) ..for 2d/1n at melaka..murahlaa tu!

Ikan Bakar Muara Sg Duyong Part 1

Our main mission: Ikan Bakar at Muara Sungai Duyong, cendol@jonker street..
Project member consisted of kimi, izma (mastermind ni), rina, azhar, fatin (org melaka yg pura2 jadi pelancong) and me (jonker walk’s addict)

The journey started on Saturday morning when Rina n Azhar fetched me at home. It took us around 2++ hours to reached Ayer Keroh, Melaka, From the toll, we headed to the Jafmanurin’s homestay which located not far from the MITC. The homestay was an apartment of 3 bedroom with 2 bathroom. It cost us around RM150 per night and it worth it as we really felt like we at home at the homestay.

Next destination was late lunch at Mc Donald Taman Buaya. After much consideration and thought (calories and price) I ate the regular mcd chicken and sundae cone top choc. It was still too early for dinner at Sungai Duyong, so we went to the Jonker Walk for a stroll and cendol. I, who was on mission to buy at least one printed, dress/blouse straight away wandering the street looking for the shop and I was so delighted when I find the shop! (Of course I ended up buying a red floral printed blouse..;p)

To satisfy our thirst, we bought cendol and ice kacang at Jonker 88. This was my 2nd time there, but this was the 1st time for rina+azhar+kimi+izma. So, I was not too overwhelmed with the taste of the ice kacang n its gula melaka. The rest otherwise were drooling over the cendol. So far, this was the best abc and cendol I’d ever eaten. The ice was so smooth and the thickness of gula melaka was such a good complement to each other! (too yummy..till we decided for another trip tomorrow)

The restaurant was located further inside nearby the Sungai Duyong. From the jonker walk, it took around 10 minutes to reach there. By the time we reached there, around 7pm, the place had been crowded with ppl, we managed to spot a place nearby the river. It was advised (based on Kimi and Izma’s experience, to not to seat nearby the walls, try to find a place nearby the river or with fans, so that you wont be having bad ventilation problem while savouring the seafood later)

We then hand picked ourself the seafood for our dinner. I joined Rina and Izma for a while, but as I was 1st time there and unsure of what to eat I just left the decision up to them. So, we ordered; one jug of fresh orange and lime ice, siakap bakar cili, ketam masak cili, pepahat masak serai and halia kot, kepah masak sweet sour, garlic and buttered prawn, sotong goring tepung and last but not least the kalian ikan masin. Sounds too much rite? But aint too much for us, as we slowly savouring the dishes till nothing left except the shell and bones! Btw, while waiting for the food, I can’t help to notice of how fast the waiter cleans up the table. once the customer leaves the table a group of 4-5 youngster will head to the table with broom, dustpan, wiping cloth and basin to put all the plates, jugs and others. These fasten up the process, which within 2-3 minutes the table is ready for the next customer. Beside having the seafood, we also had the tauhu bakar. While rina+azhar n izma+kimi had nasi lemak. Since we still had unfilled compartment, we ordered for otak2 as our dessert. This otak2 were good too. It was hot and when you tasted it you’ll know that the seafood used was fresh. Everything had been eaten, next was the payment. For all of what we had ordered, it cost us RM 131 (murah tak? Murah kan?)

pepahat masak halia - the 1st one i ate had pasir inside it..so i tried the second one, ok plak. however the 3rd one ade a bit pasir..soo who's up to the adventure bolehlaa try.

siakap bakar - the fish meat sgt lembut n membuka selera.. maybe becoz it was fresh from the sea..

ketam masak cili - spicy and such and adventure to eat for my teeth(nasib baik ketam tu byk isi, else sia2 laa gigit bagai nak rak)..sampai tudung pun ikut makan skali..

kepah sweet sour - yummy..kepah die besar2..so i was lost of count how much i ate it..

garlic buttered prawn - not too oily and the prawns were big and such a heaven for prawn lover's like me

sotong goreng tepung - not oily at all..very crunchy..nyum2 nyum2..

The day hadn’t over yet. After dinner, we hit the MBMB park. The trees in blue and white colours, made a nice spot for taking lots of photos during the nite. There was also small fountain which brings lots of joy to the kids and of course fatin loves it too. Tired and full, we went back to the apartment for a good nite sleep. Can’t wait for the next day; we had another two mission tomorrow!

Pre bday celebration - 3rd jan

Whereto: Alor gajah @ Melaka
Main objective: Attend Faris@ cheCkmate 's kenduri
Supplementary objectives: Checking out the Jonker's Street in baju kurung..hahahah

we all thought that from ayer keroh toll it would only took less than 30 minutes to reach his house..but eventually we only reached there 1 hr later..nway..it had been hujan renyai2 all the way..had our lunch at the kenduri and watch the 'havoc'ness of the photography session..Faris's mum was sooo sporting and cool..watching all their relatives berebut2 posing mmg priceless and a bit heartwarming too..from there..we headed to jonker street..and as usual as 1st timer..we got lost..but not for so long..we managed to find the place..take note on this..we reached there around 2.30 kot..we were really enjoying our jln2 at jonker's street till the extend..we singgah at most of the shop there except for the shop selling antiques(takut)..bought 2 sequin t-shirt for RM20+bought 2 cute lanyard for RM5+bought a slipper for RM5(pas jln for more than 2 hrs in heel, i really cannot take it anymore)..then..we had our tea break at hawker 88..sedapnyeeee ice kacang n cendol die..plus ade extra gula melaka for those who wanted to add more sweetness in their desserts..continue our jalan2 until 6.30 pm..wahhhhh..almost 4 hrs @ jonker street..
on the way back..drop by at masjid al-azim..cantik masjid nie..persekitaran pun sgt mengalu2kan jemaah..facility pun bagus..had our dinner at a&w (ikut bday girl punye wishes..tq gals!)..smpt last minute shopping at al-ikhsan..grabbed a reebok pink jersey @rm25..yeah..we really had a big blast pre bday celebration..tq mawar and shon!!

Last trip of 2008 - KL - Kulim - Penang - KL

Tourists: me(co-driver separuh jln)+amira(cik pemandu comel)+jamie (penumpang separuh jln)+berg(part time pemandu) p/s: arfah n beau + jamie's fren pun join tp kat kulim sana

Departure time : 26th Dec sumwhere around 11.30 ..(bajet kul 10..tp pepaham jelaa..ade yg terkuar lmbt..ade yg kena jemput kat umah laa..ade mcm2 laaa)

R&R : Tapah..agak ramai org..almaklumlaa cuti panjang..but good thing is that..toilet byk n still in clean condition..tp makann agak mahal laaa..

Arrival time: around 4.10 p.m@Kulim..cepat2 check in kat seri malaysia..(gara2 tersilap info..kitorg terketuk salah bilik..sib baik tadek org bukak)..siap2 ke...

1st Destination: nikah pn. sarah(yg dh sgt kurus drp dulu..nie nak kena mintak petua nie) n en. fariz@masjid yg berdekatan dgn umah die..skali lafaz..not bad2..tp mak aihhhh..photographernye lebih dr 10 org..berflash2 dkt masjid..sah2laa kami pun join bergamba

2nd destination: umah pn sarah..mkn petang..yummynye kuih seri muka n rojak n apam gula hangus..kalo awal skit sure dpt makan pulut panggang..heheh :p

3rd destination: malam tu..menuju ke pulau pinang..teringin nak tgk view pulau kala malam..sempat sesat ok! (bukan sesat..bersiar2 ditpt yg tak sepatutnya)..akhirnye pas puas pusing2..kami jumpe jambatan..sampai je..padang kota laaaa..mengadap sotong 2 rasa(2 rasa = 1 sotong basah ngan kangkung n petis , 1 sotong kering yg berbau kuat tu), kerang bakar, char kuew teow (tq mat lan!), and pasembur (tq berg!)..burp..alhamdulillah..rezeki murah..

4th destination: pasar mlm bt feringhi..agak jauh dr padang kota..kami jalan2 tgk beraneka barang murah+pirated..n i'm so happy sbb dh dpt brg yg dicari berbulan2..kul 12 lebih kot br balik hotel

5th destination: breakfast at mamak ape tah..boleh tahan laa..tp nampak damai je makan kat situ..nway time nie..sume sibuk testing2 camera..sampai ade camera slmt makan dalca..seb baik berjaya diselamatkan..

6th destination: check out..all dressep up..took few pictures(bukti yg kitorg g kulim)..n headed to sarah's house..timing ok punye..pengantin in blue dah smp..tadek sanding2..tp makan tu yg lame..then amik gamba..cheese!

7th destination: on the way back to kl..sggh solat kat rnr simpang pulai..makan ptg..pastu tapau jambu..

finally..we had safely reached kl..total estimated expenses (toll+petrol: RM83 + accomodation:RM37.50) cuti2 malaysia!

p/s: gamba kemudian...SELAMAT PENGANTIN BARU SARAH&FARIZ..MOGA KE AKHIR HAYAT. . .

hye all..just got back from the fully sponsored co. trip to kk..not having a jet lagged..as it was just 2++hrs from kl..but having a stiff neck and rase mabuk yg tak abis2..it was 3d2n trip..went there with AA..it just so happened that our trip also coincided with another big co. trip (i think AIA)..sooo..it was all red shirts in the plane + quite havoc too..nway..bit of summary..of what we did+ what and where we ate+where we went to..

1st day 1st night - flight took off in the morning..reached kk in afternoon..checked in to Hyatt..after the 2nd batch arrived we went for stroll to the filipino market and had our pre dinner at the night market..nway..our real dinner was on a stranger who wanted to treat us..it was a buffet dinnerat the hotel..(that 40++ man had a crush on our trainee..aku raselaa)..then we dozed off..as got an island excursion the next day..

2nd day 2nd night - woke up early around 6 a.m..(mind that at kk..the sunrise is one hr earlier than kl..) getting ready for the island excursion..had a b'fast at kfc..n then..off we go to the sutera harbour..we opted to go to mamutik and manukah island (snorkeling and banana boat)..me not playing anything..(just duk bwh pokok n bace buku cerite) seronoknye..:)..went back to hotel..had our seafood dinner (ikan merah+sotong+prawns)..coconut drinks..n shopping!! i know that we're not getting the best bargain..as most of the shops had closed..but for me the price was still acceptable..packed up n sleep..

3rd day - woke up much more earlier than yesterday..around 5++..checked out..as had promised to meet the travel agent on 6 a.m..for our last day act..we went to mt. kinabalu..i believed that..kalo tak g mt kinabalu..cam tak lengkap je trip g kk..it took 2++..the place was a bit cold..n the landscape was a breathtaking..the driver told us..that we should stay overnight there..but what to do..we had to work on monday..it's ok..maybe next time..from there..we went to kundasang..and then to the war memorial park..next stop was the frozen seafood factory..and the last stop was tanjung aru..where we had another round of air kelapa n sayap..whoa!! not bad huh..we managed to squeeze soo many places within the limited time..indeed..we had a great time there..n am looking forward for another trip there..
