Try it on Tuesday: Say it with flowers

This Spring has been hard for me. I haven´t been able to do the work I love so much, but I am getting better and soon I am back with my work <3 It makes me happy.

Still I want to use Cactus as a flower of this challenge. Cactus is calming and beautiful, with very few colors. It says be strong, but careful. Remember to protect you self too.

I used only watercolors with it. :) Have a nice Thuesday and thank you for challenge

To my dear friend

 Try it on Tuesday has a challenge : use Book paper. And I did. I love to use book paper in my collage works and here it is in bear (I printed on it with my handcarved stamp).
The backround of the card I made using gelliprints and acrylicpaint pen 
- I like the result a lot How avout you?

Tio: Things with wings

Here is the first print.

Try It on Thuesday challenges "Things with wings" - and it is just what I adore: Birds, fairies, bugs.... This Summer mostly Birds. And more is better. This artjournal page with bird is made with handcarved stamp or linoprint. I used black and gray Versafine ink in it. And in the secound pic: I used same stamp and made the backround with watercolor.

Colorful

 Try it on Tuesday asks Coloful -so here is something coloful with doodling and watercolors from my artjournal book.

Sometimes it is necessary to just play and let the pen work its way. Like this. Without any intention or bigger meaning. It is relaxing and fun.

Try It on Tuesday challenges with circels and this lady with glum face.

I am feeling a pit blue and uneasy at the moment. I don't know why I feel like that, but I wait and hope it will go a way ---hopefully soon.  Maybe it is something doing with darkness, summer has gone.

Vähän erilaista

  Mitä antaa lahjaksi sellaiselle, jolla on jo kaikkea?

 Halusin kuitenkin antaa jotain, mistä jää muisto ---ja siitä ajatus sitten syntyi. Kelloaihio on TimHolzin mallistoa, mutta muuten tässä on paljon käsityötä ja yhdistelyä. Vanhoja välineitä ja rikkoutuneita koruja ja kellon osia.

Ajanvartijan (= ukko kellon sisällä) tein kevyestä ja huoneilmasakuivuvasta Silk Clay massasta. Kelloaihion gessosin ja maalasin akryylimaaleilla turkoosi ja paynes´gray. Ikivanhaa Gragle mediumia ja valkoista maallia. Koristeet liitin gelmediumilla.

Toivoittavasti lahjan saaja tykkää ja pitää vaikka yövalona :) sillä kellon sisällä on ledvalosarja ja takana patteristo katkaisijoineen.

There is a cat in my garden

 Try it On Tuesday gives a prompt: In my garden ... so here I go.

I had put leftover Disterss Oxides on this page and then stared doodling over it - partly following the shapes of ink.... And little by little there was growing this garden.

It was so fun and relaxing...  And I quite like the result too.

Ehkä hauskin kalakortti evö :)

 Maikkiksella on blogissaan ihania kortteja - innostuin niistä ja lähdin kokoeilemaan korttia lähes samalla idealla. Oxide pohja ensin ja sitten leimaustaa, embossausta ja leikkausta. Kalat on liimattu kohoteipillä ja teksti leimattu suoraan kortin pohjaan....

Ihana, että oivalsin noiden Chocolate Baroquen kalojen olevan oivallisia tähän korttiin, jonka saaja on pieni suloinen herrasmies.

And cause they (at Try it on Tuesday) said:"We would like you to  make/design a postcard or include one in your project." ----I did design a postcard. White DistressOxide backroud and fishstamp from Chocolate Baroque.

Try It on Tuesday: Let it Shine.

Well.This summer in Finland has been rainy and cold one. So ---here is my work to this prompt. Made mostly with watercolors and black & white gelpens. I just love drawing an painting faces. Just love.

Letters or Numbers or Both

Try it on Tuesday asks to use letters or numbers or both.And I am entranced cause I was yesterday in a lovely workshop (Taru was teaching)how to use Distress Oxide. This is my first Distress Oxide backround. So I did.... 

My lovely Moleskine book is nearly full!

 First I did paint the page with Dylusion Paint and after it has dryied I started to play with Distress Oxide and it was just pure fun.. And I love the result of it. After Oxidepaly I used some stamps and stencils with Archival Ink (black) and white Uniball Signo. And then little acrylic ink splatters.

Life is an adventure.

It is better to walk alone...

I find my self wainting for summer ...with this one and its dragonflies.

I paint the picture I draw with watercolors - several leayers and then added white Posca pen and Uniball gelpen and some black details.

Ja lehmät lentää

 This one goes to Try it On Tuesday. There is challenge where you should put a qoute to your page. And I did.... :)

Altouhgt In Finnish we say... " ja lehmät lentää" (and cows are flying) , when thought something impossible. But pigs are funnier....and easier to paint.

Ihana vähän varovasti räpytellä siipiaään piirtäjänä - kokeilla uusia juttuja. Niinko nyt tätä possua tässä. Siitä tuli melkoisen vinkeä kaveri.

Try it on Tuesday: Lady in red (and I was Guest Designer)

I was anord to be Guest Designer for Try It on Tuesday challenge. 
I made this lady with charcoal and watercolor. I like her facial expression - She isn´t quite happy with the situation.

But I dind´t post her here in time.... so her challenge is allready over, but there is a new one.  So you are wellcome...

Just one of the flowers

 Try it on Tuesday challenges with word "Botanical" this time and that was my starting point - but then something happened - it usually does - and there was fox in the page.  And first i was like "iiik! now I can´t join in with this page" ---and then... The fox is one of the flower....

I don´t know is there a qoute in english, but we have in finnish one like: She isn´t a rose, but a flower anyhow... So I hope my page is ok :)
