Mix it monthly Art Challenge: White, blue and orange

 "This month we will use the Colours Blue and White with a dash of Orange" from Mix it Monthly Art Challenge....well I did a pit on my own way, but still I like the result of it.

Lots of fansy details, Wich make my heart sing.

Rapunzel

challenges with a fairytale from Grimms  Rapunzel .

And this was my artjournal taken to that. It is  a pit odd, but I let it be.

I am a little pit lost with my so called art at the moment. It is sometimes hard to find time to paint and get the creative flow going on - when you have work and childrens hobbies and home. But I know - same situation so many of us...

Käytin tässä aukeamassa akryylimaalin kanssa krakelointiainetta ja inktensen kyniä sekä mustekynää. Tämä krakelointimedium toimi todella nätisti ei kuitenkaan niin, että maali hilseilisi ja irtoaisi pohjasta. Tykkään :)

Autumn colors

 Mix It Monthly Art Challenge askes to paint on autumn colors. For me the best autumn colors are bright and warm - earthy colors. And behind is the sky - deep blue, dark and full of promises from vinter to be.

All this was my mind when I painted this artjournalpage with watercolors.

Oh! ...it was the most beutiful sunset ever

 "Oh! It was the most beautiful sunset ever" she thought and forget to leave inside. And there she was sitting out in her chair. The cat was purring on her lap and slowly the moon was rising...."

 For some reason I find Gemini intersting and made an artjournal pages out of it.

I used Dylusion paint and Distress Oxide in back round and bookpages. Stabilo all and white signo uniball...

Artjournal with All of me

This page holds a memory of a special young boy siging this song to his parents. Not  my son but someone who I have known forever. <3 I am so proud of him.

 I used gelliplate for backround printing. Then there are stamps and lyricks I did with Express Transfer and I managed to do it right this time <3So happy with it

Scorpio

"This time its all about the zodiac signs

in our work" says Mix It Montly. And so I did. Pisces are my favourite (cause I am one), but I have painted them lately - a lot. So it was challenge do draw and paint something else this time.

I used gelliprints and rip them and glued them down first. Then I draw the scorpio and then painted it with Inktense and Dylusion paints.  Stars are from glitter paste. :)

I love how the patterns of gelliprints shines throuhgt... Do you?

Mice in Farmesmarket

 Mix It Monthly challenge this time " Going to the farmesmarket"... And yes it was realy a challenge.
Until I rembered my mice - these two...and well they have a big hungy family.

So maybe we forgive them - at this time.

The Legacy of A Pirate

 I starded this artjounal page as an intuative painting - I was watching  movie and "smashing" watercolor to paper without any plans.  First I saw a bunny and after a while a women with grate sadness in her figure. And then the bunny turn out to be a dog. There are stairs and see and a ship....

I was thinking, where do the Pirate go, when He is old and  retiree. I didn´t know... so this pic tells a simble story. When Pirate goes his legacy is a mourning widow and a grumpy dog.

The isnpiration behind this page is given by new challenge (for me) Mix It Monthly. I am so happy that I have found soo many new challenges for artjournals... <3 Thank you.

Uaah! Tajusin juuri, että tähän asti lähes 70% suomenkielisessä blogissani on yhtäkkiä postauksia kokonaan englanniksi. Anteeksi ajattelemattomuuteni. Tuo enkun vääntäminen vaatii ponnisteluja ja hikikarpalot virtaavat, joten  olen ihan voipunut kun se osuus on väännetty..

Sellasta tarinoin tuossa, että kun aloitin tätä sivua maalailin ihan ilman päämäärää roiskien vesiväriä sinne tänne. Ensin ilmaantui näkyviin jänis sitten naisen hahmo ja jänis muuttui koiraksi. Olin aikaisemmin päivällä löytänyt uuden haasteen, joka antoi aiheeksi merirosvot. Surullisen naishahmon myötä jäin pohtimaan, mihin menevät ja mitä tekevät vanhat eläkeläismerirosvot... ja tulin sitten siihen lopputulokseen, että Merirosvon perintö on sureva leski ja kärttyisä koira.
