Let them make scarves!

After such a great scarf class last week, and considering feedback from my students, I have decided to re-structure my classes.  I will be offering the Nuno Felt Scarf Workshop straight off, no pre-requisite.  And the reason why?  Everyone wants to make scarves!  Beautiful, wearable scarves.  And honestly, who can blame them.
January and February Studio Workshop schedule is posted on my website,

Student Work

Beautiful pieces of Nuno Felt made by students in my basic class.

Hand painted roving in Tequila Sunrise colorway
provides a spectacular background for Nuno Felt

Exciting piece of pre-felt!

Vineyard colorway lives up to it's name.

This first time felter had fun playing with color and materials.

Felting on Whidbey Island

To work in a room with lots of natural light is always a pleasure. But to also have the most peaceful and beautiful views out of the windows was a real treat.
Together we spent four fabulous days of felting. Beginning with the basics of Nuno Felt,
we moved on to scarves, then felted rope bracelets and cuffs, and finally........

Stringy Thingys!

Nothing could give a teacher more satisfaction than happy participants,
enjoying every minute........

and being delighted with their efforts.
Thanks to all of you for a wonderful retreat!
A very special thanks to Beverly Ash Gilbert for making it all possible.

Fabulous Fun Ruffled Scarves

Todays Nuno Felt Scarf class was lots of fun.
All were students who came back for more!
Each a delight to have in my studio.
