The Homework :) [Kill Me Now]

As many of you know I am studying to be a Digital Graphic Design Engineer, and most of my classes require lots of creativity and manual work.

and I have a drawing class.

and I'm no artist. 

Should I show you my latest assignment? 

This is what we had to do:

This is what I did, it took me 4-5 hours to make.

95% out of 100% Not bad I think. 

Now take a look at my Homework:

It's filled with THOUSANDS of Lines!!! Now THIS is Fun! Oh yes...

and the only think I can use is Drawing Ink. now pencils no nothing.  double fun. 

So yeah.... would someone be so kind as to murder me? I am no artist and that drawing is insane! my teacher is officially crazy >.<

Well, now I'll go drop out of college [kidding] No, but seriously, I'm not sure if you'll see much of me this week, not after that. This has been a fun semester indeed.

When Blogging Becomes Too Much...

February 13th I read a post by Trish from Just a YA Girl saying that she would stop blogging. She has been a steady blogger for months and I was one of her first followers and remember the transition of her blog, from beginner to an awesome book blog.

Her decision to stop blogging really got me thinking, I have many times felt the pressure of Blogging and having a book club and have taken some hiatus to focus on school and such. Never once did it actually crossed my mind to stop blogging completely. But when I saw Trish's post I thought about it, it would be easy to drop everything and just focus on school and reading, but, for me, it would also be sad.

When I started blogging I had no idea what this world really was, I was way over my head in this: Blog tours, review requests, keeping up, the pressure to have a lot of followers, deciding whether you are a Book Reviewer or Book Blogger [there seems to be a difference o_o]. I started blogging at the same time as many others did - A Cupcake and a Latte, A Work of Fiction, NightlyReading - These girls are just a few examples of who continued to blog steady, but many others decided to stop. I decided to continue. because even thought it was/is hard, it's worth it.

One of the things that took longer to understand was that I don't need a million followers to feel encouraged. I review books hoping that it will help someone decide whether or not to read something, to showcase less known titles and such, and if I am helping just one person, that's more than enough. I would rather have only three followers and know that the content of my blog is of value to them instead of six thousand followers that never visit my blog. Understanding this took me A LOT.

That you don't get review copies. You earn them. you have to earn the right to receive ARC's and such, you need to blog steady and prove yourself. I didn't understood this until the beginning of this year, which is when I started reviewing more steadily and also I have started to receive constant review requests. I'm still working very hard on this part. I want to proudly claim I'm a good book blogger, I don't think I'm bad now, but I can improve more, and I'll get there :)

It's hard work. it takes time to sit down and make a post, write down your review and also make time to read. Because we can get so caught up in blogging that we forget the main reason why we blog. What's the point of blogging about books if you are no longer reading them? It isn't and easy thing, it's not just some light hobby. It's a compromise. Anyone that blogs will agree with this, I'm sure. Not easy, but worth it, which is what keeps us going. Never underestimate a Blogger, we're seriously tough. Totally hardcore x)

I won't stop blogging anytime soon, I Love it. It has become a part of me and also one of the things that make me more happy. My Bloggoversary is this March [YAY!] and after a whole year of blogging, it wasn't until this January that I found a steady and comfortable blogging pace. I have time to study, read, blog and to have a life and I am not planning on stopping now.

To all the Steady Blogs out there: My respects and I admire you, I seriously do.

To those debating whether to continue blogging: If It makes you happy, do it. If it doesn't, then don't.

To those who stopped blogging: I understand :/

The Homework :(

Just wanted to make a quick update telling everyone that I'll be super busy this week, so I'm not sure if I will have any posts up the rest of the week :(

It seems all of my teachers got together and decided to leave as much homework and all the tests this week, so here's hoping I'll survive and that you shall forgive me for this.

BUT the good news is that March is almost here... and my Blogoversary is in March.... and that I'm not that far away from 1000 followers.... does anyone know what this means???? GIVEAWAY!!!!!! Coming soon guys! Coming Reeeaaally soon :D!

side note: I have a TON of reviews that I need to do! So I should be posting the really soon and also a Lot of designs I've been working on! I have a huge waiting list also and an official design page coming soon! Eeek! Can't wait to give everyone more details! I'll see you [Officially] all again next week! Wish me Luck!

My First Design!

As you guys know, on Friday I started promoting that I could help you our with making your Blog Button or the Design of your blog. And today I finished my First Blog Design for Delphina Reads Too Much and I am supper exited!

 What I'm Reading:

So fat it's not bad. Good actually, except that I wish Katie - main character - would have more dignity. If a guy treats you like crap and shoves you across the room you don't go swooning after him! Seriously, that guy - Peter - is Bipolar. Period! *sigh* we'll see how it goes later....

 I'm Loving the Writing style! I thought it was going to be impossible to read, but no, in fact it is quite beautiful and simple, the story is reeeally getting under my skin :)

After surviving the most complicated couple of weeks, I can finally and proudly say that I survived my first semester in college with decent grades :D! Yesterday I did my last exam and even though this first semester was great and just can't express how amazing it is that it's OVER. I mean, Thank God! I thought the stress wasn't going to end xD made awesome friends, including an awesome teacher [Happy Birthday by the way Ivan]

Interesting things that happened this past weeks:

-American Horror Story is by far the Best series I have ever seen. it has messed with my head badly.
-Reading while in exams is nearly impossible without your mind turning into scrambled egg.
-Confirmed I cannot cook. Period.
-That I am addicted to Tumblr.
-That your room needs to be clean. seriously, it drove me mad seeing my room a mess while studying. nice and clean now :3
-and that sleeping, in college, in finals is a luxury. Oh and the bags under my eyes are slowly healing.


I'm back to reviewing starting next week along with sleeping x) And the cute cat above? Mine :D she's 2 months old and she's sooo soooo soooo cute! meet Luna.

Can't wait for Christmas and to start Blogging again :D!

Small Hiatus

Hey guys, it's that time of the semester where I get tons of final exams and a bunch of final projects so, right now I really do need to focus on that.

I'll be back December 11th.

Hey Guys! Sorry I haven't been posting!! sheesh I seem to be saying that a lot lately... O.O

But I am really Sorry! its just been a sorta-kinda crazy week x)

and what's worse is that I had no blogger Lift last week O.O One of the Bloggers Canceled and I had no back up and I was freaking out and ended up doing nothing - typical me. BUT this week is back :D! yayyy just give me a minute to post it ;)
