Sinopse  

A pesquisa sobre monumentos gregos raramente, ou apenas superficialmente, cruzou caminhos com aqueles do campo sócio-histórico. 

No entanto, a orientação multidisciplinar da pesquisa atual permite-nos considerar a arquitetura sob um novo ângulo, colocando o Homem no centro do tema. De fato, recriar caminhos e gestos hoje desaparecidos exige o cruzamento de fontes, principalmente textuais, epigráficas, arqueológicas e iconográficas.

Foi com isso em mente que o dia internacional de estudos sobre circulação em monumentos gregos foi realizado nos dias 3 e 4 de novembro de 2016. O objetivo deste evento, que é abordado nesta publicação, foi duplo: preencher uma lacuna e levantar questões que poderiam, em última análise, levar a novos estudos.
