Os depósitos de bronze moldaram a nossa imagem da Idade do Bronze e sempre foram foco de pesquisa. No entanto, esses sítios foram negligenciados por muito tempo, embora ofereçam aportes fundamentais sobre as práticas deposicionais. 


As contribuições deste volume demonstram o grande potencial de tais estudos dentro de um amplo contexto geográfico. Elas fornecem aportes sobre a pesquisa atual sobre os depositos da Idade do Bronze entre o Mar Báltico e a Bacia dos Cárpatos e oferecem uma nova perspetiva sobre um fenómeno que se pensava ser totalmente compreendido.~
