Drawings by the Russian artist Boris Israelevich Anisfeld during the 1920s.
source: New York Public Digital Gallery

The New York Public Library's Digital Gallery has over 700,000 images to peruse and ponder. It's a fantastic online resource!

I inadvertently came across Anisfeld's costume designs (above) while seeking information for a project I'm working on. Thought I'd share them with you.

The gallery provides free and open access to their vast collection.

It's definitely worth the visit ~ NYPLDG
