Today's stitching

Swaps blocks for a few swaps this month, each in my Hive member's requested colors.  Tonight I will be stamping and watching Dancing with the Stars.

I have a list of sewing and stamping projects to get completed over the next month or two.  So much going on but I will be posting some pictures along the way.  We just finished relaxing through a work weekend at Seascape. It was gorgeous weather and the beach was beautiful.  Chloe turned one yesterday so we had a special grandparents birthday party with her before the "big" party on Saturday.

Here's the card I made for last Saturday's stamp club meeting. I finished up my hexi block for SkillBuilder and took a picture of all the blocks so far that have been quilted.

It's April showers!

Welcome to my blog for the April Showers Blog Hop.

Thank you to Madame Samm at Sew We Quilt and our cheerleader Erin at Sew at Home Mummy! If you don't already follow these two wonderful talented ladies, I recommend that you follow them as I know they will inspire you!
The theme for the April Showers Mug Rug hop is anything that inspires you for the month of April.  We all know here in the U.S. that April showers bring May flowers so that is what I stitched for my mug rug using this tutorial , added some applique then free motion quilted it.

Hop on through the blogs and see the great mug rugs created.

My Covert Robin gift arrived

I received a Jewelry Travel Case from Cheryl.  The colors are gorgeous together!

Here are my next two Skillbuilder BOM pieces.  The woven chevron was a tough one.  So many seams.  I think I really prefer paper piecing a block when it has that many seams since the seams lie very flat. I'm sure these blocks will be beautiful once they are quilted.
