Highland Monkey's...you're a winner

The first name that was drawn to win the mug rug in the February 6th post hasn't responded, so I drew another name and I just emailed Highland Monkey's because YOU'RE A WINNER!

Here's some of what I've been up to...

I still can't reveal some since the recipients haven't seen the projects yet. I have been sewing and stamping. I made some mug rugs for friends and then a couple to sell. It was so much fun to have someone like my work that they wanted to buy some! My helper cat decided to use my Iphone as a pillow.

A few more projects

I made myself another mug rug from some scraps. I just love making these little pieces of quilting. I finished a couple cards using some SU stamps that I hadn't used in a while and had fun crafting while watching Grey's Anatomy. Don't forget to comment on the mug rug in the most a few days ago....it's your chance to win it. You don't need to be a coffee drinker to use it...just consider it a big coaster for your drink and snack.

Second house square

I finished the second house block for a Flick swap. I also made several other things but I can't post them yet til the recipient's get them in the mail.....they would definitely know who they are for if I posted them.

I have a GIVE-AWAY....Here's a mug rug I made with some scraps to practice my free motion quilting. House block finished

I finished the first house block for a Flickr swap I'm in. I am going to make another house block but it will be all pieced without applique...once I get inspired with another idea.

I finished my quilt

I finally got the swap squares from last year's Hip 2 Bee Square Flickr group put together. I wanted to make a rag quilt but I also needed to practice my free motion quilting....so I combined both of those things then added a binding to the quilt rather than keeping the edges ragged. It is so warm!
