My month of quilt squares are flying in...

I received 4 more quilt squares in yesterday's mail. I can't wait to get them all here and decide how I will put them together.

I always look forward to my monthly card kits from Krazy Kreations. This month was a kit with some new Hero Art stamps. So fun to color with my copics. I didn't make my cards exactly like the sketches since I wanted to add some additional embellishments. I found about about their monthly card kit at a rubber stamp convention last year. If you're interested, just click the like then check out their info under "contact us" on the website. This is a wonderful monthly club!

I made some July 4th spinner cards for friends. I am so appreciative of living in a country where we can celebrate our freedom. I have a couple cards going out to soldiers today. Thank you to them for their work in keeping our country free and save.

This is my month for quilt squares to be made for me in my Hip2BSquare quilt group. I sent out owl fabric along with some other bright colors and received my first square back in yesterday's mail. It is so lovely...I decided to make thank you cards for the quilters that will go out as I receive squares. The owl card is what I will be sending to my quilting friends.

My daughter-in-law is having a Mad Hatter birthday party next weekend and I wanted to make her a special card for the occasion. I found some clip art online and put it together in a card for her.

My next project from this weekend is from a pattern I found on a site at CraftProject
Central
. Click on the link to read about the monthly projects. There are 5 projects posted so far this month and 5 more to come. I sure had fun making the hamburger card.

My project today

A project I have been putting off for a while was finished today. Michaels had some stretched canvas on sale so I bought a package of two 16 x 20 canvases, painted them black and attached 490 inchies...YEP 490! That is just on the two large canvases and doesn't include the other small canvases in the picture. I am not making inchies for swaps much any longer and wanted to get some of mine and others that I've swapped for on the walls for everyone to enjoy. If you see your inchies on my wall...THANKS! I have received some beautiful inchie work in the swaps I've participated in the past 3 years.
