HAPPY BIRTHDAY ART BY MI RAN CELEBRATIONS (DAY 5 )

Hello to all of our fans!!

We here at Art by Mi Ran team are so excited to be celebrating Mi Ran's Art by Mi Ran first birthday!!

So amazing that just 1 year ago Mi Ran began sharing her awesome images with us!!


With so many beautiful ones it's hard for a gal to pick a favorite right?

So instead of having the team have to struggle with picking ONE of their favorites' we decided to have a little bit of  fun and share with you our very first Art by Miran's image we used for our first DT post!! We also will be sharing a new project using the very same image !!

The first card I made as a DT for Art by Mi Ran was this one.

This lovely girl is called Chef Charlotte, and she is just perfect for Birthday cards!
I can't wait to share the new project I made with her, so here it is!

Guest Designer - Erin Stephenson - 2nd creation

Good morning, it's already the time for the 2nd creation of  Guest Designer Erin Stephenson.

In case you missed her introduction post here is more about this talented lady:

I am a veterinary technician living in Upstate NY. I had been pen palling for awhile when I noticed a lot of my new friends were into crafts and card making. I have never been very good with anything crafty at all. I can barely draw a straight line with a ruler but I was determined to give it a try. I fell in love with digital stamps as well as rubber ones and started using them on my letters. Then progressed to making my own cards. I still have so much to learn with all the different supplies and techniques! I am very excited to grow as a card maker.

For her 2nd creation Erin used the very cute Chef Charlotte.  And she went with the theme of the month which is back to school and used a clipboard!  I just love the idea of something different like that!

Doesn't she look totally awesome on this clipboard?!?  It would be perfect to hold the recipe you are making!!!  And of course would make a great gift.  You can see the details on how she made this clipboard on her blog here.

I think you will agree with me that she did an awesome job showcasing this beautiful image. Thank you Erin for joining us this month!

I took this quite literal, lol and actually added my flag to her outfit ;p

Chef Charlotte Apron Card

Good morning, Happy Sunday everyone!!

Jackie here and I am so happy to be sharing a project on the Artbymiran Blog today!!!

Today I am sharing Chef Charlotte
A sweet little gal that Mi Ran created a few weeks 
back and I have been wanting to color her up!!

I created a apron card with her, isn't she adorable?

I used a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 Kraft card base and then cut away both corners to create 

an apron, added a pocket on the front to hold a favorite recipe.

I love how this turned out and will be adding a birthday sentiment 

inside to give with my favorite Cookies and Cream Cupcake.
