January Stamp Club - Challenge Card

Hello Everyone.

Whew what a week. I have posted a project every day this week. They were all pertaining to the Bugaboo 10th annual Birthday Bash. That was a lot of fun!!!

Well that's finished and now I want to show you the challenge card I made for the monthly stamp club meeting, this past Tuesday.

Each month we are given something to use on our challenge card and it is due at the next meeting. At the last meeting of 2019, we were given Washi Tape to use on our card/project for the January meeting.

Here is may card

The silver dotted tape is kind of a dull gray
and its not showing up really well on the picture. (Sorry)
Seems, I have a lot of Washi Tape in my own stash
and I need to use some of  it more often. LOL

This was a cool card to make, quick and easy and I love the outcome.
I will definitely try to make mare cards using Washi Tape

Pumpkin Seeds

Hi everyone
Thanks for dropping in today.

I know that sowing seeds is generally a spring activity, however I decided to make this a fall retro image, especially since the seed packet label is for pumpkin seeds.

The bow probably looks familiar to you, well, I had made a few when I tried out the technique of making a bow using my Craft-Dee BowZ tool and using Washi Tape instead of ribbon. Yep, it works. Now I will be using my Washi tape more often. The purple in the dual colored bow is ribbon, but that dreamy orange sherbet stripped "ribbon" is the Washi Tape. And who would have have thought.

Want to see how this is done, (I know you are just dying to see how it is done).Click here and check out the video Donna Maligno has made.Washi Tape bows are easy and pretty, too.

Just love this autumn stamp set from JustRite. They have some yummy stamps and this one was yelling at me to be used, so I did.

Memories

Hi Everyone

Holy Cow!! It's September 1st  already and fall will be here in no time flat!! School has already started here and probably most everywhere else, by now.

Speaking of the first of the month, it's time for the September challenge over at Craft-Dee BowZ. The theme is always "anything goes with a handmade bow". Hope you will submit a project this month, you could be the next winner.

Recently,I saw this design out on Pinterest and just had to try it. Not hard to do just a tad tricky and I am sharing the link to take you to Eileen Godwin's blog with her fabulous instructions. Hope you try
this card design out for one of your cards

Craft-Dee BowZ sells the best bow making tool on the market and my orange sherbet colored bow was made using the CDB tool. For this bow, I used Washi Tape instead of ribbon. That's right, washi tape. I love the fact you can use Washi tape to make a bow. There are so many fabulous designs out there in Washi tape, now you have one more product besides ribbon to use to make a beautiful bow. Click here to watch Donna's  great video to walk you thru how this is done. It's really so easy.

Here is another view that shows the card design and bow from a different angle.

Always and Forever

Hi Everyone,
It's time for my regular monthly post for Craft-Dee BowZ. Don't you just love February, we celebrate Valentine's Day, Ground Hogs Day,( we are half way to spring), its Presidents Day this month, my birthday is this month......more on that later in the month. LOL

Have you noticed, the colors that seem to be used a lot on valentine cards are reds and pinks. Those are warm colors and with the winter we've had so far, we can take all the warmth we can get.LOL

One reminder, it's time for the bi-monthly Craft-Dee BowZ blog hop. The blog hop starts on Thursday, February 6, so mark your calendar because you will want to stop in and check out the hop and leave comments. Leaving comments will make you eligible to win your very own Craft-Dee BowZ  tool. The Craft-Dee BowZ tool really has made it easy for me to make beautiful bows for all my projects.Click here to order yours today. Or ask your sweetie to get one for you for Valentine's Day.

Here my card, designed with a Valentine theme.

Let me show you a close up of my single loop bow.

Those flowers on the card started out as a self adhesive border. I cut the flowers apart and cut some pieces of wire and adhered a flower to the front and to the back of the wire. Also these were white and I sprayed them with a red spray.  I used my Craft-Dee BowZ tool to make a simple and easy to make single loop bow. I used some pink DP for my card panel and the main card is red. So it looks like that I too used pink and red on my card. LOL

Well now it's time to get your Valentine cards finished. Hope I gave you some inspiration today.

Thanks for stopping in and have a great week. And I hope to see you back here Thursday. There will be some beautiful inspiration projects and just in time for your last minute Valentine cards and projects.
