You're Fabulous

Hello Everyone and thanks for stopping by,

Well it's the first Tuesday of the month and
that means it's time to share my Craft-Dee BowZ project with you.

Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps And More
is proud to sponsor the Craft-Dee BowZ challenge for April.

The top prize will win 3 digital stamps

Robyn's Fetish Digital Stamps And More
a division of I Did It Creations,
was created and is owned by Robyn Weinrib.
Robyn offers a wonderful variety of digital stamps and digital papers, designed to meet the needs of all digital paper crafting addicts for every occasion.
Click here and stop in at their shop and check out their wonderful selection of digi's

Let me show you you the digital image I used on my card.

Here is a pic of the image, colored but not trimmed yet.
I used colored pencils to add the color and Gamsol to blend the color out

I used the Lily image and added a duplicate but smaller image and then flipped the smaller image. That's the great thing about using digital images, you have a lot of flexibility.

Here is a closer view of those stamens

I didn't want my stamens to be black, so I covered the stamens using a Quickie Glue pen, and
then covered the glue with yellow embossing powder. (Yes you could use a VersaMark marker in place of the glue pen, but in the event you don't have the VersaMark marker, use a glue pen, it works just as well.) I then heated it just like regular embossing.

OK here is the finished card

I fussy cut the lilies and mounted them on a round shape that is off-set on the clock.
I used some of that yummy yellow sheer ribbon.
This card called for a double-loop bow and I decided the yellow sheer worked best with the colors of CS I used.

That bow was so easy to make using the Craft-Dee BowZ tool.

The tool will make a bow from 1" to 4 1/2". Perfect for all the different projects we make.
The tool is small and easy to store and is the best bow maker.
You can order yours here

The challenge over at Craft-Dee BowZ has started and lasts all month.
The theme is always Anything Goes and include a Handmade Bow.
I hope you will enter so you can be in the running for the top prize.

    Step into my Garden

    Hi Everyone,

I have a quick post showing  a card using a few dies and one gorgeous stamp. One die set I used is from Sizzix, a tiny lily. Another die I used is from Impression Obsession and that dies called Hollyhocks. And that stamped image is from Serendipity Stamps.I have the whole alphabet and each letter is gorgeous.

Let me share the card with you.

Here is a close-up of the lilies and that stamped image.

And last but not least, here are the stalks of hollyhocks

When making this card, I used a brick wall embossing folder on the celery green panel. I rubbed over the raised design Lavender Bloom dye ink from Fresco to bring out that brick design. Love those inks.

I'm Back with 4 new cards

No I didn't die, just up to my eyeballs in things to get done. But, I did have time to get a few cards made, so without further ado, here are the newest cards I have designed.

The first card is a great card for your sweetie or it would make a great birthday card as well, just change the sentiment.

Here is a Valentine's Day Shaker card. Of course could you see this as a birthday card. I used Nestabilities to cut a circle and then used a corner adorner to achieve the corners and the red circle. The Shake It shaker pouch is from Impression Obsession. This little pouch is self adhesive and works like a champ.

This card turned out so cool. I stamped the image on acetate and glittered the image up.I cut the image out them actually glued it to a piece of acetate and then poped it up over the same image that I had stamped and glittered on glossy CS. I love the way the image is reversed on the top piece. It makes the lilies look like a big bunch.Used that corner adorner to make the frame.

Last but definitely not least is a beautiful rose image, colored with colored pencils and gamsol. Do you notice the small flower on the bow?? It is a new die from Sizzix. It's called 3D Flower. Love it. Easy to make and adds so much to a card.

Well that is it for now. I have to finish a project and I have a few new stamp sets waiting to be used.
Thanks for stopping by, see you soon,
    Barbara
