You Make Me Smile

Hi Everyone,

Whoo Hoo it's May 1. WOW I am lovin' the spring time temps here and for the most part, the weather. However, we have had quite a bit of rain lately in the Greater Cincinnati area. But it beats snow. LOL

May 1 and it's time for the start of the May Challenge over at Craft-Dee BowZ. Time to activate your creativity and enter a project in this month's challenge. The theme every month is Anything Goes with a Handmade Bow. That about covers anything you might want to submit. Just include a bow in your creation and you will be in the running.

Spring makes most of us think of  flowers. So with that in mind, I made a card spotlighting a paper folded dahlia.(Click here for a wonderful visual on how to do the folds. It's easy!!)

Let me share with you my card.

Folded circles that become flowers, how cool!!.Those yellow flower centers were colored with Pan Pastels. I mounted them on a shaped embossed panel and added leaves and branches. The bow is made using my trusty Craft-Dee BowZ tool.

Let me show you  close-up of my bow:

And one more close-up, different angle:

That bow maker really makes a mean bow, don't you think!!!. LOL
