Craft-Dee BowZ October Blog Hop

Welcome to my blog.

If you arrived here from Gail's blog then you are in the right spot, if not, and to be eligible for the CDB give away (a 25 yard reel of ribbon), you will want to start at the Craft-Dee BowZ blog  to check out the guidelines and prize information.

Here are the links to the Craft-Dee BowZ designers, and in case you get lost along the way you can go back to the Craft-Dee BowZ blog for the links,

Gail Lass
Barbara Bruder (You are here)

What an awesome Blog Hop theme, Pretty in Pink (October is Breast Cancer Awareness month). I am the last of the designers in the hop. I am sure you have seen some wonderful designs graced with beautiful bows, all made using the Craft-Dee BowZ tool.  Let me share my project, which is a card,

I made a layered bow using two different ribbons. The bottom bow is a sheer glittered ribbon and I made a triple loop bow.Next I made a smaller, single loop bow and stacked the smaller bow on top of the larger bow.

Here is a closer view of the bow

You know the Craft-Dee BowZ has the best bow making tool out there....bar none.

I am the last designer in the blog hop. We at Craft-Dee BowZ hope you had a great time and that our projects gave you some inspiration for projects of your own..

To be eligible for the prize, leave a comment on all the designers blogs and hop back to the Craft-Dee BowZ and leave one last comment there as well.

    Bricks Along the Journey

    Hi Everyone
Sunday I went to a great silent auction to raise money for breast cancer research. The function is known as Bricks Along the Journey.  Just thought you'd like to take a few minutes to see some great art submitted by a lot of artists in order to raise money for the research.  This was the 10th year for this event and it was my 2nd year for submitting. All of the submitted artwork has a brick included in the creation, somewhere.

I have posted about one fourth of the bricks that were entered. This was a silent auction and they also had a raffle for a whole host of prizes. I didn't win any of the raffled gifts but my bricks were auctioned off. Yahoo!!!There were 2 bids on the bid sheet so I know someone took my creation home with them. I believe the opening bid was either $50. or $75. The winning bid was higher than the opening bid.

Without further ado, click here to go over to the new page that houses the pics of some of the fantastic bricks that were submitted this year.

    Thanks for stopping by,

    Barbara
