Have a "Beary" Christmas

Welcome Back!!!

The latest challenge over at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends has just started. Hope you can join in the fun. We'd love to see your creation.

Theme - Anything Goes
Digital image I am using - Merry Berry Bear
Prize - 2 packs from the store
Sponsor - AMBillustrations

I thought this bear was so adorable and decided to show him off
standing in the woods feeding the birds

I cut a panel and stamped a few pine trees to give the background that woodsy feel.Next I stamped the image on a separate piece of CS, colored it using colored pencils and gamsol to blend the colors. Next I fussy cut it out leaving some CS at the bottom attached to the bear for a snow effect.  I added glitter to the bottom of the image and also colored the sky with Distress Ink Oxides to kind of look like a sunrise and then added some glitter in the sky to look like snowflakes. Then I popped the bear up on the panel and added a sweet sentiment.

I hope you’ve enjoyed my project. I'd love to see you link a project in the Lil Patch of Crafty Friends challenge. Don’t forget the theme is always Anything Goes.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and we’ll see you soon!

Season's Greetings

Hello Everyone
I've been crazy busy and on top of it all, I forgot to post this cute card.

Speaking of forgetting - Don't forget, challenge  #353 is going on right now over at Crafty Creations Challenges.
The theme - Anything Goes
Sponsor - Bugaboo
Prize - 4 images of your choice
Challenge will end November 6

For my card, I used this sweet image from Bugaboo,  called Candy Cane Bear.

To make this 6X6 card -
I used a colorblock die from Accu-cut and just used the frame part. Next, I attached that frame to a sheet of adhesive and added glitter to the separate blocks. I added the Candy Cane Bear to the center of the block and attached it to a matte silver panel.

I then embossed the corners of the silver panel and then attached the panel sheet to the card front. Next, I made poinsettias using Spellbinders dies, glitter those up and attached to the card front. I then added the greenery and my die cut sentiment.

This was a cute card to make and can't wait to give it.
I have the perfect person in mind already.

Well, that's it for today.

I will be back Wednesday with a post for my 1st of the month post.
Hope to see you then

Crafty Creations Challenge #312 - For A Young Girl

Hi there bloggers,
Thanks for stopping in today.
The next challenge has started over at Crafty Creations
The theme is: For A Young Girl.

And the sponsor is A Creative Need

A Creative Need Digital Art Images opened its doors to fill a need to evolve my creative passions and pursuits!
I have been an artist and crafter for many years, and I enjoy creating in many styles and with different materials.
It is my practical side that led me to using digital images in my own creations. I simply love that they can be so easily resized, flipped, and printed, and they take up no space in my crafting room!
I have merged my love of drawing with my need for realistic images, by digitizing my own pencil sketches. My drawing style is influenced by simple realism, everyday moments and natural beauty. I'm hoping that my images will fill a need in your creative hearts and crafting homes too!
You will find new images every month at A Creative Need, Squigglefly and Can You Digi It?!
I am pleased and proud to be sponsoring this challenge! Thank you to the design team for their wonderful creations, and best of luck to all the participants!
The winner will receive 3 images of their choice from my SHOP.
