Happy Easter racing Chicks

Welcome back everyone,

Easter is rapidly approaching and I thought I'd share another Easter card that I presented in my March Card Class.

As soon as I saw the cute stamp from Northwood's Rubber Stamps, I knew how I wanted to stamp those cute chicks. The stamp actually has the 3 chicks together but I thought it would be better if I showed them separate.

I stamped the image 2 times and fussy cut the eggs out from one of the stamped images.I separated the chicks, colored them and popped them up off the main stamped images. I added an off set double frame in spring colors under those chicks. These little guys are so cute!!

Happy Easter Card

Hi Everyone, Thanks for stopping in today!!!

Spring has arrived, and I think it's about time. However we are expecting more snow here tonight/ tomorrow in the Cincinnati region with 60's a few days later. April will bring some of those warmer and sunny days, I hope.

Let me share with you cards from my March card class over the next few days.  The class contained 3 cards, 2 Easter and one semi clean and simple.

Here is the 1st Easter card.

That grass turned out kind of crummy so at the class I suggested the ladies trim the green piece in a wavy scallop cut and then use the fringe scissors. That turned out much better. The ladies said on my card, the grass had just been mowed. LOL

I will be back in a few days with the other Easter card. It is so cute, hope you like it..

Craft-Dee BowZ Spring Blog Hop

Hi Everyone,
It's spring, finally, and welcome to the CDB Spring Blog Hop. If you hopped her from Brenda's blog then you are in the right place, otherwise you may want to start at the Craft-Dee BowZ blog to become eligible for the Craft-Dee BowZ prize of the great bow maker tool.

I hope you've been inspired so far and I thought since spring is here, at least that's what they keep saying, I thought butterflies and flowers would be in order.

I recently added an embossing folder to my collection, it has butterflies on it and I thought it fit the theme, perfectly. The stamped image is one for Northwoods. They always have beautiful images, don't they!! That background paper is so dreamy and its from Prima, its called Firefly. And the butterfly is also from Prima.

The bow maker tool is so easy to use and lets you go from bow challenged to a  bow making expert starting with your first bow. Small, easy to use and gives you the option of many different bow styles. I use this tool on almost every card I make.

Thanks for taking the time to join us for the first blog hop. Please remember to comment here on my blog and then leave one last comment over at the Craft-Dee BowZ blog  to be eligible for the prize.  We value all of your comments!!

Here are the design team members in case you get lost.

Cardinals and Snow

Hi Everyone,
I just picked up 3 new Northwoods stamps last week. I fell in love with these stamps because they have cardinals on them. I happen to love cardinals. I made this card using one of those stamps.

Supplies used:
Northwoods stamp - O8287
Martha Stewart Around the Page Punch - Double Arches
Copic Markers - R14, G29, C-2
Pearl Pen - Ice White
Distress Ink - Gathered Twigs
Sparkle N Sprinkle Glitter - Sparkling Snow G1003
Ribbon
Card stock - Green, Cardinal Red

These little guys are in my background almost every day. Maybe that is why I love cardinals so much. Of course they just happen to be the state bird for Ohio and Ky. and probably a few other states as well.

Have a great week and I will be back with cards using the other new Northwoods stamps I picked up, in a few days.
