We are excited to have Craft Classes Online as our sponsor
Craft Classes Online (CCO) brings multiple Creative Arts Instructors together on one site to provide students with the best choice in online craft workshops. Our instructors offer online workshops that are engaging, affordable, and time-saving. Students from across the globe can learn any number of techniques and creative projects from the comfort of their home and on their schedule.
Make sure to check out our blog, Everyday Moodlings, which offers a theme of the week and challenges us to use all of our craft supplies during the coming year. We offer ideas, tips, tutorials, and crafty inspiration.
We are excited to be sponsoring CraftyCreations Blog. You can view our class list on our website at www.CraftClassesOnline.com. We continuously update our website with new workshops, so check back often.
Become a subscriber to our newsletter and gain access to our FREE class, “Ink Essentials”! Come visit us on our Facebook page, too. One lucky winner will receive a free seat to an online workshop valued at $25 or less. The winner will have until the end of December 2016 to claim their prize. Good Luck!
Since our theme for this Crafty Creations Challenge is Not A Card, with a theme like that, at this time of the year, that means I could come up with a lot of great ideas. But since I love Christmas I decided to make an ornament.
I also decided to use something that I have saved over the last few months,
so I guess you can say this is a recycle project.
so I guess you can say this is a recycle project.
I used a lid from the round box that the Laughing Cow Cheese comes in (there are probably other brands out on the market but that is what I buy most of the time.)
and this is what I made
I covered the box inside and out with blue CS, stamped that cute snowman and fussy cut him out.Next I added a glittered snowbank at his base. Since I added strips of CS to the inside and the outside rim of the top, I noticed there was a gap on the edge so I used a hot glue gun on the rim and dipped that hot glue in glitter. Looks icy now and the gap on the rim is all covered up.
I added a little something to the back as well for that finishing touch.
Please join the challenge over at Crafty Creations - you could be the next winner. The challenge is Bi-Weekly and will end on September 26.
Also, please check out the other designers projects over at Crafty Creations , they are all really cool. Lots of creative ideas.
