Thinking of You

 Hi Everyone,

Hope you are having a great day so far.

Yesterday I posted a card using images from Bugaboo. Well, I am back with another card using just one of the images from yesterday's card. This time, I only used the Flowerpots from Bugaboo

Let's take a look at the card:

I think this Flower Pots image is so pretty and perfect for spring (even though we are into summer, now) or perfect for just about any time of the year.

That background is a sheet of watercolor paper that I just added some orange and a little bit of yellow to. And that oval frame really makes the image pop

SUPPLIES I USED ON MY PROJECT

Stamps: Digital - Bugaboo - Flower Pots
Paper/Card Stock
Watercolor Paper;Brown CS; White CS
Dies Used: Heartfelt Creations - Decorative Oval
Accessories:Spectrum Noir alcohol Markers; Stamp On It Sticker - (Sentiment)

I am submitting my card to the following challenges:

Thanks so much for stopping by. Hope you have a wonderful rest of the week.
I will be back soon.

November Stamp Club Theme Card

Well hello crafters,
Hope everyone is staying warm. As I write this, it's 12° outside - too cold for the first part of November IMHO. (I am in the Greater Cincinnati area.)

Tonight was the monthly stamp club meeting and the theme card was "Just Say Thanks".

For my theme card, I  used a Bugaboo image and for the sentiment I used a really old stamp that contains the alphabet and I then punched the letters out and placed them above the image.

I fussy cut the image and there was some white space left and I felt it detracted from the image and the card. So, I found a gray spectrum noir alcohol marker that matched up pretty well with the gray in the DP so I colored in all the white space and it matched up nicely. However this photo shows that gray marker kind of blue, but on the card it is more gray.

We had a wonderful time and planned our Christmas get together for next month. I have calls to make to get a reservation for  the 7 of us at a restaurant for our December meeting and we have 3 places on our list. (Some places will not take reservations, so I have 3 places, in order of preference, and hopefully one of these 3 will take reservations.)

SUPPLIES I USED ON MY PROJECT
Stamps:  Rubber Stamp - Circle Framed Alphabet - Great Impressions (still available on their site), Digital Bugaboo - Pumpkins and Leaves
Paper/Card Stock
: Orange CS, Black CS, White CS DP
Ink: Memento - Tangelo
Accessories: Spectrum Noir Markers, Small Circle Punch

We always have a challenge card to make as well, and I will share that one with you on Friday. So please stop back to check it one out. A hint - if you like CAS,  this one might be right up your alley.

I am submitting this card to the following challenges:

Thanks so much for stopping in today.  Hope you have a great week and stay warm.

You are Purrrfect

Hello Everyone

WOWSER!!! The month of May is half over already!! I can't believe it!!

It's time for the latest challenge over at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends

I am a huge cat lover. Have been since I was 3 years old.
Currently I have an orange tabby and a calico cat.
But in the past I have had siamese cats, gray tabbies, and other assorted breeds.
So when I spied this cute cat image over at Bugaboo, I just had to have it.

Speaking of Bugaboo, they are the sponsor for this this challenge at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends.

Right before I started this card,
I had just been gifted a pack of 12X12 papers with a kitty theme.
I call that perfect timing.
The papers went great with the kitty image I used.

Here is the end result for my card

I did my best to color this cutie to resemble a gray tabby that I once had.
All of the designer papers and the banner
are from an Echo Park paper pack
