Another quilt given to us from Lottie, my husband's grandma. I like to pull this quilt out during Christmas time and lay it on the back of our couch. Even though it has blue fabric in it I still think it speaks Christmas to me.

One more sneak peek with a vintage button on it.

Carrie, this is a wonderful quilt. I love it. You are very lucky to have family heirlooms that people have made and that you are the proud owner of. This one is perfect. Thanks for sharing, Stephanie
I'm sure you must just love the heart-warming quilts you have from years past. What love..
I'm baffled and I'm confused........LOL.....I guess hubby was right all along....I'm lost. I have NO clue now about the sneak peak. Carrie - you have made this such fun for me.
How many quilts did you receive from her? How wonderful to have so many treasures.
BTW...I like buttons too.
You have been given some wonderful quilts!
Another lovely Quilt Carrie, you're so fortunate to have so many quilts from your grandma.
I like this one - you are right it does look Christmasy. I think it's the sashing along with the red.
It does look Christmasy to me too.
Crispy
I wouldn't have guessed it had blue fabrics in it when I saw the first photo. It does look like something to use at Christmas time.
So many quilting treasures you've been sharing lately...love the sneak peek too...vintage buttons are wonderful!
Another wonderful old quilt. You sure know how to build suspense!
I love these sneak peeks!! But I am busting at the seams here!!!
Vintage quilts make me want to know more about them. There is something so lovely about age on a quilt.
I agree with you-- that quilt definitely seems to have a festive feel to it. It is lovely!
Another fun sneak peek, Carrie! :)
So awesome! I don't have ONE old quilt. Doesn't seem as though anyone in my family quilted. Which is so hard to believe. Love this quilt. Yes, very Christmasy. ;o)
Wow! Nice old quilt! It looks like Christmas to me as well.
With this latest sneak peak, I'm totally flummoxed and even more curious.
In stitches,
Teresa :o)
Carrie, I am trying so hard to be happy for you and not jealous, but boy you are making it hard!! Just beautiful!!!
I'm sure Lottie is so happy that this quilt she spent so much time on is being treasured. It is beautiful in so many ways.
I love this quilt! It reminds me of a vintage one I have here! Kind of "baseball and apple pie" if that makes sense...LOL.
A button...hmmmm, intriguing!

It looks like you have a lovely collection given to you from grandmothers. Love vintage buttons, cute sneak peek.
Oh Carrie, another beautiful old quilt - yes it's very Christmassey! You are so blessed to have such wonderful treasures! Nobody in my family quilted at all. I get my treasures at the thrift store.
Love the peek with the button and lace.....oh my....
Another lovely to be sure!
How do you display them when they're not in use, Carrie?
I think this sneak peek is going to do me in...gorgeous fabric, lace and a vintage button. Sigh.
Wow, Carrie. It's amazing how prolific your husband's grandmother was - especially since she did everything by hand! Thanks for showing them.
I agree, that is very definitely a Christmassy quilt. It looks quite large; it must have taken quite a while to make. You are lucky to have such wonderful family heirlooms to treasure.
The fabric, lace and button on this sneak peek are gorgeous. I just love floral fabrics!!!
