Cheeky Geeky Corner Bookmark!

I have a few birthdays coming up for Georgia's school friends and like to keep a stock of cute corner bookmarks to add to their birthday cards...so here is the latest.

I have used a cute stamp from The Greeting Farm called Cheeky Geeky. She is stamped onto Craftwork Cards Digital Cardstock using Momento Ink in Tuxedo Black, and coloured with Copics.

I have used up scraps to make the bookmark the biggest piece you need is the cardstock measuring 4x4 inches. They are a great way to use up scraps and the kids love them...I have lost count of the number I have made and then given to my daughters friends for their birthdays. This time I have used scaps of red cardstock and scraps of My Minds Eye Lost & Found 3 - Ruby. Embellished with some seam binding, a sticker and a sentiment made with a Dymo style machine.

If you want instructions leave a comment with your email address and I will send you them.

So I finally decided to ink up on of the recent stamps from The Greeting Farm called Anya Styles...She was stamped using Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black onto Craftwork Cards Digital Cardstock, and coloured with Copics. The papers are all by Echo Park from the Yours Truly pad (last years Valentines range). As soon as I saw her I thought of Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe" so added that to the journal card from that range....with a little Dymo added to finish the sentiment off. The banner was also done with bits from the same line and added with some Bakers Twine called Divine Twine in Peppermint. Anya has been trimmed and added to the card using 3D foam pads.

They are a mix of fab pink/aqua/black papers they are all double sided...one side is glittery and the other plain...there are even die-cut pages, which I have then layered with some Bazzill Black cardstock. I have embellished with some black tulle, a couple of pins, a Craftwork Card sentiment and a Prima bling corner. Mini Christmas Cards...

I so need to get started making some Christmas Cards, so when Tracy @ Dies to Die For sent me a set of The Greeting Farm stamps....I got cracking...

These are very small cards by Craftwork Cards and using one of the stamps from the Holiday Blessings set and Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, I stamped out the background. I then took each of the other three stamps from the set and using the same ink stamped them onto Craftwork Cards Digital Cardstock. I coloured the images with Copics using R37/YG11/Y32/Y28 and added some Stickles to each image. I then mounted each image onto some scraps of red cardstock and added 3D foam pads to each one. I finished off each card with a little My Minds Eye Washi Tape (this came from Tracy but I cannot see it in the shop at the moment).

Here is a closer look of the one hiding in the picture above.
These stamps are a quick way to make your Christmas Cards...they are perfect for Kids to give to their school friends.

Dies to Die For September Challenge...

This month over on the Dies to Die For Blog our challenge is Spots &/or Stripes. For my card I have used one of the new The Greeting Farm stamps called Anya Treats. These stamps are a little larger than the regular Anya & Miss Anya stamps and are limited editions...so grab them while you can. I have coloured her with Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair - 100/C3
Clothing - R81/R83/R85/C0/C1/C2/C3/C5/C9
The papers are all The Paper Company Girlfriends, and I have layered them with some Craftwork Cards Shimmer Cardstock. I added the doily that was given to me in a RAK from the lovely and super talented Damaris. I used the sentiment from the stamp set plus a Craftwork Cards die-cut one. The "love" flair button is by American Crafts and the clip is a really really old (2005) Lil' Davis one and has the word "adore" on it. I thought it appropriate to do a card with Cupcakes on as it is National Cupcake Week (according to posts I keep seeing on Facebook).

Be sure to check out the challenge and join in with us for a chance to win a £25 store voucher.
