Daring Cardmakers "White Christmas...with a little pink"

The challenge over on Daring Cardmakers this week is "White Christmas....with a hint of pink". For my card I use another of the Me to You Bear images that I got from eBay. I have coloured the image with ProMarkers using the following colours...
Ice Grey 1 (Bear)
Ice Grey 1 (Paw Pad & Patch)
Pastel Blue (Nose)
Rose Pink (Scarf)
The paper is KI Memories Love Elsie "Noel", this is such a simple card, the only other items I used were some Bazzill Tulle and a snowflake charm, and of course a touch of Stickles "Crystal" glitter.

The DT cards were gorgeous....mine was copied from the LO of both of Kathy's fabby cards.

Papertake Weekly Challenge - Dawny's Sketch #3

Here is a card I made using the sketch by Dawny over on Papertake Weekly Challenge Blog. I have used Tilda decorating with the branch stamp. All the images have been coloured with ProMarkers using the following colours...
Ivory/Blush (Skin)
Cinnamon/Cocoa (Hair)
Moss (Dress)
Rose Pink (Tights)
Cinnamon (Basket)
Ruby/Moss (Baubles in Basket)
Forest Green (Branch)
Ruby/Metallic Gold (Hearts on the Branch)
I have used scraps of K&Co "Peppermint Twist" papers, a Prima flower with the sentiment by Stampendous. The final touches of sparkle have been added with Stickles and Sakura clear glitter gel pen.

I am so busy at the moment that I am not able to keep up with all the challenges. I have lots of stuff to sort for the Christmas Bazaar at Georgia's school, plus ScrapaGoGo DT work to complete with December kit by the weekend....so no rest for the wicked.

Ivory/Blush (Skin)
Pastel Yellow/Mustard (Edwin's Hair)

The papers I have used are from a K&Co Peppermint Twist paper pad that Marlene & I got at Ally Pally and split...and I have used almost all of my half. I have also added some Prima Blossoms, a Snowflake charm, and the ribbon with the pom poms on came from a hair bobble that came from Asda, and I have finished off the card by adding a Stampendous sentiment, some bling and some Stickles "Star Dust" glitter.

Take a peek over on the Sketch Saturday blog and see the wonderful DT cards.

Stampin' Up and hAnglar & stAnglar

I went to my first Stampin' Up party on Thursday since the new catalogue came out and started to make a couple of items. I made the basics of the card above, although I cocked up and had to remove part of it due to a grammar mistake...I put First Happy Birthday, instead of Happy First Birthday...what a doughnut.... Anyway originally I used the light blue cardstock and jumbo roller with the circles/dots on with a Versamark inkpad....but had to swap it for a scrap of Bazzill I had in a darker blue. Anyway the base of the card if the cream (not sure of the SU colour) the dark brown is Choc Chip and I am not sure of the lighter brown...so I am pretty useless really. Over the weekend I added the hAnglar & stAnglar "Boy on the Bike" from the Winter Club Kit coloured with ProMarkers using the following colours...
Ivory/Blush (Skin)
Pastel Yellow/Gold (Hair)
Cornflower (Jeans & Neckerchief)
Blue Pearl/Sandstone (Top)
Blue Pearl (Cap)
Cocoa (Shoes)
Cinnamon/Ice Grey 1,2 & 3 (Bicycle)
I use my Nestabiities to cut the oval, and added a kite stamp by Magnolia cololoured using ProMarkers and the same colours as the main image, with added embroidery thread to make the strings of the kite. The sentiment was done using DoodleBug stamps and Stampendous stamps, and finally to finish it off a few buttons from my stash.

This next card was made using the offcut of the background paper I made at the party....the scrap of the part I cocked up on the previous card. Again I added a hAnglar & stAnglar image and coloured with my ProMarkers...colours as follows...
Ivory/Blush (Skin)
Pastel Yellow/Gold (Hair)
Sandstone (Banner)
Pastel Blue (Shadow)
Finished off with a pice of SU Choc Chip Taffeta...such a simple little card and at 3 x 3 inches...my DD loved it.

Sketch Saturday - Sketch #16

I noticed a new (to me) Challenge Blog called Sketch Saturday and I do love a good sketch, so decided to play along....and here is my card.

I love the new Forever Friends range, I bought a few of the 6x6 Paper Pads...they are fab. I have used one of the Christmas ones here. The main image has been created by cutting up one of the sheets of paper. The sentiments are by Stampendous (Happy Holidays) and Kelly Panacci (No Peeking). With added bling from my stash to finish it off.

So if you can't afford the stamps, get the pad at £3.99 and there are plenty of images that can be cut to make a focal point on your cards.

Penny Black Saturday Challenge 14 "A Man's Card - No Blue"

So this week over on Penny Black Saturday Challenge Blog the challenge is to make "A Man's Card" using NO blue.

So I have used an image given to me in a swap with a friend (Thanks Hun x), so I am not sure what he is called. I have coloured him with my ProMarkers using the following colours...
Ivory/Vanilla/Blush (Skin)
Warm Grey 2 (Hat & Trouser stripes)
Warm Grey 1 (Collar and Trousers)
Umber (Boots)
Sandstone (Dog)
Apricot (Dogs hat)
Gold (Stars)
Marsh Green (Plane)
Cocoa (Hair)

The papers are Fancy Pants "Papa" collection with a sentiment by Stampendous.

This was a tough one, as I am short of Penny Black Stamps (especially male ones) and images. The DT's cards were gorgeous as always.

A Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge 8 "One for the Girls"

This weeks challenge over on A Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge Blog is "One for the Girl". So as my new Sugar Nellies arrived yesterday...I couldn't resist.

I have used the new Pen Pal stamp, with a sentiment by Stampendous. The papers and ribbon are all by Bo Bunnywith added bling by Kan Ban. The tab was made using my new Stampin' Uo punch.

I had a little accident while making this card late last night....I dropped my ink pad on the original stamped image...after I had spent ages colouring....

So being me I couldn't not leave it unfinish...so stamped again and coloured and finally finished at 2.30am....

Lovely work from the DT again this week...such a talented bunch.

Friday Sketchers - Sketch 7 & Penny Black Saturday Challenge - Challenge 2 Friendship

I have combined another challenge. This time I have used this weeks sketched by Mumur over on Friday Sketchers, with a Friendship theme using a Penny Black stamp for Penny Black Saturday Challenge.

Nephew's Birthday Card

It is my nephew Sean's 4th Birthday on Monday so I have made this card specially for him. The stamp is by Hanglar & StAnglar and the sentiment is by Stampendous. The papers are K&Co "Hopscotch Boy" and the stickers for "Sean" are by Doodlebug.
Let's hope he likes it.

Georgia were supposed to be out today, but plans changed at the last minute, which wasn't a problem as I feel carp...and full of cold again. We are however going to my family tomorrow for Sunday lunch as David is working again tomorrow, but fingers crossed he will be finished tomorrow so can have Monday off.
