Just Magnolia meets Sketch Saturday!

Here is a card I made using this weeks sketch over on Sketch Saturday and the theme over on Just Magnolia.

For my card I have used "Happy Tilda", which I have coloured with Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair - E50/E51/E53
Clothing - R20/R21/BG11/BG13
The papers are My Minds Eye "Be Loved", I kept the card pretty simply embellished as they papers were so gorgeous. All I have added is a coupon stamped with a Studio G stamp, some Heidi Grace decorative pins, and some sentiments by Craftwork Cards.

Be sure to pop over to both blogs and check out their challenge and the gorgeous DT cards.

***ETA - The Studio G stamp is from Series 24 and was from the US/Canada....I was very lucky to receive it as a gift. I have seen them on eBay...

Friday Sketchers - Sketch 43 by Carole of England

Here is a card I made using the lovely sketch provided this week over on Friday Sketchers by Carole (who I was very lucky to meet at the NEC on Thursday....Hi Carole). For my card I have used a couple of stamps that I bought that day from the Magnolia stand...from the St Patrick's Collection. I have stamped both the images with Versafine ink onto Hot Pressed Paper and coloured with Distress Inks using the following colours...
Tattered Rose (Skin)
Antique Linen/Walnut Stain (Hair)
Worn Lipstick (Dress, Shoes & Hat)
Peeled Paint (Bow on Hat & Four Leaf Clover/Shamrock)
Black Soot (Horseshoe)
To make the image sparkle I have added Sakura clear glitter gel pen to her hair and the clover/shamrock. The papers I have used are by Black Market Paper Society "Letters from Paradise" that I got from Stampezee in Coventry, and I have also used some Stampin' Up Choc Chip cardstock. For the finishing touch I have added some bling to the end of each swirl, and added a sentinement by Studio G punched with a tag punch by Woodware.

As you can see from the picture below, I have decorated the insides with scraps of the papers used on the front.
Thanks so much to Carole for a lovely sketch and of course to the DT for the stunning cards.
Hugs,

Friday Sketchers - Sketch 27 by Kristine of Norway

Over on Friday Sketchers this week there is a fab sketch provided by Kristine from Norway, and as always some gorgeous DT cards to inspire you.

For my card I have used the new Magnolia Tilda as Lucia stap that I received on Thursday. I have coloured her with ProMarkers using the following colours...
Ivory/Blush (Skin)
Pastel Yellow/Mustard/Gold (Hair)
Blush (Wreath in hair)
Ruby (Sash around waist)
Gold (Flame of candle)
Pastel Blue (Shadow)
I have also added some cool grey 1 highlights to the white dress, and Sakura clear glitter gel pen on her hair and the flame of the candle. I also used the big "Silent Night" background having masked Tilda before I stamped it. The card I used was Stampin' Up Choc Chip, and the patterned paper is from the DCWV 6x6 paper pad. To embellish the card I added three layers ofPrima Blossoms attached with a brad and spacer, and added some Sakura clear glitter gel pen to make it sparkle. The ribbon is also by Stampin' Up and is the Choc Chip Taffeta, with a gold heart pin through it with an added tag that I punched with a new punch I bought by Woodware. Finally I added a sentiment from Studio G "Merry Christmas, and the "Angel" is from a mini set by Woodware, and also gently inked the background of the stamped image with Versa Magic chalk ink in "wheat", as the white cardstock was just too white and stood out too much.

I am really pleased with how it turned out, and I am loving that "Silent Night" background stamp....

Penny Black Saturday Challenge 7 "Down on the Farm"

The challenge this week over on Penny Black Saturday Challenge Blog is "Down on the Farm". Lucky for me Marlene let me stamp this image on Thursday or I wouldn't have been able to take part as I don't own and PB Farm Animal Stamps.

Anyway, I have used Chatterbox "Sun Room" papers that I dug out from the bottom of my stash. American Craft ribbon, MAMBI Bling flower, and other bling from my stash. The sentiment is by Studio G, plus a few doodlebug rubons. As always I have coloured with Prismacolor's and blended with Sansador using paper stumps.

I am slowly working my way through the challenges I missed over the weekend, plus working on a couple more layouts.

Tomorrow Georgia starts her Holiday club at the local leisure centre. She is going three days a week for the rest of the holidays allowing me to work, and her to have fun with her friends from school.

Friday Sketchers - Sketch 10

Last night I made this card with this weeks sketch over on Friday Sketchers Challenge Blog. The sketch is by Heidi from Norway and it's fab.

For my card I have used Prima Marketing "Angelique" papers, I have added Sakura clear glitter gel pen to the papers for added sparkle. The "couple" image is by hAnglar & stAnglar, and I have added the Magnolia vine border to the edges of the circle. The sentiment is one of the value stamps by Studio G. The finishing touches are some pearl bling and a WRMK designer brad.

Thank you ladies for such a fab sketch and your wonderful inspiration.
