SJ's Little Musing

Here is a card I made with this weeks Little Musing. I took the dressform image that was precoloured, and trimmed. Layered with some torn Websters Pages papers from one of the 6x6 pads and added lace, flowers and a Craftwork Cards sentiment.

Pretty simple I think, but fun to try something out of my comfort zone.

I am off to Ally Pally tomorrow for the Big Stamp & Scrapbooking Show...I won a couple of free tickets so I am taking my DD...with DH to act as babysitter and bag carrier (he wasn't supposed to be home from Liverpool....so I had to make a last minute adjustment to the plans!). So if you see me and recognise me (my fair is blonder again...no darker hair die), please say "Hello".

Sj's Little Musings Valentine Giveaway....

SJ is giving away one lucky person who leaves me a comment this cute freebie. These images were available to buy last week, but this week you just need to leave me a comment by midnight (GMT) on Friday 11th. These little typewriters are perfect for making a cute but not too cute Valentines card....

Here is a card I made using the cute typewriter. You can either add text like I did or you can always add the text in your graphics package.
Remember if you love these you will love the cute telephones she gave away last week HERE....they go together so perfectly.

SJ's Little Musings Friday Freebie and Buy it Now!

It's Friday Freebie time over on SJ's Little Musings Blog, this week the freebie is a cute telephone. She also has a Buy It Now called Love2Type, and for the bargain price of £1.50 you receive 11...yes 11 images, some coloured, some uncoloured and some with text and some without. Also in her Folksy store you car buy a postcard of the image I have used, which she will personalise...for me she left it blank as I wanted to make quite a few, so I added some MM mini alphas to mine, and created the rest of the sentiment in MS Word using a Love Letters (typewriter) font. The papers are all Bo Bunny Crush and I have layered them with some black Bazzill cardstock. The hearts were punched from the papers using an SU punch.

I have also used this weeks sketch over on Papertake Weekly (although I made the main image square instead of circular), and followed the theme over on A Spoon Full of Sugar, so please pop over there and check out their challenges.

SJ's Little Musings - Romantic Veggies!

This week over on SJ's Little Musings she has a super cute Buy It Now. Now you know that SJ's is sometimes just a little crazy....cute crazy, well she was inspired by romanic vegetable quotes in films for this one....think Forrest Gump Jenny and Me are like Peas and Carrots and Pretty Woman when Julia Roberts mentions vegging out and laying like broccoli. For just £1.50 you can receive this image plus loads more...

I have used the pre-coloured image and matched to to some October Afternoon papers from the Fly a Kite paper pad (grid and green spotted papers) and Prima Marketing Annalee 6x6 pad (pink paper), I have created the sentiment using a typewriter font and word, added some pearls, ribbon and a couple of heart pins.

I think these images will make such cute valetines cards...and are different to anything you will see in the shops....so go on over to SJ's Little Musings and B.I.N...

SJ's Little Musings...

This week over on SJ's Little Musing blog, SJ has created this wonderful cupcake set for you to buy....just £1.50 for an amazing set, cupcakes with interchangeable tops...this one is the muffin top. I decided that it would make a cute corner bookmark, and decoupaged the top and added some Stickles to the choc chips.

The base of the corner bookmark is made from Bazzill kraft cardstock and I added some random spotted paper from a really old (2006) kit that I found in a box. I added a bit of SU choc chip taffeta ribbons and a couple of Heidi Grace pins (again from 2006) plus some Making Memories mini alpha's.

So far I have made a total of 8 corner bookmarks, but one has been given as a gift...so I have 7 for the Christmas Craft Stall I am doing at the school later this year....want to make sure I am organised this time...LOL

Make sure you pop on over to SJ's Little Musings blog to see the full kit, plus the other fab creations.
