Back again....here is the simple card I made for this weeks challenge on CCT...Bonny Blues!
A very CAS card from me using a piece of MME Now and Then "Izzy" paper layered with silver mirror card. The "Happy" is cut using a Stampin' Up die from the "Hello You" Thinlits and the "Birthday" is by Paper Smooches "Bosom Buddy" stamp set. With a little chalk ink around the paper and sentiment...a very simple card from me.
I want to get back to my colouring...but haven't found enough time yet to have a practice...my colouring skills are a little rusty!

And Another Saturated Canary Card...
I made this one last week for my Niece Hannah's 13th Birthday. I coloured the image to look like her and Georgia. As before the image is by Saturated Canary and is called Best Friends Selfie which I have coloured with Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair - E50/E51/E53/E55/E57
Eyes - B21/B66/E23/E25
Clothing - B91/B93/B95/B97/BG10/BG45/YG00/YG03/YG25
Accessories - R21/R22/R24
The papers are all My Minds Eyes Find Your Wings & Fly, Up & Away layered with some random cardstock from my stash. I have embellished with a doily, and some washi tape, a Penny Black sentiment and I made the banner from twine and washi tape and added some Tim Holtz letters. I finished off by adding an old Heidi Swapp bling frame around the image.
Been doing some more colouring this week...so hopefully more cards soon.

Duh....
So I totally forgot to share my card for last weeks Cute Card Thursday Challenge which was Paw Pals....so here is the card, plus another I made at the same time...
So this one was for the challenge....the Paws are on the bear at the bottom of the Easel Card. The main image is a pre-coloured digi from Clipart Fairy and the papers are all My Minds Eye Love Me.
So here is another variation I made at the same time...
Both were custom orders, I added more embellishment to the first one as it was for a friend to give to her "Bestest Friend in the World"...
Feedback was the both of the new Mummy's loved their cards and kept showing them off....I love it when people love my cards.
I have another new card to share tomorrow for this weeks challenge on CCT...better make sure I remember to actually share it....

Dog Lovers card...
I had a request last week to make a card featuring a picture of the intended recipients dogs....and here is what I came up with.
So obviously the main image is the gorgeous dogs, and I matched the photo to some My Minds Eye - Lost & Found 2 - Rosy which I layered with some Bazzill black cardstock, added a doily, some seam binding, a heart pin, dog bone paperclip, MAMBI bling heart and a Craftwork Cards sentiment.
It came together so quickly and I am pleased with the colour match to the photo...I think this is the first time I have added a photo to one of my card.

CCT v SC Challenges...
So new challenges are up today on Cute Card Thursday and Saturated Canary Challenge blogs...so I did a little combining...
On Cute Card Thursday the challenge is Button Up, and one Saturated Canary it is Winged Things, so for my card I used one of the new Saturated Canary images from Krista called Comfy Slippers Fairy. I have coloured her with Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Eyes - B21/B66
Hair - E23/E27
Clothing - BG10/BG11/R20/R21/R22
The papers are all My Minds Eye Find Your Wings and Fly Up and Away, I have distressed all the edges with a Tim Holtz distressing tool added a doily, some washi tape, stickers, chipboard attached with bakers twine and buttons from the same MME range. I finished off with some SU seam binding, a Prima bling key and a Craftwork Cards sentiment.
Be sure to pop over and check out both of the challenges...some stunning work and if you join in there are prizes to be won too.

Stamping Bella - Uptown Girl...
Don't know about you, but I love these girls....if I could I would own them ALL....
So here is a card I made with one of them...
So I have used Faith the Fairy, and again I wanted to try the "no lines" colouring as I wanted to see if it worked better with different stamps...I stamped her onto Craftwork Cards Digital Cardstock with Memento Ink in Summer Sky and coloured her with Copics... I think I prefer how this one came out compared to last weeks Magnolia image...and the only thing I did differently was to use a pen to make the eyes stand out again..
So the papers on this card are all My Minds Eye Find Your Wings and Fly - Up & Away paper pad. I have added some MME Washi Tape and also some stickers...all from the same range. The "hold fast to your dreams" bit was cut from one of the sheets of paper in the pad, and I finished off with a doily, some twine, a Craftwork Cards tag sentiment and used the sentiment that comes with the image.
Be sure to pop back tomorrow to see what I have to share with you...

Rock On!
I finally made a card after have a break forced on me due to a bad back...
I have used the MFT Die-namics Rock & Roll die set with some scraps of Bazzill Kraft (base & stars) & Bling (flames) cardstock. The papers are a mixture of different My Minds Eye On the Bright Side - One (denim piece), Happier (orange piece), Lime Twist (star & teal pieces), and Basic Grey Basics Kraft paper pad. I have embellished with a few metal studs and letters a pack of My Minds Eye letters in the Follow Your Heart Up & Away range.
To make the flames more dimensional I have added some red chalk ink to the edges, and distressed all the papers which hopefully add to the masculine feel of the card...and I even have a recipient in mind for this one...
Will be back tomorrow with another card...

Something Simple....
For a Man in your life....
As most Men don't seem to appreciate the fussy cards, I made something using just papers, cardstock and a sentiment....so pretty simple for me.
I have used papers from the My Minds Eye Kate & Co Oxford Lane paper pad, and also cut one of the sheets that had sentiment type things on, to add the specs. The tie was cut by hand using a tie on one of the pieces of paper as a guide/idea of shape...I then finished off with a quick Craftwork Cards sentiment...
Over the weekend I have a Home Decor item I made using a little wooden tray that came in an old QVC kit I got donkeys years ago...the kit is long gone/given away....but I kept the little wooden embellishment tray....

Prima Mixed Media Doll Card...
So here is a card I made the other week with minimal colouring....
I have used one of the Prima Mixed Media Dolls stamped twice...once onto plain card and her skin and hair coloured with Copics and once onto patterned papers (My Minds Eye Union Square). I have added a Jenni Bowlin Bingo card, some black tulle, a Craftwork Cards sentiment and some gorgeous crochet lace ribbon with a velvet centre.
Have had a very busy few weeks, with school finishing soon, and Georgia moving to Secondary School in September...tomorrow is Transition Day...the whole day spent at her new school...very exciting!

Cute Card Thursday Challenge - Christmas in September!
This week over on the Cute Card Thursday Challenge we want to see your Christmas Cards!
We all need help getting an early start on making our Christmas Cards...hopefully this will help.
For my card I have used My Minds Eye Winter Wonderland papers backed with Red Shimmer Cardstock. I created the tree using a piece of the paper cut into a triangle to represent the tree (like the papers behind) and added bling to the dots. I have also added some My Minds Eye Washi Tape (Tracy @ Dies to Die For has it on order) to the top right too, and a Craftwork Cards sentiment.
Be sure to check out and join in with our challenge...you could win a prize from Whiff of Joy.
