Wild Card Wednesday - Punk It Up!

It's Wild Card Wednesday over on the Club Anya & Friends today, and as Guest DT it was my choice of theme...and I decided that I wanted to see your funky haired punky cards.

For my card I have used Eric, and coloured him with my Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair - B12/B29/C9
Eyes - B21
Clothing - C0/C1/C2/C3/C5/C7/C9
The papers are all DCWV "Rockstar" and I have also used some Bazzill & Coredinations cardstock. I have torn and distress the edges of all the papers and cardstock and embellished with some paper clips and a piece of chain from a broken necklace held with a couple of brads.

Be sure to pop over to the Club Anya & Friends blog and see the details, if you join in and add your card to the galleria, one lucky winner will win a digi image.

Cute Card Thursday "Lazy Dayz!"

This week over on Cute Card Thursday we have a theme of "Lazy Dayz!". We want to see your summer inspired cards/projects. We are also joined again by Guest DT Cathy, and sponsored this week by All That Scraps...so come on over and join in...the prize is your choice of 4 CC Designs Stamps....and they are so cute.

For my card I have used one of the new Miss Anyas, and she is coloured with Copics. The papers are all Basic Grey "Lemonade". I have added some ribbon from my stash and also some bling and created a sentiment in a tag using my punch and one of the Magnolia sentiment stamps. To finish off I have used my Nestabilities to create the scalloped oval for Miss Anya, and my EK Success swirl punch. I also created my own flower using circle punches, and then distress them, and they are held in place with a star brad.

Come over and join in this week......

Friday Sketchers - Sketch 7 & Penny Black Saturday Challenge - Challenge 2 Friendship

I have combined another challenge. This time I have used this weeks sketched by Mumur over on Friday Sketchers, with a Friendship theme using a Penny Black stamp for Penny Black Saturday Challenge.

The Penny Black stamp is called "City Divine", the handbag is by Magnolia and the sentiment is by Stampendous and comes from a set called "Happy Messages". I have used Dena's Closet "Friends".

Have had a busy weekend, which started with a party at Georgia's teacher from foundation last year, and then yesterday with my Dad and Niece coming to stay and us all going to my Cousins 40th birthday BBQ in Thame, and then a nice family day at home today....so now is my chance to craft...yay!

Cute Card Thursday Challenge 15 "Make a Birthday Card"

This weeks challenge over on Cute Card Thursday is to make a birthday card. So totally loving Marlene's card...I decided to use a similar colour scheme and the same hAnglar & stAnglar stamp. The papers are by Prima and Scenic Route from the May 2008 ScrapaGoGo "Create" kit. I have also added Making Memories buttons and flowers from the 5th Avenue range. The sentiment is by Hero Arts and coloured in my usual way.

I am really pleased with it, and love the colour combo.

A Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge 4 & ArtyGirlz Challenge 39

For only the second time ever....I am combining challenges. This weeks challenge on A Spoon Full of Sugar is to make a celebration card. Well I know this is a "Thank You" card, but I made it to send to a lady in Sweden as she ordered me lots of Hanglar & StAnglar stamps...one of which I used on this card.....so I am celebrating the fact that I now own some of these gorgeous stamps. For the challenge over on ArtyGirlz this week we had to use pink....no problem there...my biggest challenge is NOT using pink.

So I have used a Hanglar & StAnglar stamp for the main image, with the flowers from Magnolia, and the sentiment is two stamps from a set of "everyday messages" by Hero Arts. The papers are by SEI "Gertie's Garden" and I have added bling and Sakura clear glitter gel pen to the image.

Friday Sketchers - Sketch 6

This weeks sketch over on Friday Sketchers has been provided by DT member Jacqueline from the Netherlands. I am not so good at cards with a circle in them....I put that down to lack of a Cuttlebug and Nestabilities...LOL....no I haven't talked myself into buying one.

For this card I have used one of the Shabby Chic Tilda's and the Summer Background. The sentiment is by Stampin' Up "Circle of Friendship" set...they are a must have purchase. The papers are Basic Grey "Cupcake" and the ribbon is from the 99p range at Hobbycraft. As always the images are coloured with my Prismacolor's (apart from the grass, which was done with watercolours and the sky was done with a chalk ink pad) and blended with Sansador using paper stumps.

I have finally added a watermark to my card.....it has only taken me a while...LOL

Ismaki Challenge 23 by Beatrix

So finally I have finished. i don't know why but I always avoid sketches with the image in a circle....I am putting it down to not having a Cuttlebug and Nestabilities....am I making a strong enough case for buying one!!!

Anyway, I have used a Hanglar & StAnglar image given to me in a swap, and the sentiment stamp is by Hero Arts. The papers are by Making Memories "Noteworthy" and were left over from my January ScrapaGoGo kit, the letter stickers are by American Craft and were from the same kit. The ribbon was also in the kit, but I don't know the manufacturer...but it is just an organza ribbon. I have coloured the image with my Prismacolor's and blended with Sansador using paper stumps. To her hair I have added Sakura clear glitter gel pen, and Stickles to the centres of the flowers in her headress.

Once I got over the circle element, I really enjoyed the challenge this week, so much so that I am going to definately try it again.

Cute Card Thursday Challenge 14 "Three"

This weeks challenge over on Cute Card Thursday is to use three embellishments, and although I am suffering after having a tooth extraction this morning....making this card has helped me concentrate on something other than the pain.

I have used a Hanglar & StAnglar image given to me by a blogging friend. The papers are Sassafraslass "Serendipity" the sentiment stamp is by Hero Arts, for my three embellishments I have used Bling, Ribbon and I made the cupcake embellishments by stamping, colouring, and using glossy accents to make them into epoxy style and the added stickles for the sprinkles. The image is coloured with my Prismacolor's and blended with Sansador using paper stumps.

Thanks for the challenge this week, it certainly helped me take my mind off my teeth....if only for a while.

More Mini Thank You Cards

So here are the rest of the Mini Thank You cards I made for Georgia's school friends to say "Thanks" for her Birthday gifts....aren't they cute! I have coloured the images to match the colouring of the child they were made for. So the red haired Tilda is for Hannah, the Blonde is for Aarnnika, and the light brown is for Katherine...I hope they like them. I did another Boy one, but it was the same image as yesterday's one....apart from hair colour....blonde for James and dark brown for Lewis. All the cards are made with scraps of paper from Basic Grey....most is "Phoebe" but one is using scraps of "Sultry". The images are all Magnolia, Shabby Chic range or the Spring Stamp Club. The "Thank You" sentiment is by Hero Arts and as always I have coloured with my Prismacolors and blended with Sansador using my trusty paper stumps.

These mini cards are so cute, and make great cards for the little ones.

Friday Sketchers - Sketch 4

This weeks sketch over on Friday Sketchers is from Heidi.

I loved the simplicity of this sketch, but when you see the cards that the Friday Sketchers DT made, you can see that it is soooo much more.

The image is a Shabby Chic Tilda from Magnolia and the sentiment is by Hero Arts. I have used Prima "Dude Collection" papers, DCWV cardstock to matt the image, KI Memories Lace Cardstock "Stars", Doodlebug & American Craft buttons, American Craft ribbon. The Tilda is coloured with my Prismacolor's and blended with Sansador using paper stumps....I just love ma Prisma's...LOL

Thanks for the fab sketch Heidi.

Mini Thank You Card

Things have been crazy here, I have so many projects that I need to complete this week....and some urgent stuff for work. I finally finished my ScrapaGoGo June DT work....I did a couple of LO's and a small project...sadly I can't share yet....but if you are going to GoGo Getaway you will get so see them in the flesh...along with loads of my other projects and LO's.

So now in readiness for the weekend I just need to finish my passport and badge, and sort all my photos.....and get some new ones printed....not much to do.....yeah right!

Anyway along with all these things I also needed to make a Birthday gift (an accordian mini book), which I finished last night and will post pics this evening. And 6 Thank You cards for Georgia's friends to say thanks for the gifts they gave her for her birthday....so here is one of them...I have used one of the Shabby Chic Edwins, the sentiment is by Hero Arts and the papers are Basic Grey "Phoebe". I have used my trusty Prismacolor 's and blended with Sansador using paper stumps. This card is only very slightly larger than an ATC and measures 2.5x4 inches....and is super cute.

Cute Card Thursday Challenge 10 "Vacation/Travel"

This weeks challenge over on Cute Card Thursday is "Vacation/Travel", now I think this is a popular theme this week....maybe all the challenge blog DT's are on the same wavelength as they all seem to have chosen the same/similar challenges. Anyway this week I have used another Penny Black stamp. I got this stamp a few years ago on eBay in an auction that included three cat stamps. The papers are 7Gypsies and I have used some KI Memories Love Elsie "Toby" rubons and epoxy stickers. The other stamp is by Imaginisce and the ribbon is by American Craft.

Thanks for the challenge, more great work from the DT again this week....a group of very talented ladies.
