All That Scraps Weekly Wednesday Challenge - Valentines

This week over on the All That Scraps Weekly Wednesday Challenge Blog the theme is Valentines. I have made these cute acetate boxes containing some heart chocolates. I found the instructions for these cute boxes on Splitcoast Stampers, they were slightly bigger so all I did was reduce the size of the piece of acetate. These cute little boxes measure 2 x 3 inches, and were all just made with cardstock, acetate and a trimmer and Scor-Pal....and of course some double slided tape. I have filled the inside with 4 heart chocolates and the tissue paper also has some stamped red lips on it. The outside is decorated with a label tag punched with my Nesties, the digi images I have coloured with Copics using the following colours...
Bear - E30/E31/R20
Wings - R11/R20/R21/R22
Boxers - R21/R22/R37
The sentiment is by Stampendous "Mini Heart Bracket" which I have also coloured with Copics. I have added some little lips that I stamped with my new Anna Griffin set.
So I only need to make another 13 of these for Georgia's class mates...and then something for her teacher and the teaching assistant. Better get cracking this weekend as I only have one week, as half term in on the 12th.....arrrrggghhhhh.

Friday Sketchers #81

Just a quick post from me this afternoon as we are in the middle of putting the Christmas tree and decorations up... Last night I made this card using the sketch over on Friday Sketchers.

I have used one of the Christmas CC Designs stamps and coloured him with Copics using the following colours...

Top - B97/E49
Shoes - E43/E49
Decorations - R46/YG95/BG10/BG11
The papers are all by My Minds Eye from the "Wonderful Winter" glittered stack, and I have added a sentiment by Craftwork Cards and also a couple of buttons tied with Karen Fosters Scrappers Floss.

I have to dash now as I can hear a disagreement between Georgia and Hubby, about the decorations going on downstairs...

Don't forget to come back tomorrow to see my Anyone for Anya? card...

All That Scraps Weekly Wednesday Challenge - Christmas

I got a little confused this week with the challenge over on All That Scraps Weekly Wednesday Challenge as I thought there was a sketch....which was actually last week....LOL. Luckily I made a Christmas card, and the actual theme this week is Christmas...so it was all good in the end.

I have used one of the Swiss Pixies called "Birgitte", and she has been coloured with Copics with DecoArt Glamour Dust added to the bottom of her dress and her hat. The papers are all Bo Bunny Press "Tis the Season" and they are layered with Bazill & Bazzill Bling cardstock. I also embellished with star pins from Tabby Crafts, Poinsetta from Bee Crafty, bling from my stash and a sentiment by Craftwork Cards. I have also "glimmered and glamoured" the poinsetta for extra sparkle.

Tonight we are getting the tree down, the decorations up and the lights up outside....well maybe the lights will have to wait until the morning...LOL. Georgia and I are off to a Christmas Bazaar at the school she left back in the summer...it will be nice to catch up with everyone.

I have also used a couple of Martha Stewart punches, one for the snowflake and one to create the double scallop. Finally I have added some bling and ribbon from my stash and a sentiment by Craftwork Cards. Also as you can see from the side shot below the papers are all glittered and I have added glitter to the Flowersoft I used on the image, some Doodlebug glitter on the bauble, DecoArt Glamour Dust to the snowflakes and some Sakura clear glitter gel pen to the wings on the main image...so it really dones sparkle.
I have also used the sketch over on Sketch Saturday, which I have rotated through 90 degrees.

On a happy note today, I won last weeks challenge over on the All That Scraps Challenge Blog....so I got to choose FOUR CC Designs stamps, so I chose the new Sweet November stamps.
