CND Shellac Day Fourteen

The time has come to see if the the Shellac lives up to it's two week promise....

Unfortunately, for me, I didn't have the best results. I don't think the results I had were typical of the product as I've seen plenty of pictures of what this looks like at two weeks and the results are much better. However, I am still in love with this new technology and my plans to eventually get this done again. I would recommend it to everyone I know and my mom recently got it done too. Everyone should at least give it one try.

On the nails where it is completely off it is because I picked at them once the product was lifted a bit from the tips of my nails. It's a really bad habit of mine. I'm curious to know why it lifted off my nail bed though? I do not know. I made a move overseas, got a cold, and being constantly packed and repacking my things, but I don't think that's the cause of the lifting. Guess I will have to wait to get this done again to see if I have better results in the future when I'm under less stress.

For the first week and a half my Shellac manicure was amazing. So start calling salons or go on here: http://www.cnd.com/Locate/Shellac-Find-A-Salon.aspx to locate a Salon that does Shellac!

CND Shellac Day Seven

It has been one week since I had my nails done with CND Shellac. I am very pleased with the results. My favorite part is that I've had absolutely no dents! The color is also just as bright and shiny as the day it was applied. I've had a few chips but they are usually hardly noticeable. And to be fair the chips were from where my nail that peeled and the polish had to peel off with it. The first night I did nick the tip of my nail with my razor so I had to file down that nail a bit.

It's interesting to see the growth of my nails after one week. While I'm going to keep this on the full two weeks I don't know if in the future I am willing to show this much growth between my cuticles and polish.

Here is a picture at seven days...

And for reference again this is Day 2...

I would recommend that anyone who regularly gets manicures and or enjoys wearing nail polish to give this a try at least once. It's totally worth it to get it done as it definitely out lasts normal polish. I think others had better results in the long term then I did but I'm totally itching to get this done again in the future.

CND Shellac Day 2

This is going to be very very very quick. As I am leaving in 30 minutes to go to the airport. I'm flying out at 7pm and will be arriving in Switzerland the next day.

So last night I got my nails Shellac at a local salon where I got my haircut last night. When I walked in for my appointment I noticed a sign that they started doing the Shellac! I inquired right away and they were able to squeeze me in later that night! So last night I had my nail Shellac in Wildfire! It was the best manicure I have ever gotten. It took thirty minutes and I was able to walk out without worrying about denting my nails. This will last two weeks will not chip, dent, or smudge. It's perfect timing because with my move to Switzerland I won't have much time to do my nails.

Here is a quick picture of Day 2

Can't wait for them to start releasing more colors for this product!
