Enamel pitcher from Zinnia Cottage. I'd have a shelf full of these things if I had the space. Lovely.

Child's Abacus from Open Drawer. This would be so great in Ellie's room! I really must start collecting some items like this.

Nice.
Finally, 6 weeks late my Christmas present arrived. We had a little mix up, but now she's here and I love her.
My poor laptop has gone about 6 months without a case, but now she has a beautiful hand made home.
If it's of interest to you, this case is from here.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone. I seriously need this one, do you?

Yep, another giveaway.
Because it's Sew Mama Sew giveaway day, because I like you, and because it's Christmas. :)
This is one of my new brooches in shop for Christmas, I made them up as I was looking to make something that was a small, sweet and not too pricey stocking filler for the Christmas season.
And now I'm giving one away!
This little one features a pretty red Liberty of London print (perfect Christmas colour!)
To be in the draw, leave a comment on this post. Entries close Saturday 18th December, 12 midday, [Australian EDST] and I'll randomly draw a winner and announce it on Saturday night. Yes, I will post internationally!
Happy Christmas!

Handmade Living Blog Tour
Hello! I'm excited, because the release of Handmade Living is not too far away! You will be able to purchase your copy from the Handmade Market this weekend, in my shop from the 4th December or in bookstores from Monday 6th. This book would make a really nice Christmas gift for crafty friends, or even friends who would love to start their handmade journey but don't quite know where to begin. It features some fantastic gift ideas that you could whip up quickly too.
If you'd like a sneak peak inside, then come and follow the Handmade Living Blog Tour where today, the very talented Ros of Grace Designs is guest posting at A Spoonful of Sugar Blog. If you pop over now, you can have a little peek at one of my items included in the book, and a few others too! (Yum!)

Hope you're all having a lovely week, it's wet wet wet here in Sydney, we're suffering from a little cabin fever, but we can't complain as I'm sure we are in for a long hot Summer.

I'm back from a flying visit over the weekend to Melbourne. It was a great time with friends, just too much to get through in 48 hours! Back Sunday at 11pm meant I was really hurting yesterday morning getting up early and being at work at 8am, but it was worth it! I'll post some pictures of a few favourites later in the week. Have a fabulous week everyone. xx

My creative space.
Finally beat the kid and got some photography completed! This little coin purse with vintage lace and vintage cotton lining is now in shop. A few more might be in next week if you keep your eyes peeled.
Today I'm off to Melbourne for a girls weekend! I really really need to browse and spend a little time like this without 2 year old in tow....yep, we had a shocker on Tuesday at the shops. I'm really hoping to find a couple of good op shops and possibly stop by here if my buddies will let me...
Plenty more MCS's here

Weekend Sewing
Hooray! I got some sewing done on the weekend. I had Saturday afternoon to myself, so completed a few more vintage lace coin purses for the shop. They'll be in store soon, once I've photographed and listed them.
I also enjoyed my iceberg rose in full bloom and couldn't help picking some for my desk - I'm such a sucker for flowers in the home and look forward to it flowering whenever it's not (which is not all that often). Anyway, have a lovely week everyone, today I'm shopping for 2 year old sandals with a 2 year old (ugh!). Wish me luck.

My creative space.
This week...a little iPod/iPhone pouch finished, listed in shop, sold and now off to a lovely customer. Now I'm really looking forward to some quarantined sewing time this weekend (thank you Mr E! xx)... I cannot wait to sink my teeth into some more of these and get them listed for Christmas.

New in shop
While off on my break I've had more time to think about new products and more time to play around with ideas. Seriously, it's been doing my head in. I'm lying awake at all hours dreaming things up and trying to work out patterns in my brain. I have so many new ideas I can't keep up and it's driving me crazy! Anyone have this feeling too? I have ideas for the shop, ideas for gifts, ideas for me, ideas for kid clothes and ideas for how I can get it all done before Christmas...I'm sure many of you know what I mean. It's a hard switch to turn off.
A couple of weeks ago I started on these new design bibs, and they're now in shop. They're a cute handmade alternative for little people to wear and I'm quite pleased with them. The lovely Ros mentioned they might be a nice thing for your kidlet to wear to a wedding, restaurant or christening, and I think that's a great idea. Sweet and small new baby gift too I think.
All lined with double cotton flannel, they're perfectly absorbant, and are machine washable. Of course, they're made with natural linen and some lovely vintage cotton prints!

Thank you and please go to sleep.
A quick thank you to Anna from Brooklynbibshop for including me in this delightful treasury titled lovely linen last week. If you're a lover of all things linen, this is one for you to check out! Gorgeous. See it here.
In other news, I've got an overtired, teething 2 year old who does not want to sleep tonight, so I'm writing this in between going in and out of her room. We're heading on 2 hours of crying and wanting to be held. I've tried absolutely everything in my bag of tricks, so here's hoping she gets real sleepy real soon....
