For a Boy

Time for a new challenge at One Stitch at a Time and the theme is For a Boy.

For my card I've used this sweet Blockhead digi stamp by Stitchy:

I coloured the image with my Prismacolor pencils...

...and teamed it with nostalgic pastel papers, a die-cut greeting, and some pretty flowers.

You can enter the challenge as many times as you like if you use a Stitchy Bear product and will be in with a chance of winning our main prize. Entries not using a Stitchy Bear product are limited to 3 and will be entered into the draw to win a $3 gift voucher to the Stitchy Bear Digi Outlet.

Girly

Time for a new challenge at One Stitch at a Time and this week it's Girly.

I used Delicious Doodle's Astrology  Scorpio digi stamp which I coloured with my Promarkers:

I teamed it with patterned papers, some gemstone flourishes and a large layered flower cut with Tim Holtz's Tattered Florals die.

Use a Digi

Time for a new challenge at One Stitch at a Time and this week it's "Use a Digi". To enter the challenge you need to use a digi element somewhere on your creation - that could be a digi stamp, digi papers, even a computer-generated sentiment.

For my card I used this fabulously cute and sassy "Anna Mae Party Bunny Girl" digi stamp by Scrapper's Delight.

Isn't she fab? I love her cute and manga style. I coloured her with my Promarkers and gave her some quirky pink hair. :)

I seem to be on a bit of a pink and blue craze in my cards lately and this one is no exception. I used some pretty patterned papers and a die-cut frame (cut from sparkly pink card) and embossed a panel of card to fit inside the frame.

I finished things off with some little dots of Perlen Pen.

You don't need to use a Stitchy Bear product to enter the OSAAT challenges but if you do you'll be in with a chance of winning our main prize. Entries not using a Stitchy Bear product will be entered into the draw to win a $3 gift voucher for the Stitchy Bear Digi Outlet.

With Love

Valentine's Day will soon be upon us and the challenge theme at One Stitch at a Time this week is naturally all about love... :) To enter our challenge, make a project using the theme "With Love" - you can interpret that however you like.

For my card this week I used this pretty digi stamp by My Heart Pieces called Beautiful Nature:

I coloured the image with my Promarkers and used a white gel pen to add highlights:

I cut the image out using my favourite decorative oval die and kept my card fairly simple with some patterned papers in toning colours and a length of decorative canvas ribbon.

White + 1

This week's challenge at One Stitch at a Time is one to hopefully make you get creative and think outside the box... the theme is White + 1. So on your project you can use only white and one other colour (and also skin colour - that's allowed). It's harder than you might think! :)

For my card I was using this cute and sassy MeowMe digistamp by BBKakes:

I coloured in the image with my Promarkers using only skin tones and shades of orange and then carefully cut her out:

I trimmed a panel of white card to fit my card blank and die-cut a decorative aperture in the centre before embossing the entire panel (the pattern reminded me of tiger stripes) and blending a little Spiced Marmalade Distress Ink around the edges.

I attached the panel to my card front and added some die-cut leafy flourishes and attached my cut-out image over the aperture using foam tape. To finish I dotted some Perlen Pen around the aperture.

You don't need to use a Stitchy Bear product to enter our challenge but if you do, you'll have a chance to win our main prize for this week. Entries not using a Stitchy Bear product will be entered into the draw to win a $3 gift voucher for the Stitchy Bear Digi Outlet.

Whoops!

Things have been kerrr-azy busy here lately and consequently I am running a teensy bit late with this post - whoops!

Anyhoo, after our epic 4 week long challenge over the holidays, One Stitch At A Time is back with a new challenge for the new year and the theme is - Starting New. :)

For my card I used Ike's Art's fabulous New Fairy digi stamp:

I coloured her in with my Promarkers and carefully cut her out:

I teamed her with some lovely seasonal Graphic45 paper (a freebie with a magazine) and layered her over a large blossom (I liked the idea of the fairy sitting on a flower) along with a piece of chiffony ribbon. For a final touch I and added some lovely shimmer and sparkle to her wings with some Stickles:

We are back to our weekly challenge schedule now so you have until Saturday evening (UK time) to submit your entry. Don't forget, you don't need to use a Stitchy Bear product to win but if you do you'll be in with a chance of winning our main prize. Clean and Simple

The new challenge theme at One Stitch at a Time today is Something Red.

For my DT creation I chose to work with this adorable Owl Landing digi stamp by Sentimental Susan:

I coloured the image with my Promarkers and carefully cut around it:

I'm still on a bit of a Clean and Simple kick and for this card I liked the idea of having my "something red" be red patterned paper showing through punched-out shapes on the card front. I used a 5x7" card blank and rounded the outside corners, for a clean, modern look. I used a Stampin' Up! punch to punch start shapes out of the card front and layered red patterned paper inside the card. I attached my owl image on foam pads, slightly overhanging the edge of the card.

To finish I stamped a sentiment using a Stampin' Up! stamp and added some little wooden star shapes which I coloured red with my Promarkers.

The challenge runs for a week and you don't have to use a Stitchy Bear product to enter but if you do you'll be in with a chance of winning our main prize. Entries not using a Stitchy Bear product will be entered into the draw to win a $3 gift voucher for the Stitchy Bear Digi Outlet.

Use a Digi

The new challenge goes live today at One Stitch at a Time and the theme is Use a Digi.

This week I worked with Hope Jacare Doodles' Christmas Snowman digi stamp:

I coloured the image with my Promarkers and cut it out:

I used some pretty Christmas-themed papers and a doily for a fairly quick and simple Christmas card, attaching the image with foam tape for a little dimension.

You don't need to use a Stitchy Bear product to enter the challenge but if you do you'll be in with a chance of winning our main prize. Entries without a Stitchy Bear product will be entered into the draw to win a $3 gift voucher to the Stitchy Bear Digi Outlet - and don't forget there is currently a sale on at Stitchy Bear Digi Outlet with 50% of all products! :)

Collbaoration Challenge

Every so often, the Creators at Stitchy Bear Digi Outlet put together a collaboration pack - we're given a theme and we each create a brand new digi stamp in that theme and these are put together into an awesome collaboration pack which is then available as a special offer in the Stitchy Bear Digit Outlet, free with any purchase of $10 or more. These images and papers are all brand new and not available in the store yet.

And you - yes, you! - could get your hands on the whole lot absolutely free, simply by entering this week's challenge at One Stitch at a Time! :)

The OSAAT Design Team have all been given one of the new collaboration pack digi stamps to work with and I got to create with this fabulous fall/autumn/thanksgiving image:

Isn't he adorable?

I coloured him with Promarkers and a white gel pen:

And I added some Stickles to the moon so give it a delicate shimmer and shine:

I fussy cut him out and teamed him with yummy autumn-themed papers from Bo Bunny and a pretty doily:

And to finish I added some flowers and die-cut leaves:

To be in with a chance of winning our main prize - the entire collaboration pack of digi stamps and papers above - you need to use a Stitchy Bear product to enter this week's challenge. You can still enter without a Stitchy Bear product and be entered into the draw to win a $3 gift voucher to the Stitchy Bear Digi Outlet.

The theme of the challenge is Holidays - any holiday you like - and the challenge runs for one week.

So get creating! :)

Boo!

Halloween is almost upon us and, appropriately, the challenge theme at One Stitch at a Time this week is.....

......

......

.....BOO! :D

For my card this week I've used BBKakes' rather funky Skull Diva digi stamp:

I love this stylish little rock chick with her skull accessories. :) I coloured her with my Promarkers and fussy cut her out:

I wanted a Halloween-y background for my card so I chose this fabulous haunted house shape on my Cameo and cut it out on black card. I layered it over a background made by blending Distress Inks.

To finish I stamped a greeting in Versamark ink and heat embossed it with Silver Pearl embossing powder and then added my cut-out image using foam pads for a touch of dimension.

You don't need to use a Stitchy Bear product to enter the challenge but if you do (and we'd love to see your Stitchy Bear creations!) you'll be in with a chance of winning our main prize. Farewell to Summer

Well, we're midway through September now and I think it's fair to say that summer is officially over. I hope you had a good one. And I hope Autumn isn't going to be too wet, cold and windy for you.
Unlike the image I've used for my card for the new "Autumn/Fall" challenge at One Stitch at a Time:
I used this sweet "Stroll in the Rain" digi stamp by Reese's Scrap Pieces and coloured it with a mixture of Promarkers and Prismacolor pencils. And I had a go at creating a cloudy sky background using Distress Inks... I think the Weathered Wood Distress Ink was the perfect colour for a gloomy, rainy sky, eh? :)
I used kraft cardstock and patterned paper in rich, autumnal colours and added a piece of gorgeous brown lace and finished things off with some pearls in a bronzy brown colour.
To enter the challenge, just make a project that fits our theme and link it up at the OSAAT blog. If you use a Stitchy Bear product (and we'd love to see your Stitchy Bear creations! :D) you'll be in with a chance to win our main prize. Entries without a Stitchy Bear product will be entered into the draw to win a $3 gift voucher to the Stitchy Bear Digi Outlet.
