Für die Englischlehrerin

Meine Menschin hatte die letzten paar Monate einmal die Woche im Geschäft Englischunterricht in Business English. Die etwas ältere Englischlehrerin war total lieb und lustig. Sie hat ihr zum Abschied dieses Kärtchen gemacht und die Englischlehrerin hat sich gefreut wie ein Honigkuchenpferd und gemeint, dass meine Menschin doch den Beruf wechseln soll!

My human friend had English lessons once a week during the last few months. Sponsored by her employer. Her English teacher is (or was?? haha, no still is...) a very nice and funny elderly lady. My human friend made her a card to say goodbye. She (the teacher) was pleased like a Cheshire cat and said that my human friend definitely should change her profession!!

Dankeschön, ihr lieben Ladies!

Meine Menschin war auf Wunsch ihres Arbeitgebers lange krank geschrieben. Sie hat einfach zu viel gearbeitet und das hat sie krank gemacht. Weil alles so Hals über Kopf ging, konnte sie keine Vorbereitungen treffen für ihre Abwesenheit und die lieben Kolleginnen aus ihrer Abteilung haben sich zu viert dem Sekretariat von meiner Menschin angenommen. Dafür möchte meine Menschin sich nun bedanken mit einer Karte. Damit es kein Streit gibt, haben alle die gleiche Karte bekommen :o)

Die Inspiration für ihre gerollten Blumen hat sie bei der lieben Sara bekommen. Sara hat ihr per E-Mail geschrieben, wie es geht. Und ich habe meiner Menschin über die Schulter geschaut, damit ich es Euch zeigen kann! Super, nicht?!

My human friend was ill quite a while (with permission of her employer). She just worked too much and that made her ill. And because she had to leave work head over heels, she couldn’t have done any preparations for the other girls who filled in for her. They did a great job during her absence and my human friend wants to thank them with a card. To avoid fights she made them all the same one :o)

For her rolled-up flowers she got the inspiration at Sara’s blog. Sara explained her by e-mail how the flowers are crafted and I watched carefully while my human friend made them. Now I can show it to you, isn’t that great?!

Und so hat meine Menschin die Blumen gemacht / and this is how my human friend made the flowers

1. Schritt / Step 1

Stanze ein Kreis aus (egal welche Grösse) / Punch a circle (no matter what size)

2. Schritt / Step 2

Schneide mit der Schere eine Sprirale bis in die Mitte und lasse einen kleinen Kreis rund / Cut a spiral into the middle of the circle and leave a little circle in the middle

3. Schritt / Step 3

Beginne am äusseren Rand die Spirale einzurollen / Start at the outer side to roll up the spiral

4. Schritt / Step 4

Klappe den in der Mitte übrig gelassenen Kreis über die eingerollte Spirale / Flap the circle which you have left in the middle over the rolled-up spiral

5. Schritt / Step 5

Lege die eingerollte Spirale hin und lasse sie von selbst "aufrollen". Wenn du es so magst, dann fahre bei Schritt 7 weiter. Wenn nicht, dann geh zu Schritt 6/ Put down the rolled-up spiral and let it unroll itself. If you like the look this way then jump over to step 7. If not, continue with step 6

6. Schritt / Step 6

Schneide ein kleines Stück von der Mitte weg und rolle die Spirale für mehr Halt noch einmal ein wenig ein / Cut off a little piece from the middle part and then roll it up again (just a little bit for a better hold)

7. Schritt / Step 7

Leime den "Boden" (kleiner übriggelassener Kreis in der Mitte der Spirale) gut voll und drücke dann die aufgerollte Spirale gut fest. Allenfalls musst du noch ein bisschen die Spirale zurechtrücken, ganz wie es dir gefällt. Presse die Spirale eine oder zwei Minuten gut auf dem verleimten Boden fest / Put enough glue on the bottom (little left-over circle in the middle of the spiral) and press the spiral down. Maybe you have to adjust the spiral, it depends on the look you want to achieve. Press the spiral down for one or two minutes

8. Schritt / Step 8

Klebe eine Halbperle in die Mitte und wenn du magst, kannst du die Blume noch mit Glitzerleim oder Ähnliches verzieren / Glue a pearl in the middle and if you like you can use some glitter glue or similar to prettify your flower

Ein paar neue Werke

Meine Menschin hat ein paar Karten verschickt, die nun alle beim Empfänger angekommen sind und deshalb kann ich sie Euch endlich zeigen.

Bleibt Ihr auch alle im Haus, wie meine Menschin? Sie hasst dieses Wetter, es ist ihr viel zu heiss und sonnig. Am liebsten mag sie es, wenn es ganz fest kalt ist und dunkel. Dann sind keine Pollen in der Luft, sagt sie. Und dann muss sie kein schlechtes Gewissen haben, wenn sie im Bastelzimmer sitzt!

My human friend sent some cards to other humans. They've all reached the addressees and finally my human friend allowed me to show them to you. Are you also staying inside today like my human friend? She hates this weather, it's too hot and too sunny in her opinion. She likes it the most when it's really cold and dark. Then there are no pollen in the air, she says. And in dark and cold weather she has no guilty consciene to stay in her crafting room!

Meine Menschin hat ca. Mitte März den Blog eröffnet (ja ich weiss, es hat schon frühere Post drin, die sind im Datum zurückgesetzt worden). Und sie staunt immer wieder, dass sie schon über 4000 Besuche auf ihrem Blog hat! Und sie freut sich immer riesig über all Eure lieben Kommentare und Feedbacks und deshalb hat sie in ihrem Bastelzimmer ein paar Sachen rausgepickt, die sie Euch verschenkt.

My human friend started blogging in March (yes I know there are previous post. That’s because I faked the dates *smile*…). And she is so amazed that she already has over 4000 clicks! She really appreciates all your lovely comments and feedbacks. Because of that she went through all her crafting things and picked out a few things she wants to give you. The rules are simple:

Once again my human friend knows another human friend who is ill. And this is why my human friend made this card in a hurry tonight. Because it has to go on its journey tomorrow (with loads of chocolate in it)!

My human friend had another idea of how the card should have turned out, but I think its pretty nice!

Meine Menschin hat von der lieben Monika von Mo's Wunderwelt ein paar Stempelabdrücke getauscht. Und weil Monika so grosszügig war und ihre Abdrücke mit einem ganz wunderschönen Kärtchen geschickt hat, hat meine Menschin ihr auch eine Karte gemacht. In ihren Lieblingsfarben.

My human friend swapped some stamps (only prints) with the really lovely Monika from Mo's Wunderwelt. And because of Monika's generousity to send my human friend the prints with a truly beautiful card, my human friend also made her one in her favourite colours. Sweet Pea

Gestern ist eine Ladung Sweet Pea Stempel bei meiner Menschin angekommen. Darauf hat sie schon lange gewartet. Sie bewundert die Stempel immer bei Karina und wollte unbedingt auch mal solche schönen Stempel haben. Ihr erstes Werk mit dieser wundervollen Lady hat sie nun gemacht und weils so lässig ist, reicht sie ihn gleich bei der neuen Challenge bei "Die kreativen Stempelfreunde" ein.

Yesterday my human friend got looooooaaaaads of Sweet Pea Stamps. She admired them since the beginning over at Karina's Blog. And she desperately wanted to get one or two of these truly wonderful stamps as well. Her very first card with a Sweet Pea Stamp is what she made tonight. And because it's so much fun she enters it at the challenge over at "The Creative Stamp Friends".

Fürs Brüderchen

In ein paar Wochen ist es soweit und der kleine Bruder meiner Menschin hat Geburtstag. Damit sie nicht in einen Stress kommt, hat meine Menschin ihm schon heute eine Karte gemacht. Sie wird damit auch gleich noch bei den kreativen Stempelfreunden die Jubiläums-Challenge mitmachen.

Auf der Karte sind extra nicht so viele Sachen, sie weiss gar nicht, ob ihr kleiner Bruder überhaupt merkt, dass er eine selbstgemachte Karte in den Händen hält :o) Aber er ist ein lieber Typ, das habe ich schon gemerkt. Aussen hart und Innen ganz weich. Ja, genau.

In a few weeks it's my human friend's little brother's birthday. To avoid getting into time pressure she has already made a card for him. She also wants to enter the challenge over at "Die kreativen Stempelfreunde". There aren't many things on the card because my human friends is not sure if her little brother realises that it's a handmade card :o) But he is a nice guy, outside hard and inside softy, that is what I know for sure!

Happy Birthday Omi

Die Oma meiner Menschin hat in einer Woche Geburtstag. Und meine Menschin wusste lange nicht so recht, was sie machen sollte. Heute ist sie den ganzen Tag an dieser Karte gewesen, die Ideen wollten einfach nicht kommen. Aber sie hat es ja dann doch geschafft. Ich finde die Fliegenpilze am coolsten!

It's my human friend's Grandma's birthday in a week. My human friend had no idea how to create this card. She had a whole day for this card (with long breaks of course) because she was so unimaginatively. Then, nevertheless, at the end she has created it. I like the fly agaric the best!

Meine Menschin hat eine ganz speziell liebe Freundin. Aber von ihr hat sie schon bald drei Jahre nichts gehört. Aber weil meine Menschin immer noch an sie denkt und sich fragt, wo auf dieser Welt sie wohl sein mag und ob es ihr gut geht, hat sie ihr eine Karte gemacht und schickt sie ihrer Zwillingsschwester. Damit diese ihr die Karte weitergibt.

Warum die Menschen wohl immer das Gefühl haben, sie müssen immer spurlos verschwinden, weiss ich auch nicht. Man lässt nämlich nicht nur das Schlechte hinter sich, sonden auch das Gute bleibt zurück.

My human friend has a very special girlfriend. But she hasn't heard from her since over three years. My human friend still thinks of her a lot and she is wondering where on this planet she could be and how she is doing. She made her a card which she will send to her girlfriends twin sister. Hopefully the twin sister will pass it on.

I don't know why humans have to vanish. I mean, it's not only the bad things that are left behind, it's also the good ones.

Gute Besserung...Get well soon

Sämi ist krank. Und auch wenn meine Menschin ihn nicht kennt (und ich auch nicht), gibt es für ihn eine Gute-Besserungs-Karte.

Komm bald wieder auf die Beine, Sämi. Vielleicht hilft dir eine Maus weiter, mir gehts danach immer wieder prima. Ich könnte heute eine für dich fangen!

Sämi is ill. And although my human friend doesn't know him (and me neither), she made him a get-well-soon-card. Maybe he needs a mouse. I always feel better with a mouse. I could catch one for him!
