Thanksgiving 2016

We got home from the hospital on Saturday afternoon and Thanksgiving was the following Thursday.  Alex so proud of his baby brother before he went to church with Grandma Cameron.

My 3 adorable babies in their new Christmas jammies.
So teeny tiny.  He's 2.5 months as I type this and now he seems huge.
Oh newborn life and no sleep.
Our first trip to Target, it felt so good to get out of the house!!
There is a new makeup app that I was playing around with and posted the 2nd pic on Instagram that said all ready for the night shift.  Everyone thought I had really put makeup on...lol

Cole on Thanksgiving Day 2012
Brady on Thanksgiving Day 2015
I washed my hair and got ready, yay.
We ordered Thanksgiving dinner through our grocery store so we just had to heat up everything.  So easy and it was decent food.  It was fun to be able to spend the holiday with Al and Shelly.  It was also sad when Shelly left the next day.  I might have had a small panic attack wondering how I was going to take care of 3 kids without her help.  Thankfully my mom came the next day.

More Hospital Pics

My mom asked Al to send her the first picture of Brady.  I don't think this is the one he sent, but she said something like that one was scary and he said that was the first picture, haha.
Father of 3, how crazy does that sound :)
So so happy to not be pregnant anymore!!
Al's comfortable bed :)  I do want him to know that he slept through most times the nurses came in the our room in the middle of the night or when I was asking him to help me get to the bathroom...lol
I let Al share my bed with me during the day, I think we even took a nap together while Brady was at the nursery.
I heard so many people rave about the steak and lobster dinner so here it is.  My friend Janelle told me to bring a bottle of Martinellis so that was my touch.  The best part of the dinner was the green beans, seriously so good.  I think I ordered them for almost every meal while we were there.
Getting ready to go home and face the real world :(
His going home outfit that only fit him for about 2 weeks, cutest little guy.
What baby just lets you put them in their car seat for the very first time and just looks at you like this.  I can't believe he didn't cry or whine.  I remember Alex crying the entire way home from the hospital.
One last pic before our peaceful stay comes to an end.
Yay for everything going great....labor, delivery, tests, nursing.  I loved loved my stay at Baylor.  The staff was amazing, food decent, they let me sleep for 4 hour stretches at night, and were just so awesome.

BRADY!!

Having a baby is like Christmas morning.  Everything is so exciting and new and what is sweeter than a newborn baby.  I tried to soak up every second of our peaceful hospital stay.  It was almost like a mini vacation being able to spend 2 days straight with Al and of course Brady.
We made the nurses a basket with lots of goodies for them to take when they were in our room.
Shelly brought the boys back later that night for another visit.  It was so fun to watch them interact with Brady.

They got to watch Brady get his first bath and Cole was not happy about the crying...lol
My friends Ally, Kristin, and Lauren came that night to visit.  They brought magazines, Diet Coke, and cookies, love them.
Brady was an angel the minute he was born.  He latched right away and was a breast feeding champ.  The lactation consultants left my boobs alone the entire hospital stay, hooray.  They also asked if I would come to a breastfeeding class to encourage other moms, haha.
Lots of skin to skin time and snuggles with sweet Brady.  This picture makes me want to freeze time.
It doesn't get any better than this.  So very thankful for all these amazing boys in my life.

Alex so excited about his new baby brother.
