Whimsy and Stars Studio {Greetings of the Season}

Another digital stamp is being released this week at Whimsy and Stars Studio!!! I was super excited to ink up this sweet image because it is a CHRISTMAS image! Hooray!!! This image is called "Holly" and will be released on Tuesday, October 8th. Click here to see more Christmas images from Whimsy and Stars Studio!

I inked up this little Angel with my Copics and used a clean and simple design for my sketch. I then added a little red twine as an accent.

I used this cute digital image from Whimsy and Stars Studio called Pumpkin Kitty. I tied some twine around the base of my card to break up the dark designer paper. I am also playing along with a few fun challenges!!! Thank you so much for your inspiration!

Whimsy & Stars Studio, MOJO Monday, Stampin' Royalty and Paper Issues {Celebrate Autumn}

Wow, Friday already!! Where does the time go? 

Today I am up on the Whimsy and Stars Studio page, sharing a "Fall" Themed card!

I used Mabelle's sweet digital stamp called Amelia. 

It is easy to use digital images, you just print them from your printer onto a piece of 81/2" x 11" cardstock! I do this at night before I head to bed and then the ink has completely dried by morning. Of course, you can always dry the images with a heat gun! I paired her with some October Afternoon paper in my stash and some twine! I coloured her with my Copics and used a SRM Sticker for the sentiment.

That sweet flower can work for ANY season, and in this card, I turned it into a sunflower.

Whimsy and Stars Studio Release {Bunches of Birthday Wishes}

August is here and I am back from a lovely 2 week getaway! I had a great trip to visit my extended family!!! It was really a lot of fun! Lots of laughing and lots of good food. Just what we needed!

Today I am excited to share my project using the brand new digital image called "Penelope"! She is just darling and I love that she is a birthday image!!! I have been making more and more birthday cards lately!  I kept my card clean and simple.

Whimsy & Stars Studio {July Release #2}

Welcome to another stamp release for Whimsy and Stars Studio. Today, Mabelle is releasing this adorable stork stamp called "Sweet Arrival". It is fun to colour and absolutely perfect for the baby cards you need for your stash!

I decided to create two cards...one for a boy and one for a girl! I am also playing along with the MOJO Sketch Challenge. Both cards are created from this sketch.

I kept the design fairly clean and simple, using some light embellishments. The paper is My Mind's Eye, the sentiment comes from SRM Stickers, the ribbon is some Sage Shadow 1/4" grosgrain from my stash and the button was also in my stash.

I created a "girl" baby card, in traditional pink but I love how soft the pink looks matched with the Smoky Slate Paper. I love this new paper! Gah! Anyway, I once again used the Mojo Sketch and tried to keep my card light and uncluttered. 

The paper is from my SU! stash, the ribbon is retired 1/4" grosgrain Pretty in Pink. The rolled flower was in my stash, from a discarded project. Once again, I used an SRM Sticker for the sentiment.

Whimsy and Stars Digi Release "Together Forever"

Wedding bells are ringing for Whimsy and Stars Studio!!! This month, Mabelle has created the perfect wedding themed digital stamp for all of those summer weddings! I wanted to play along with a few challenges and found a great sketch over at Tuesday Morning Sketches . I also played along with Clear It Out to use something sparkly on your project, finally got out some of the silver glimmer paper I hoard and used it! Thanks for the inspiration to use it!

Whimsy and Stars Studio Blog Hop & Release Party!

Good morning!!! Today is release day for Whimsy and Stars Studio and Mabelle has two, super sweet images to share! Be sure to start at the beginning of our blog hop and hop along, as there is the chance to win a free Whimsy and Stars digital stamp!

Our first new image to share with you, is a lovely image called Little Princess Girl. 

For my first card, I went light and airy. I used some yellow and purple papers and left my card clean and simple! Wouldn't this image be perfect for a little "princess" party! 

Mabelle also has a more contemporary girl this month called Amelia, and she is sporting an adorable flower and super cute boots!!
