Paper Sweeties September Release Rewind and a Farewell

Time for a new stamp release over at Paper Sweeties! This is my last design team project as a Paper Sweeties designer. I have enjoyed the past 9 months being on the team and designing for the lovely, Debbie. Debbie has been good friend to me and I appreciate her taking a chance on me to be a designer. It is time for me to move on and to try new things. I wish Debbie and the team continued success. I will miss you girls!

Paper Sweeties September Release Countdown!

Time for a new stamp release over at Paper Sweeties! Sometimes it is nice to dress up a bottle of wine for a special occasion! Using the new star die, I cut out a star from some glimmer paper and then heat embossed the sentiment in silver embossing powder and ink. I had some fancy shiny ribbon that I used for the top of my tag!

Paper Sweeties September Release Sneak Peeks!

Time for a new stamp release over at Paper Sweeties! I created a simple wedding card using the new heart die. I cut out a two hearts in white paper and one in black. Then I cut away one of the white hearts to make the front of a tuxedo shirt and added a "button" to the top...hopefully you can see the bride and groom...

The Challenge Reminder & Paper Sweeties Monthly Challenge

I used the sketch from The Challenge to create my Paper Sweeties monthly challenge card! This month, Debbie has inspired us with a Fall themed photo and I have to admit, I am looking forward to cooler temperatures and to getting back into a routine!

 

I used an embossing folder, some woodgrain paper and a flower mixed with the pretty inspiration photo! I love pretty flowers in the photo! I also love the new large sentiments from Hello Friend! I embossed it in gold embossing powder. You do not need to use the inspiration colours for your project...feel free to be inspired by the photo too!

Paper Sweeties Designer Spotlight

I am so excited to be featured over at Paper Sweeties today... I decided to play with three different Paper Sweeties items! I just love the roses and the die cut for them! They are so easy to use and the modern style is so pretty!

Paper Sweeties August Release Rewind!

Time for a new stamp release over at Paper Sweeties! 

As you can see...I LOVE this sweet flower and die set! I mixed the new release with the Teapot Die (another fave from Paper Sweeties) and I wanted to create a funkier look with the colours. I die cut the teapot in black and white polka dot paper...I hope it stands out enough. The roses are clustered together and the sentiment is stamped in the same colour for some continuity!

Paper Sweeties August Release Party!

Time for a new stamp release over at Paper Sweeties! 

This is my favourite new set and matching die! I LOVE roses and I especially LOVE ones in this style...kinda like in my blog header! This flower is stylized and pretty! I cut out some leaves with the new leaf die cut too...and added a few for some "foliage" around my flowers. I also used the new banner die and the pretty sentiment! I created a clean and vintage wedding card so I am also linking up to The Card Concept Wedding Card Challenge!

I love using doilies and some sequins...this is my favourite card of all my release cards. I hope you like it too! Be sure to hop along today to see what the rest of the team created and be sure to come back tomorrow for one final project.

Paper Sweeties August Release Countdown!

Time for a new stamp release over at Paper Sweeties! 

I absolutely love balloon dies and stamps and I squealed when I saw this sweet balloon image in my design team package this month! I made a super simple card and stamped the balloon five times and then coloured the balloons with my Copics. I kept the design simple and I am so happy with how it turned out. I love that the balloon "string" is curved which makes stamping a bunch of balloons easy! I have not made a card this simple in such a long time!

Paper Sweeties August Inspiration Challenge #22 - 'Let's Celebrate'

Today Paper Sweeties is celebrating its 2nd birthday and I am so happy to be on the team! We have some fabulous guests with us for a HUGE birthday hop and I hope you will hop along...there are prizes to be won!
