Some Exciting News!

When Susan McShirley of SRM Stickers put out a design team call, I knew I had to apply! Being on her team 2 years ago was an awesome experience and I really like Susan! She is a lovely lady and I was tickled pink when I received an email back from her, welcoming me to the team! Thank you so much, Susan! These are just some of the projects I created using SRM products.

I am also back from a trip to Anaheim and the CHA. Wow, what an overwhelming experience but I was happy to meet some crafty friends up close and personal.

Here I am, pre-convention, ready to meet some people and to learn!!! 

I was a little nervous!

First off, I headed off to meet the sweet and lovely, Susan McShirley of SRM Stickers. I love being on her design team and was happy to meet this lady in person! She introduced me to everyone and made me feel special. She is genuine and caring.

Then I met Mrs. Sweet (Sweet Stamp Shop) herself! Wow, what a firecracker! Nicole Rixon is one infectious person...positive, upbeat and full of life! I was in awe! I met her fabulous designer, Alyssa and of course, the lovely Dannielle who manages my FUSION team!!!! I was thrilled to hug that girl!! Hooray!!!

I met Ivy at the Lawn Fawn Booth! She was a doll and helped me with my make and take card!!! We had a mutual friend, Amy T....it was cool to chat!

I was so happy to meet Suzanne Bier (a designer for Whimsy & Stars Studio with me) and the lovely Some Odd Girl ladies...what a nice group!!! Their stamps are SO cute!

Tenia and I hooked up briefly at the Convention, she was lovely and introduced me to some other crafters. It was nice to meet her!

And finally I met Leah L'Orange. This gal lives in the US but is originally a Canadian like me. We have chatted online before but I could really see what a gem she is. Down to earth and real! Love this lady. She made me feel welcome. Thanks Leah!!

And finally my design team pal, Stacey. I was so happy to give her a hug. She was on the move all day and we only had a brief visit but it was great!!!!

Exciting News!!!

Well, I am pretty excited! I have been delving into the "Shabby" side of crafting. Although I still consider myself to be a "clean" stamper, I am thrilled to be joining the design team at The Shabby Tearoom. Debbie, the challenge owner, is the loveliest lady! I am tickled pink to be designing for her! 

To apply for the team, we had to make a card based on the inspiration photo above. Oh I just LOVE the inspiration that comes from these photos!!! My mom and I admire ALL things shabby and we collect tea cups, tea pots and other fun "country" feeling goodies. I would love this chair in my home! I created this card below and submitted for the design team call. I used some SU! Goodies and a SRM Sticker for the sentiment.

Well I am pretty pumped to share some exciting news!!! Jackie Rockwell and I have been collaborating together for the past month and we have developed a brand new card challenge club together!!! Eeek! It is called "FUSION".  We are launching the blog today, please click HERE to visit the blog.

To get the beakers boiling and to start our hypothesis right now, we are having a little FACEBOOK contest...please LIKE our FACEBOOK page and let us know whether or not you would be interested in being a guest designer for FUSION. Would you be interested in designing for an inspiration photo, a sketch or combining both to create FUSION?

We will choose three applicants to join us as a Guest Designers for our first challenge on Friday, April 5th!!!

A Brand New Look and Merry Monday Reminder!

So...do you notice something new? Yep! A new blog look for me and I am as pleased as punch!  As some of you may know, I love to design blogs for others but for some reason, I just have been unable to create a look that I loved for myself!  I think I have created about 5 different looks for myself in the past year!  So I found Lindsay over at Happypotamus Designs. I am so thrilled with the look she created! Thank you Lindsay!!!

Also I have some fun new features on my blog to share:

1. My pinterest and my facebook pages are linked in my blog banner...look for the "F" and the "P".
2. The Merry Monday Sketches will be all together under the tab called "Past Merry Monday Sketches" at the top! I am working on that right now!

So, do you think this new look is me?  I love Poppy Parade, So Saffron and Baja Breeze, and the flowers are so much fun!! At first I wondered if the look was too modern for me but I really love the clean lines and the bright happy feel!!!  Lindsay was so wonderful to work with, she is truly a professional!

Exciting News!

Hello stamping friends...

I am excited to share that I will be designing cards for Joanna Munster's brand new stamping line called "Inspired by Stamping"!  Joanna's card making work is something I have admired for a long time and I was absolutely over the moon and deeply honored when she asked me to join her team! 

My time on Joanna's team begins in December, I sure hope you will all come out to see the big reveal!  I am designing with an amazing team, I just hope I can keep up!!  Please check out their blogs below.
