Neat & Tangled {Masculine Thank You Card for Fall}

Today I am sharing a card I made with the new Neat & Tangled stamp set I purchased at Butterfly Reflections Ink. As soon as I saw the stamp, I knew I had to have it! I decided to make a masculine thank you card. I found this red, plaid paper in a stash!! I thought it worked well. I hope you do too! I used my copic markers to colour the leaves.

I am playing along with the Simon Says Stamp-Monday Challenge (Autumn) and the FUSION-Autumn Bouquet Challenge.

Season's Greetings {CAS Christmas}

I love the sketches at CAS(E) that Sketch! This week's sketch is very cool and I decided to go a little "off the sketch" but I hope you can see how I was inspired. I made a CAS Christmas card and so I am linking up to Simon Says Stamp too. Yay!

I just purchased this new Hero Arts stamp set from Butterfly Reflections Ink called "Holiday Petals & Leaf Stamp".  Anytime I can find a new poinsettia set, I buy it! I have a thing for poinsettias!

Winnie & Walter, Butterfly Reflections Ink & Simon Says Stamp {Hello}

Another post from me! I am enjoying my tidy craft space and some fun National Scrapbooking Day challenges in blog land. I am a newbie to the Butterfly Reflections Ink Challenge, I am linking up to the Simon Says Stamp Challenge and I am also playing with the Winnie & Walter Sketch Challenge.

I pulled out an old retired floral set from Stampin' Up and matched it with some pretty washi tape. Heat embossing the flowers in white and then watercolouring them with distress inks on watercolour paper was fun! I wanted to reflect the mood board challenge. I love the trend of these bright colours matched with gold and I wanted to give it a whirl!

Simon Says Stamp {CAS Altenew}

Today I am sharing a simple card set I made using Altenew's Striped Floral Stamp Set and the Avery Elle Thanks a Bunch set for the senitments. I LOVE how it stamped and it was fun creating some simple cards for my stash. I ordered the stamp set from Butterfly Reflections Ink. Great store and the stamps got here in a WEEK! I was blown away by the customer service.

I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured the images with my Copic markers. I tried to keep each design clean and simple.

I am entering these cards into the following challenge:

CAS(E) this Sketch & Colour Me {Fabulous}

I made a card for the current CASE this Sketch and the current Colour Me Challenge. The colours over at Colour Me were "Fall" like and that is one of my favourite times of year. I got out my current favourite set...Stippled Blossoms and a pretty sentiment stamp from Stampin' Up as well. The sketch is what got my creative juices flowing...loved the layout...it was truly inspiring!

The flowers are stamped in Crushed Curry and then two step stamped with the Cajun Craze. The sentiment is my neutral choice...of Early Espresso. The french script is stamped in Baked Brown Sugar and I have added some small green leaved in Wild Wasabi Green.

Seize the Sketch #20 {Joyous Season}

To see my Paper Sweeties Post...please CLICK HERE.

Wow, two weeks have FLOWN by and we are sharing another sketch at Seize the Sketch! This time I am the sketcher and I hope you will enjoy my sketch. We have a few changes over at Seize the Sketch. We have some designers leaving and some new designers joining us. Come on over to the Seize the Sketch blog to see what is happening.

My sketch is fairly simple and I decided to keep it monochromatic to keep it on the cleaner side. I inked up an older MFT Christmas set and decided to get out a Lil' Inker snowflake die. My paper comes from the Upsy Daisy paper company but they are now closed. It was hard to cut into this pretty paper but I loved the soft blue colour with the navy & white combo.

I am trying to play with my photography skills and this card was taken in natural light. I like how it looks much more than when I use my light tent and lights. I want to add some subtle props in the background soon...I am working on this. I managed to get the background "unfocused" which is the look I was hoping to achieve!!

Come and play along with us at Seize the Sketch.

Spring Break Frivolity! {TAWS, CTD, MFT & FTL}

Well my first day of Spring Break was HIGHLY productive! I had a blast; inking up some fun new stamp sets and playing along with a couple of challenges.

This first card I used the sketch from the Fall to Layout and the colours from The Colour Throwdown. I was also inspired by the BIC Challenge and played along-so I used an Alley Way Stamp!

For my next card, I played along with the BIC Challenge again and also used the colours from The Colour Throwdown again. The sketch above is one I found at My Favorite Things!

The Alley Ways Stamps {Get Well Flower}

What a great day! I managed to get in my daily walk and I even made some yummy soup for supper in our crockpot. Our house is tidy and now I am off to bed nice and early! Yep! I love it when that happens. It is the little things that makes life so sweet and special!

The TAWS-BIC Challenge was calling my name again this week (LOVE the colours!!!) I won the BIC Challenge a few weeks ago and I chose this pretty stamp set called Flower Doodles from The Alley Way Stamps!

I couldn't believe I had won as I hardly ever win these days! Let me tell you, I was jumping up and down! The stamp set arrived from Alison last week (thank you, Alison!) and tonight is the first time I have had the chance to ink it up! So I went to work; inked in memento ink and coloured with Copics. Simple design-short & sweet but I love that flower doodle! I sure hope you like my card too!

Paper Players, Colour Me & The Card Concept {So Kind of You}

Playing along with a few challenges. A quick and simple card...perfect for my stash. I was going through my craftroom this weekend and managed to get a lot of it reorganized. I always find that when I do that, I am more apt to craft! And craft I did. I managed to get quite a few of my design team projects done for SRM Stickers and then spent today playing along for fun. I just adored Jaydee's great sketch!

{Supplies Used}
Stamps: Stampin' Up Sentiment Set
Inks: Black
Papers: DSP from my stash-scraps!!
Extras: Flower Punches, Crimper

TAWS {hello there} & Paper Issues {Colouring}

I was excited to play along with the current TAWS-BIC Challenge. The inspiration photo got me thinking Pinwheels and so I went in search of my Tiny Treasures stamp set. I inked up the Pinwheels from the Tiny Treasures set with my copics and used the photo frame from the Framed Set. The sentiment comes from the cute floral set called Petal Pushers.
