Stamp-A-Holics Challenge #123

Another week has come and gone! I am back with another Stamp-A-Holics Challenge and this week we are challenging you to make a 10 minute card with the colours Pretty in Pink, Chocolate Chip, Soft Suede and Whisper White.  I got the chance to choose the colours for this week!  I was so excited to use Suede!!  But then I had to sub in Kraft for Suede as my package from SU! didn't arrive in time for our challenge and so I had no Suede to play with!!  Ah!  The irony!  Oh well!
I went to the Clean and Simple Blog used the current Fall To Layout Challenge.  I changed the sketch a bit, I hope that it ok!!  I decided to use my White Craft Ink and my "Eastern Blooms" set.  I also used the sentiment from the set called "Bella's Bloom".  This was a super easy card to make and took me under the 10 minutes to make it.  No photos of Mr. Snappy tonight, he was too peeved that I won and he did not want a picture taken...hmm...sore loser! LOL!!!

Check out the rest of the Design Team's creations by visiting Carole'Anne's Blog and be sure to link up your creation there.  Hope you get the chance to play along with us this week! On a personal note, I am off to take a Card Workshop with our Design Team Leader Sandi McIver!!  She is offering an all day class in Sequim Washington on Saturday and I get to go!  Yahoo!!!  I will be taking my camera and hope to get some photos of the event!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Unscripted Sketches #46

I made this card using the Unscripted Sketches current Sketch Challenge. I used all scraps from my Bella Bleu Designer Paper for this card and the Not Quite Navy card base was even a base I had created for another card but then never used, so it was folded and ready to be made into a card!
The best thing about SU! Designer Paper is that it is 2-sided, which make coordinating cards easy! My sentiment comes from the "All Holidays" set and the flower is from "Bella's Bloom". I love this pretty little flower and used my markers to ink it up. The wide oval punch works well with this flower and I pulled out my "Lots of Tags" die with the Big Shot to created a nice little nest for the Oval Punchout. On the inside of my card, I used an extra strip of DSP I had in the scrapbox. I tried to take a close-up of the flower because it is covered in glitter. I was hoping to enter this card into the Saturday Spotlight challenge, "It's So Slick!" but the glitter is not glimmering as I had hoped. I also added some little rhinetones to the top left hand corner of the card, to add some more glitz.

Thanks for stopping by!

Masking Class

What a week! I have wanted to craft but have been so busy working...the time just flies by! My goal tonight after work is to make some cards and to catch up on some challenges. I need to get to the Colour Throwdown and the OCC sketch...they are both calling my name! LOL!
This first card was made at the Masking Class and uses the "For All You Do" Stamp set. We masked the flowers and then stamped over them with the French Script Background Stamp. The colours are Sage Shadow, Ruby Red and Basic Black. I also used the Stamp-a-ma-jig...very first time I have really used it and I can see why it is so great. What a difference lining up the sentiments and the images. It was really simple. Here is one of the cards we made at my Masking Class on Tuesday night. I used the Neighbourhood Stamp set that is FREE in the SAB Mini. I love this set!!! My colours are Orchid Opulence, Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive. Love that shiny satin ribbon! I am so happy that I ordered it in that colour. I paired the Neighbourhood set with the "Bella's Bloom" set which is so sweet and used the sentiment from it. The DSP is the Cottage Wall DSP.Thanks for stopping by! I sure hope I get to stamp this weekend. I have a lot of catching up to do on housework but I am sure I will be able to fit in a card or two!

Happy Stamping!

Stampin' Royalty and Colour Q

I am playing with my Bella Blooms set again today!!! Oh how I love that pretty flower...why didn't I get that set long ago!!! I used the current Stampin' Royalty Sketch and Arielle's Colour Q Challenge to use Bashful Blue, Taken with Teal, Real Red and Black. I did use Bashful Blue, it is the soft sponging around the flower.I used my Stampin' Write Markers to colour directly onto the stamp to achieve both the Real Red Flowers and the Taken with Teal Stem. The DSP is an old Real Red hostess pack of paper I had stashed. The ribbon in Real Red is tied in a knot, for a different look. The flower is punched out with the Wide Oval Punch and that oval is on one of the dies from the Lots of Tags Die.I used the Kind and Caring Thoughts Set for the sentiment on the inside and the outside. Love that set too! I hope you like my card! Please leave me a comment so I may come and visit your blog too!
