Born in FT. Morgan, CO then moving to Wyoming shortly thereafter, Sean grew up a Cheyenne country boy. Cheyenne, Wyoming is still where he and his wife Amy make their home and his love and pride for the state and the Rocky Mountain Region shows in every aspect of his life. Sean has always indulged himself in music, even thru his college and independent league baseball career. Most of his influence is comprised of country music well-knowns such as, George Strait, Blake Shelton, Chris Young, Merle Haggard, and “Texas Country” artists like Randy Rogers and Chris Knight. When asked what sub-genre of country music he belongs, he simply stated, “none. We do our own thing. We have ventured far enough out to go ahead and loosely call it Rocky Mountain Country.” Call it what you will, but, with Sean’s writing style and the eclectic backgrounds of all band members, their original material is indeed something special!
Sean has searched for any and all avenues which to pursue his music career. That career really started taking off as he competed in contests for 97.9 Big Country, winning Big Country Idol in 2012 and Big Country’s version of “The Voice” that same year at Cheyenne Frontier Days. He also won Cheyenne’s got talent for 1007 Kolt FM that same year (2012). That same year, also, American Idol came through Casper, WY where on a “why not” sort of whim, showed up and made the cut! Through the American Idol process he Kept advancing finally finishing in the Hollywood rounds in the top 80 contestants. That opened the flood gates and inspired him to go all-in and search for musicians. He says “I feel blessed to have found the group of people that make up the Sean Curtis Band.” We think as things turn toward the national eye, He and the band are prepared to show the country what ROCKY MOUNTAIN COUNTRY sounds like!!

Bob Benson/Lead Guitar
It was obvious that music was going to be a major part of Bob’s life from the time he was a little boy in Omaha. Listening to 8 tracks and LP’s that his uncles owned, he was exposed to music from Bob Seger, Hendrix, Rush, Led Zeppelin and other greats from the 60’s and 70’s. This formed the foundation he began building on when he was given his first guitar. After moving to Fort Collins when he was 12, Bob began taking his guitar everywhere with him after starting high school. He financed his own music education by taking lessons from some of the local greats. Bob spent several years honing his skills at jam nights, parties, and playing with friends. After years of playing in bar bands of different genres, Bob answered an ad in Craigslist, and auditioned for the Sean Curtis Band in Feb. of 2012.
Tim Elliott/Percussion, Vocals
Tim Elliott began playing the drums in 7th grade band. His first professional band was called Seducer and featured future, Yngwie Malmsteen, Eyes / Talisman / Journey, Trans-Siberian Orchestra singer Jeff Scott Soto. When that band broke up, Tim went to Philadelphia to find a musical situation. Ten years were spent playing in three different rock bands, writing and recording original material . Some regional touring, getting to open for the likes of Blue Oyster Cult, Foghat, Dirty Looks, Molly Hatchett, Pat Travers, Dangerous Toys, Brother Cane, KIX, Zakk Wylde, Vince Neil and gigs all over Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, Virginia, Delaware and New Jersey kept Tim busy till he missed the mountains of Colorado too much and moved back in 1997.
Several recording projects and original and cover bands brought Tim together with his wife Sherri, who was his rhythm section partner in Wall Of Dogs, which released 2 cd’s of original music and played over 400 shows in 8 years. A 3 year stint with Hazmat, a classic rock cover band brought Tim to his current musical status, playing modern rock cover tunes with Audible Clique ( Tim is also lead vocalist, wife Sherri is bassist ), an 80’s metal tribute with Blood Pollution, and most recently, as drummer for the Sean Curtis Band.
