"Echoing a variety of artists from Blues Traveler and the Black Crowes to Steve Kimock and New Riders of the Purple Sage, Stanky Pockets nods to its roots-leaning influences while creating a sound of it's own. Stanky Pockets have whipped up a sonic funk that's absolutely delectable." -Nick Hutchinson, Westword
"Stanky Pockets tore up the stage at Quixote's. The Denver based band came out and played an awesome set. Arguably one of the best performances of the night. SP was in the zone. Stanky Pockets added the rock and roll element with ripping guitar and harmonica licks, very powerful stuff. True to their name, the venue had a touch of skunk when these guys came out." -Mark Bacus, Colorado Jam Scene.
