PAT SHERIDAN BIO
It’s hard to believe that Pat Sheridan has been writing, performing and recording his own eclectic mix of music for four decades! From his early days of growing up in a west side blue collar Columbus, Ohio neighborhood in America’s heartland, to currently residing in the warmth and sunshine of Florida, Pat Sheridan’s musical roots started with rock n’ roll garage band jams with buddies and high school gigs. As his music evolved his focus changed to a southern rock-style with country leanings. Today his distinct vocals and writing echo the blues and Americana sound! Comments from his fans include:
Your music sounds real!! And that’s the way we wanna Rock &Roll !!
Another fan. - le chauve
Your voice is awesome....has the same passion as Howlin' Wolf.
Thanks,
Alex Dixon (grandson of Willie Dixon)
Some of the songs just give me chills, its amazing on some of them you have such a Tony Joe White Vibe...Love it, Love it!! Hugs My Friend!!....Kasey Ann
After a serious health scare in 2007, Sheridan got serious about writing, producing, and recording his music that is now receiving attention not only from many over-the-air and internet radio stations, but world-wide play, including a two hour radio show special in Germany on his music only! His music has also been used as theme music on many national TV shows.
Pat Sheridan’s Discography includes:
- Pat Sheridan Band debut album and a 45 rpm release of the song “Jack Foley” in 1981
- 45 release of the tune “Win, Lose, or Draw in 1983
- 2 CD’s, Love & Pain and Hurricane in 2007
- 1 CD, Winds of Change in 2009
- EP for charity in 2008
- His newest CD, The Love Remains in 2014
His band members, sidemen, and supporting cast include Pure Prairie League and JD Blackfoot past members, and people who have played with Elvis Presley, Adrian Belew, Craig Fuller, Artimus Pyle and members of most Southern Rock Bands. His musical influences run the spectrum from Jerry Jeff Walker, Billy Joe Shaver, Kris Kristofferson, Townes Van Zandt, Guy Clark. Rodney Crowell, Howling Wolf, Willie Dixon, Delbert McClinton, to anything from Muscle Shoals.
Pat Sheridan’s writing, and music reside in a very special bluesy, ballsy, right-to-heart style whose time has come! As one fan stated so aptly, “Your music sounds real!”
