Album Notes

With their sophomore release, 'Soul Conductor', Hurts Like Hell brings a new depth to their brand of the blues and rock n' roll. Rich vocal harmonies, screaming dual guitars, thick low end, and fat vintage drum sounds punctuate the fourteen-song, bookend ode to summer. With an added guitarist, Hurts Like Hell found a renewed urgency to write and further dial in their bluesy, southern rock sound from their 2013 debut release, 'Leave Em To The Crows'. Showcasing the interplay of two unique guitarists' tones and stylings, 'Soul Conductor' is a raucous, soulful and whimsical venture thru a variety of styles within the guitar rock realm.

Crawling out of the depths of hell and straight into the Olympia, WA music scene, this burning blues band found itself right at home singing about rolling dice with the devil, and selling their soul to play the blues. With an impressive rap sheet of previous bands between them all, this pack of dogs believes in giving it all every time they play and is sure to deliver one of the most explosive blues performances you can find around the Pacific Northwest.
Hurts Like Hell's first album, "Leave 'Em To The Crows" debuted in November 2013.
Their sophomore release, "Soul Conductor" was released in late summer 2015.
