BIOGRAPHY/AMG
Tom Demalon
Formed by Gregg Anton, who had previously played with Marin County act Zero (which also feature Huey Lewis & The News' Mario Cipollina), Gregg's Eggs sound was rooted in the roots-influenced styles of so many other jam bands. In fact, long-time Grateful Dead contributor Robert Hunter has provided the band with lyrics to several songs. Rounding out Gregg's Eggs are vocalist Suzanne Sterling, guitarist Futoshi Morioka, bassist Chris Wilson, pianist Ken Greene, and percussionist Lonnie Walter. The band released a self-titled debut in 2001 and have also issued a couple live recordings.
